  1. Ah, yes, whatever happened to Seyn Marana... Wait, he? she? wasn't in the game, right? But if it wasn't for the torso, this one could be any one of them, just a generic face, although it's under helmet anyways so who cares really...
  2. Can you share? (not in public ofc..) That build in the Bp looks quite bad though.. In another topic, what is that build in the praetorian pack supposed to be? A throne room detail?
  3. what a waste of perfectly fine stromtrooper minifigs
  4. my god these pictures are creepy AF
  5. Not at all, they almost never include full sets of anything, they want you to buy other sets as well. This would be pretty much just an extension pack for the crappy throne room set, would make total sense to me. I wouldn't be happy, but you can't argue with their logic.
  6. Oh they have a reason...saving a few pennies...or just not caring, since fans will buy anything anyway.
  7. damn, that praetorian BP is definitely a want, if it really includes all 3 types (I haven't seen evidence of the 3rd one yet). Bit of a shame that they don't have skirts, but that is a killer combo anyway with another stormie. Do we know what the build will be?
  8. You mean the fact that the helmet's back end higher than the back of the head? Because as far as I know that's actually pretty much screen accurate, no?
  9. Looks good, but...I don't know if this has a future man...Lucasfilm is not great at supporting fan media projects, I can see this getting shot down faster than a green-skinned bounty hunter in a shady cantina.
  10. yeah, that's pretty much a taste question, I saw that most people like it, I just can't see past the very inaccurate form. After the UCS-version it's not easy to get impressed though.
  11. Definitely hard to get it right, but they clearly just went to the proven way (a-la Death Star). If they just wanted to go towards a playset, they could've just included a bunch of connectable rooms, that might've looked more consistent on their own, and leave the option to organize them any way you want. This is just an inconsistent slab of different colored bricks. There are small details that look cool, but in one piece it really bad looking. The vehicles are wrong too, the cloud car in color, the Slave-I in form.
  12. effective little display again, but the more I look at the second picture of the Obi minifig's calm face staring down the dismembered Anakin, the more creepy it seems :D
  13. It's a shame, as the figure of speech to signify that I'm disappointed that they get released AS polybags, whereas -to me personally- it would be preferable if they decided to release them as larger scale..sheesh, take it easy ey?
  14. Well, that's the only thing I can think of too, and it's a shame that these get wasted for polybags, but it looks like they are releasing yet another few ships in larger scales, that get re-released constantly every few years...
  15. That would be nice, but unfortunately not the case. What I meant by this, is for example the Sith infiltrator which is listed as a 10$ set, so seems to be a microfighter, although a nice update with the right minifigs would certainly appeal to me personally. I don't know what to make of these 4$ offerings, like anakin's podracer? I see the set number is different, but what does that mean? I haven't seen a LEGO costing this little, even minifig polybags sell for more.
  16. At that price point it's more than likely to be a "ucs"-style (meaning with sticker) character figure- like BB-8 or the porg IMHO...I can't imagine a 120$ proper UCS set, they are moving constantly upwards with the prices. Pretty underwhelming according to this list though, all the most interesting sets are small...
  17. That's a pretty promising report on the table. I guess you could just put in a few small rubber pieces on the sides to fix the drooping. The thing that bothers me now that I look at it again is those holes in the side doors. Kind of defeats the purpose for me...
  18. ah yes, company firewall blocks dropbox...that's why
  19. Nice little scene, like usual Not a fan of the amorph base though.
  20. Maybe it's just my setup, but it shows a broken embed only...
  21. Your picture is not showing..
  22. That's one thing that won't happen, since clearly with these sets, displayability is a very low priority.. Well, yes, if you don't look at the two most important features of the set (looks, price), but somehow I can't not look at that as an AFOL Minifigs, sure are nice, but the whole thing is not for display. And to me, to justify why my living room looks like a very lucky kid's room, the most important is to at least look good from the outside Haven't really looked at the show yet, but its visuals are just revolting to me, even though I hated how Rebels looked, I have to admit that was a masterpiece compared to this... I can't fathom why they push this anime-style so much, especially with this horrible computer-generated, weightless paper-maché animation... One thing that caught my attention though, is that they apparently showed T-85 X-wings, and a FO TIE-interceptor, in red, just for good measure... Interesting though that the new films are so lacking in new ships - which wouldn't be a problem if it was much better story-wise - that Disney has to keep retconning new designs in their tie-in content. (pun intended)
  23. Definitely agreed on this, I would collect both too, if I had the monay...(and if my wife wouldn't kill me :D)
  24. oh great, a Canto Bight set...hooray! Those anniversary sets are suspiciously small to me. The 2 Slave-I-s are fishy too, in one year, after the CC release, and while the UCS version is still on sale? (no sign of retirement yet as far as I'm aware...) That would mean there will be 4 different versions of the same ship on sale at the same time...seems excessive. (Sure, might be Jango's ship as well but still....) Or just the Fett movie is really canceled, and they are trying to roll these out as soon as possible...but that doesn't make much more sense either. Another snowspeeder seems illogical too, especially since the UCS one apparently didn't sell that well, if they're already retiring it soon...
  25. This table really got to me, unfortunately I relatively recently got a new coffee table, but size would be perfect for me, and it could fit the Snowspeeder and the Y-wing at the same time..too bad the inner size is not specified but I think it should be taller than 18 cm...but definitely not enough for the Y-wing on the stand, which is already 24 cm... But for the price...I might even consider it for a Cantina display...
