  1. the spheres are in fact attached to the c beam it does serve its intended purpose very well but as for using it on other mocs that arent trial trucks youll have to look somewhere else
  2. can it be confirmed that this will be driven as in the wheels will turn by the m motor?
  3. if you want actual large track you could use regular technic liftarms to make the tracks and then a technic wheel with the rubber on to drive them, it wont have perfect traction compared to the tooth and links of the lego system but is quite alot bigger
  4. i have just seen the video and can attest this model is amazing i especially like the working disc brakes though the transmission still confuses me maybe an extra model to show us how it works? lastly the flat 6 engine seems dwarfed by the size of the model perhaps its time to move to the old 2 by 2 studded pistons?
  5. that last picture showing the seats, in the printout to the left that item with the turntable, what is it?
  6. i think that he has one motor to steer the front two axles and another to steer the back two axles and when he tries to drive straight the axles arent lined up correctly so either use one motor or connect them by an axle
  7. I just wondered if anyone else on this forum makes lego vacuum engines such as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r31Ks30OHrM a creation of my own
  8. ah so my prediction was correct short suspension arms with that awesome 2.4 length rack very useful item, so independent and trailing rear arm suspension not bad i suppose but a v4 engine? pretty skimpy to me to bad it didnt use the new cv joints
  9. i would think using string to lift those loads would break it and also how does he lower the arm does it just fall by weight?
  10. to me it seems that the front axle has a very limited pendular style suspension
  11. awesome blakbird i couldnt wait for 1996 to come out
  12. did he use the old u joints for the top of the windshield frame?
  13. 200 dollars U.S. thats pretty steep, how does this compare to the 8043 price? still is there any info on parts count??
  14. if you recall the new differentials have 4 tabs on one side like the old ones, it was rumored on tbs that it could mean a new driving ring for locking it so could this be a possibility?
  15. so for the three differentials will the center one be an old kind?
  16. yeah i thought this was gonna take the same spot as the race truck steering and drive independent suspension for sure maybe those short suspension arms from the 8858 set not much on functionality but sure looks nice i just looked again look at the headlights could it have pf lights??
  17. well the 8868 comes with 5 cylinders and a small pump plus motor and 2 differential but skimpy drivetrain only one function the compressor the 8110 should have 3 cylinders and a small pump plus motor and 3 differential and good drivetrain 3 functions and suspension sweet wheels and of course orange!
  18. well of course a person is going to buy the instructions and copy it and distribute it for free
  19. • New transmission block for additional ground clearance how do you think this would be done a totally custom part or using regular parts and will this use the new female cv joint?
  20. well this is supposed to focus on the pneumatics so yeah an m motor is more than enough to run a compressor winch and slewing
  21. you can operate the pneumatics or rotate the crane not both because the same motor drives the compressor and slews the turntable
  22. well the 8421 mobile crane had 1884 pieces and cost 150 dollars so you could easily squeeze in 200 more for less than 50 dollars. the only reason 8043 was so expensive was because of the remote control power functions
  23. On brickset it says this will have 2059 parts?!
