  1. If you use uBlock Origin, you can use it to block all the pieces of the pop-up and keep scrolling.
  2. Looks cool, hopefully we can see this used for Maul and potentially other double-bladed lightsaber wielders soon. Lego's been teasing us with the extended hilt in animation for too long...
  3. Personally I welcome all the clankers I can get. Roger roger.
  4. Unfortunately we probably won't see Jabba's Palace again after the controversy last time.
  5. I vastly prefer the minifigs, for the most part I'm much more interested in minifigs than display pieces like that. I have to admit they were very hit-or-miss though, Revan, Yularen, and the Shadow ARF Trooper were the best ones in my opinion. TC-14 was okay although not particularly interesting, plus we eventually got U-3PO who's almost identical. Hoth Han didn't need to be a promo at all, he's already been in sets both before and after that release, and the First Order Assault Stormtrooper was way too similar to the one that was already in sets.
  6. Is that Black Widow on the bottom right? That's actually a pretty cool design, which set was she coming in again?
  7. Just because a minifig doesn't appeal to you personally that doesn't mean it's lazy or a wasted spot. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
  8. I'm surprised to hear that some people consider advent calendars army builders, I've always seen the troopers and stuff like that in them as just supplements more than anything.
  9. Agreed, like I said realistically the only thing keeping Deadpool out of sets is if Disney doesn't want him in any. There's no point arguing about whether he "can" appear or not since at the end of the day it's solely up to Disney and Lego.
  10. I mean, by that logic we shouldn't be seeing the Joker or even Darth Vader in any sets - arguably they're worse than Deadpool as his antics are usually portrayed in a comical manner. Let's not forget that he has been in a set before, sure that was before the movies but like you've said he's always been a very edgy character. Anyway, I don't see the point in discussing whether or not Deadpool could appear in a set or not, if Disney wants him to then he will and if not he won't, it's that simple. I'm kind of suspicious of the cancelled Deadpool set rumor, I've never heard of it until now and from what I've heard set numbers are permanently assigned to a set design, if it gets cancelled it just goes unused. Doctor Strange wouldn't have gotten it. Plus, I'd be really surprised if there was going to be a set with Deadpool so close to the movie's release, given how poorly the X-Men and Fantastic Four were treated before Disney bought Fox.
  11. From what's been said, sounds like we're not getting a minifig again this year... I really don't understand why Lego decided to drop that.
  12. We don't know anything about what's coming after this wave yet. Since there's no new movies coming out until 2022, next year will be a good time to focus on older content, though I wouldn't be surprised if the new season of The Mandalorian gets a few sets early next year.
  13. That would be cool, I like that design more than the Wolverine claws.
  14. Assuming a $0.10 price per piece, it's more like $35-$40.
  15. Nothing yet, technically we don't even know for sure Anakin and R2 are coming with the Interceptor even though it's obvious that they would.
  16. It sounds like there's a new deal with Hasbro, so if it's true that means Marvel and Star Wars are possible now.
  17. Yeah, it's funny how there's currently 33 different themes currently listed on the Lego Shop's website, not even counting duplicates like DC vs. Batman or Marvel vs. Spider-Man or things like Xtra or Power Functions, but a theme doesn't make it in the top 5 sellers for a year and suddenly that theme doesn't sell at all and is probably going to get cancelled.
  18. Ah yes, the good old "well the store that I go to has a bunch of this, so it must not sell at all!"...
  19. I wouldn't worry about that yet. There's not really any reason to believe that licensed CMFs are taking over - we only know of Wizarding World S2 and maybe MCU coming, the other themes being thrown around like Star Wars and Nintendo, or even Disney S3, are just possibilities, but nothing has been suggested about them actually getting CMFs anytime soon.
  20. Bowser and his castle actually look pretty good. Definitely not going to spend $100 on it though, I'd rather get a system version if they ever do one.
  21. The best idea I can think of for a Star Wars CMF would be to focus on the cartoons rather than the films. Clone Wars and Rebels still have a lot of characters missing, and Resistance has barely been touched at all. Even the majority of the Clone Wars minifigs have those ugly faces and could use an update. Easy opportunity to give us minifigs we probably won't see otherwise, and avoid redundancy while still providing recognizable characters like an updated Ahsoka or new versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan in their armor from the earlier seasons. (Although, if a redundant CMF can finally get Threepio a properly dual-molded leg, I won't complain)
  22. Yes, and it was also used for the Mandalorian himself and Phasma. Nowadays it seems like they use it as a placeholder head for "mysterious" characters than anything else.
  23. If I remember correctly, it's in between the size of the 2009 and 2015 ones rather than just a recolor.
  24. There's no Boga, a blurry image of the boxart leaked a while back and it was just the ship.
  25. The first time I saw it, I picked one up and it was one of the only two left. Haven't seen it since, although I haven't been in the Lego aisle for a few weeks for obvious reasons.
