  1. No that's just speculation. If they announce it, we'll know. Now there's no real proof to think that.
  2. Especially with movies like Batman, Shazam 2, Flash or Aquaman. It can only get better.
  3. I just can't stop thinking of all the amazing minfigs we could get with comic based CMF, for example Defenders (including Daredevil), Punisher, Fantastic Four or X-Men. But on the other hand MCU series would be at the same level of being incredible. Endgame Cap, Thor, Rocket or Captain Marvel, Homemade and Upgraded Spider-Man, accurate Wasp, Thanos, Ronin or Infinity War Scarlet Witch, the possibilities are endless. But you know what minfigure could appear in both? Stan Lee. It's a perfect opportunity to include him, even as a chase figure (1 per 1 box). If they don't include him I will be really dissatisfied.
  4. Yeah, Captain Nemo is right. Discussion with people like this are pointless. We all know that DC is not dying.
  5. I'm not sure if they'll ever release the Collector, he wears only one costume in MCU, and that costume was already done for Comic-Con. I would much rather get Symbiote Spider-Man, as he's also only available as a Comic-Con minifig. We don't know that tho.
  6. Ok you've got a point, you're right. But the head is still a valid point.
  7. First of all, this theme is not dying. We just got a fantastic CMF series, and an amazing WW84 set. The thing with DC compared to Marvel are movies. Zack Snyder's DCEU is no more, and DC needed to find a way. So we got great Aquaman, fantastic Shazam, incredible Joker and good Birds of Prey. But Lego did only one set for only one of those movies - because 2 of them are R-rated, and no one is still sure why they didn't make sets for Shazam. But DC actually has a plan for next few years, with a LOT of set opportunities. We've got THE BATMAN MOVIE, this is gonna be a golden egg. Suicide Squad is R-rated. Then we've got Black Adam with lots of superheroes (Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate). Next is Shazam 2, which I believe they will make sets for. After that there's FLASH movie, no way they are not gonna make sets based on this. And last but not least, Aquaman 2 (the first movie made more than 1B). You don't understand something - A THEME DOESN'T NEED TO BE IN TOP SELLING THEMES OR GET AN HONORABLE MENTION to perform good. Those themes are top-tier themes, the best of the best. Doesn't mean that others that don't get mentioned didn't perform good. Sets not selling in your Target mean nothing. You know there are lots of stores in the world, right? Maybe it's your area that's the problem, not the sets. In 2019 they did a weird thing - they gave both Marvel and DC their own sublines, Spider-Man and Batman respectively. Next to them there were movie based sets. After Endgame's sets success, Lego brought back regular Marvel line with this year's Avengers sets, but they still produce Spider-Man sets. If (for example) Shazam 2, Flash and Aquaman 2 sets are gonna perform extremely well, they are gonna bring back the Justic League line. Simple. Also, remember that this thread is for civilised people. If you're gonna name call people, you will get a ban.
  8. If we are getting Marvel CMF next year, that would be a perfect opportunity for Daredevil minifig, maybe even Punisher too.
  9. And the other way, CMF started reusing set parts. For example Aquaman from DC CMF uses head and hair from a set that released 1 year before the CMF.
  10. You know that themes that aren't in the best selling themes of the year can still perform good, right?
  11. Don't forget the Robin with middle legs
  12. Promobricks.de: "To our knowledge, the Wonder Woman set should be available a few weeks earlier at LEGO (from April 27th). We do not know whether it will stay at this date (the film has already been postponed)."(promobricks.de) Stonewars.de: "The set is scheduled for release in June 2020 [...]" Geekculture.com: "Unfortunately, availability for the LEGO set has yet to be announced." Brothers-brick.com: "[...] availability is unknown at this time." I also found only 2 retailers which have a release date for this set - both of them is May 2nd (molemole.com and livro.pl). So the only site that actually says it's June is stonewars. Spanish Amazon (which leaked the set) also didn't have the release date for this set. So which "every single news outlet" are you referring to? Sets aren't available in stores two months prior to its release dates. A month for sure, but not two months.
  13. I really hope the Diagon Alley D2C will be just 5 separate builds that look fantastic on their own, with a function of connecting them. It would be really cool to have expansions to this set, because sets like Gringotts, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes or Borgin and Burkes could really stand on their own. I think they will choose Ollivanders, Flourish and Blotts, The Leaky Cauldron, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and Gringotts, but I would love to see a standalone Gringotts set from Deathly Hallows Part 1.
  14. I don't think a single June set would have official pictures revealed this early and already be in stores. We don't even have images for all the other sets. I think it's basically a confirmation of this being a May set.
  15. You mean WW84 set right? Well, various retailers say it's May. I guess we'll just have to wait.
  16. WW84 set is almost definitely May tho (if they delayed it then it's June). But yeah, June set images start to surface. In a few weeks time we will definitely have seen those
  17. This. Something this eye-catching will always have your attention, and it's actually easier for a parent. For example Jurassic World - "Mom I want a set with a T-Rex" - boom, you've got a giant T-Rex on the box art. "Dad I want a set with Iron Man" - boom, a giant Iron Man on the box. "Mom I want a set with green ninja" - boom, giant Lloyd on the box art.
  18. While it's undoubtedly less practical than a classic box, people would adapt to those boxes. If a kid wants a specific set, then: A) Parent searches for the set on the internet, finds the box art for this specific set and that's all. B) Kid tells from what theme the set is and how big it is, parent goes to store and looks for the set from specific theme area, it's not that hard.
  19. That wasn't a personal attack on you, it was just an example that stuck into my head. People don't get the fact that there's back of the box. This box art looks stunning AND is MUCH better for display. Normal boxes don't look amazing when displaying the sets with them. This one will look stunning when displayed with the set. And if you want to see the content, you just turn around the box. Not that hard.
  20. On ninjawhip's account there's a picture from above, you know, aerial view. It shows like a round grey platform in the inside (8 studs wide). It also shows that there's a rotation mechanism for the radar dish.
  21. No one is attacking anyone. Some people like it and some don't. Some want this box concept to be spread over various themes, and some want the boxes to stay the old school way. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  22. If that's the direction they're going with super heroes sets, adults will be delighted with those. I really hope that's what they're doing.
  23. There were actually rumours of it releasing in August (I think it was something like retailers get it in August, and official Lego shops in September). So yeah, explains a little why it leaked so early. It's and August set at RETAILERS, which leak a lot of Lego sets. The one that leaked it failed so hard
  24. June. All of them except D2C and CMF. First it was said that it doesn't connect to Hogwarts, but then the statement was changed and it actually does connect to Hogwarts (that's the current info, there's still a chance it won't).
  25. I think they could pull it off really well with that comicbook cover vibe, especially with Avengers sets.
