  1. unfortunantely that uses like 5 differentials and i dont have that many 0_0
  2. A cvt is a type of transmission that can produce an infinite amount of ratios between 2 set number such as 1 to 1 and 5 to 1 utilizing a cvt instead of those to set ratios you can have any in between such as 2 to 1 2.5 to 1 and so on I want to know if there are any types that are 1 not zblj design knock offs, 2 dont overuse differentials and 3 they have to be able to transmit real torque as in driving a moc and cant be some micro style belt design(i already tried and they rip themselves apart)
  3. i remember reading about this but on your tatra your shock abosrbers had a technic half bush on the rod part making the spring harder, how did you get the bush on there? btw i think you should switch your gears around because in low gear thats when the motor is using the most torque and is furthest away and axle twisting is most likely to happen but if in high gear it wont matter because the motor wont be making as much torque
  4. what? it looks like a front suspension system to me
  5. The superpacks over the last 2 years sets 66318 and 66359 both contained relatively good sized models that were sadely full manual control, so they were packaged with powerfunction systems and the small technic starter sets to motorize the set functions the large sets in the packs being 8259 red excavator and 8049 pneumatic tractor with trailer, both sets motorized helped treamendously with their play value, if they made a new super pack what sets would you want packaged in it?
  6. couldnt you just substitute 20 tooth double bevel gears for a smoother running axle?
  7. apparently nasa is retiring the space shuttle and making a new rocket so i could just see the clear beams being used with linear actuators in a scissor lift mechanism to raise a rocket with fiber optics that has technic style functions within as a possible flagship
  8. awesome now we will finally be able to rid ourselves of those bulky train speed regulators
  9. have you tried this http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2011/04/week-techvideo-2011-15-city-hunter.html
  10. How might the friction compare to the 8880 or 8865?
  11. please give us a review, detailed with many pictures
  12. Curse the measurement difference, i meant over 3 feet i think it was saying 2 motor and battery box, so the motor and battery box combined make 2
  13. im not sure i thing this will be like another 8880, great parts and ideas but poor exectuion, its steering is rediculously bad it takes over 3 meters to turn 180 degrees -_- i will be getting this set and playing with it i just think the drivetrain is bad, but the pneumatics are great
  14. as seen from the video the portal axle system must have huge friction because when conchas was turning the wheel it drived the transmission rather than the wheel directly across from it, i suppose it must be the wheel adapter, the grey piece that has the pin connections snaps into the light grey portal axle part the adaption must be super frictiony D: sucking more power from the motors, alas i think i will stick to the proven method of using the technic triangle pieces to create a portal axle
  15. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110518144108/lego/images/thumb/7/72/8110-1.jpg/478px-8110-1.jpg one can look at the wheels and obviously see axle holes, im confused now
  16. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5150/5580027056_af4baf6330_z.jpg would this fit?
  17. i do recall a sticker saying a/s if that is any help or on the flickr photos the man in the grey scarf
  18. when i first heard about the extreme cruiser set i thought for sure itd be a sexy water proof one piece chassis with a motor in it to be a cruiser on the waves
  19. forgive my wording it is indeed a pump and not a compressor as it pumps directly to the cylinder and not a intermediate like an airtank
  20. the motor power goes up thought the clutch extender pieces to 1x2 thin liftarms giving the cylinder 2 stud stroke and yeah the grey cylinder is the compressor
  21. I know this sounds really noobish but how do you take the 8880 wheels off the grey cv hubs? And can you do it with the car fully assembled? Thanks in advance
  22. i am dying to see a video of all its functions
  23. also that grey 7l halve beam can you explain why the last hole isnt complete? (sorry i dont know how else to say it)
