  1. That looks like it has a lot of great parts! Rather unfortunate placement of the blue cloud behind the flying bird, though...
  2. Not as far as I know. They really expect you to call. I've had it happen with PayPal a few times and once with credit card.
  3. Yeah, I thought about it after seeing it, and decided I'd eventually want one, but after all the backorders and massive delays (they still don't have the Cantina back in stock since September!), I figured if I wanted to build it this year I better order it day one! Awesome! Enjoy!
  4. They're on B&P in lime and green right now, and sometimes can be found at PAB walls, although now with COVID it's probably unlikely. I picked up a cup a couple of years ago at a wall.
  5. Sometimes that happens if there's an issue with a credit card or especially PayPal. If you pay with PayPal, they'll authorize the amount for a short time, but if TLG doesn't charge it within that window, they need to reauthorize. I've had it happen before, it's not a big deal.
  6. I'm hoping that @soccerkid6 designs a new Castle line since he's working for TLG now!
  7. I bought mine at 12:01 opening day and it still hasn't shipped.
  8. But Star Wars and Nexo Knights were set in space and look at all those sets...
  9. I got my VIP account the same way, back in 2008 or 2009... it's been so long I can't even remember. I signed up on paper in the store and never gave them my e-mail. I finally did back in 2017 or 2018, which is when I signed up for the online VIP. I'm wondering if waiting to sign up online avoided your problem?
  10. Very nice work! I always love the size of your builds and how you make them with a lot of detail. The opening buildings, the funny inclusions like the hunter and the deer, and your level of detail for the scale of the build are all great! Thanks for sharing!
  11. I was one of the first lots of VIPs, but don't have this problem. Maybe it was because I didn't create an online profile until just a few years ago? Did you create your VIP online account when you got your VIP card?
  12. Nexo was space lumped in with Castle...
  13. If you want a new theme, make sure you tell them so in the comments (e.g., 'Bring back classic space!'). I suggested they also bring back the goat!
  14. Don't forget to tell them to bring back the goats!
  15. Our two boxes were: L Back, box 1 Ladybug Pug Airplane x 2 Violin x 2 Dolphin Beekeeper Dolphin Beekeeper Dolphin Beekeeper Alien Space cop Alien Space cop Space cop Alien L Front R Back, Box 1 Pug Ladybug x 2 Pug Airplane Violin Castaway Chorus girl x 3 Castaway x 2 Centaur Aztec Centaur Aztec Centaur Aztec R front Box 2 was essentially the same, except that the last two aliens and space cops were backward on the left front, and the last two centaur and aztecs were mixed up on the right side.
  16. Nice job! Your lighting here is much better than the first MOC. The all white backgrounds help a lot. Photography is a steep learning curve, but you'll get there. I still struggle with mine after 4 years of trying! I really like the way you've layered the sand at the edge of the water. Something to keep an eye on as you accumulate parts are wedge pieces. I find them infinitely useful for smoothing over edges that otherwise get 'pixellated'. The tree is fun, and you've done a good job keeping all the olive together, with the brighter green on top, so it looks like some new growth, which makes sense. The run down fortress walls look good, and the vortex/portal really stand out, which is nice. I like the vines, they give a good sense of time. The bridge is good, and I like the horse posing, too. I'm very interested to see where this story goes! Keep up the good work, and don't worry, your brick collection will build up!
  17. Tan horse, falcon torso, blacksmith torso, knights legs, shield, and helmet just dropped on B&P, no price yet, so they will be available at some point. And @jtooker, I wound up with a Year of the Ox and Flower free gift with mine!
  18. Don't worry, you'll get addicted! As for pieces showing up, it may take a few days, so keep checking back!
  19. Ha ha! I just jumped on the thread too early! The pictures and story are great! Love the collaboration and seeing how Parzival gets all his memories back. The lighting is brilliant, from the doorway to the torches, and really adds to the effect. It seems like a real pain, but it was well worth it in the end! I like all the detailing, like the use of the garage 1x2s and the 2x2 round plates to build up columns instead of the bricks for more texture. Great job!
  20. In my experience, if the part isn't even listed, they don't plan on selling it. If it's listed as 'out of stock' wit no price ($0.00), then it will be listed at some time in the future. Because it's not even Feb 1 here, the parts may not all be listed yet. In fact, you can usually find the replacement parts and not on the buy bricks section if they're licensed, but in this case, there's not even a listing for these pieces, so they may simply not be loaded yet. I'll be really disappointed if we can't at least buy the horse, so let's hope!
  21. Very cool! I like the whole side view, and the length! The lighting is great too! How did you light the torches? Is that a light element or did you photoshop in the light in post? I love the lighting in the big room too. It looks spectacular! Do you have a story to go with this more than just the sentence on Flickr, or is it Tabib's 'secret'?
  22. That's a good point: know your local laws and practices (with everything you do). Ironically, the drug dealers and people who are using these scales for nefarious purposes aren't likely to buy online and usually skirt these problems by buying second hand at a flea market or buying kitchen scales at big box stores in cash, leaving the rest of us to pay the price. I had never considered just how much overlap there is between Lego and drug dealing: balances, baggies, expensive, addiction...
  23. Small kitchen scales on amazon are pretty cheap and you can use them for cooking too! Just make sure the weights are good to 0.01g. The last decimal is always suspect, so you might miss a few things with 0.1g accuracy. For $12 it's hard to go wrong with a 0.01g scale though!
  24. Ah, I see. I missed the difference.
  25. Is that not 65435? $0.69 USD and available on B&P right now.
