1. Hello everyone! I'm coming back to you after 11 months with the next model. This time it is a combination of technic and model-team. It is a combine harvester Claas Lexion 760 The model has 13 engines. It is made of about 4500 parts. Claas Lexion 760 is one of the biggest combine harvesters. So it was something to work. Below is a picture of the original for comparison. The model that was built to be a carbon copy of the real devices. The model is a 1:17 scale. Drive and turning Combine is driven by a motor with a gear ratio of 1: 7. The engine is doing well to feed the model with a weight of 5.8 kg. The rear axle turns the engine medium with 1:12 ratio. Above the wheels are rollers which help the wheels were in a vertical Mechanisms The header is lifted by the XL motor and two large linear actuators. Heder is powered by two M size engines and shaft. Pulleys located under the side covers, and wind at the top are powered by the XL and M engines. Forage the rear of the vehicle is supported by the two M engines. One lifts on the mechanism and the second feeds function. Forage works only in the lower position. The elevator rises by two M engines and two smal linear actuators. Auger put forward by one M motor. 2. Outstanding model! It was necessary to cover the mechanisms of an excavator arm :)
3. Hi. I would like to present the model that I have already built a two months ago in the competition organized by LUGPol. It is a combination cab from the official set of 42043, chassis 4x4 and speed drill based on machines Vaderstad Engines and functions: Drive - XL motor Control - medium engine Transmission - motor medium Lifting the drill - medium engine and video :)
4. You're right, but only half. In fact, Claas use portal axles because the reduction in the drive is located in the hub (planetary hub reduction) or inside the axle. Bricks at this scale does not allow such a solution. :)
5. if someone is more convenient to browse Flickr I add a link to my gallery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/eric_trax/
6. Only weels are painted. Dishes don't look good :)
7. For a long time I published nothing so little time to dust off this topic: D The model on which I worked for 12 months is harvester Claas Jaguar 900. In a nutshell, the machine is designed to collect and chop corn. Chopped material goes onto the trailer and then to the silo where it gets feed for cows :D After the model I wanted to build another Holmer complex machine. Long wondered about the choice but in the end I decided to build Claas Jaguar 980. As it turned out it was impossible to model its shape nicely so I changed it to a model 900 Drive and steering: The model is powered by a four-wheel-PF XL motor. Of course, in the middle there are three differentials, one for each axis and between axes. Ratio is about 1: 9. XL engine copes remarkably well with the whole model, even with the attachment. I had to use tricks Unimog tires Tyre Power Puller after raising camper at almost 80% of the weight rests on the front axle. Unfortunately, I do not know the weight so I do not know how much it weighs a model, but I estimate about 4,5-5kg. Twisting model is done using controlled rear axle which is equipped with a transverse cradle like a real machine. The suspension works very well and the model overcomes obstacles easily height of 1.5 to 2 studs. Mechanisms: The whole model has nine motors, apart from the functions used to drive, the lifting attachment, driving the camper, cut side units, controlling the of the outlet pipe in two directions. At first it seemed to me that to fit it all going to be easy but with each engine was worse. The biggest problem that created the IR receivers are located in the rear of the machine. Lifting attachment is via the engine medium and two linear actuators. For the operation of the outlet pipe also responsible two medium motors. The mechanism driving the starter motor turn comes from Holmer and is adapted to the amount of space in forage harvester. In simple. The worm moving medium that drives the z24 and switch. This is blocked on one side. Flickr gallery: https://www.flickr.c...otos/eric_trax/ At the end of the video showing the model :) Thanks for watching and comments :)
8. Thanks, guys. It's nice to read so many positive reviews especially this is relaxation MOC :) The tires are stretched on Lego parts that give them the shape. Inside there are only three elements.
9. I went through filming and taking pictures so time for a topic :) History prototype Ursus C- 360 -3P is the average farm tractor produced in the years 1981 to 1993 on the domestic market , and until 1995 to externel markets Ursus Mechanical Works in Warsaw. The main difference between tractors Ursus C- 360 and C - 360 -3P consisted in the installation of the Ursus C- 360 -3P engine MF PERKINS - AD3.152UR having three cylinders and power of 47.5 hp ( C - 360 had 52 hp) . This engine is characterized by a lower fuel consumption, reduced noise and lower exhaust gas smokiness . In the first copies of the original engines were mounted manufactured in the UK, which stand out applied them inch screws in the system . Engines British production showed a longer life than those produced in the country. Also the clutch discs were different from those installed in Ursusach C - 360 , and clutch shafts , which had to be slightly longer . Ursus C- 360 -3P despite the passage of years, it is still very highly regarded tractor in the Polish countryside . For a long time it was for me to create an agricultural tractor, which would be fully remote controlled. The choice fell on Ursus C360. As a group of thirty persons is a piece of Polish agricultural engineering. Through its proportions allow it to build PFach. In addition, I wanted to use tensioned wheels PP have previously been mentioned in one of the topics in the section technic. Not all mechanical assumptions failed to realize that despite the appearance of the model exceeded my initial expectations so I put it here. Drive: Tractor is driven by a motor XL ratio 1:12.6 on wheels. It consists of a new type of differential and two pairs of sprockets Z8 and Z24 on the page. This gives a very good power and speed really looking very carefully so that you can control the machine. In addition, the power transmitted to the wheels allows you to drag a really large objects (eg a chair across the floor of the panels). It is like a side effect of not less gear used is also very great advantage of the model. Turning: Here, primary idea was putting the real look and feel of the steering system. I think I managed to do quite nicely. Unfortunately, it was necessary to remove the swinging bridge. This generates a very large joint clearances, which translated into machine control. After that the model turns very well. Turning radius is dedicated to a very real. It was necessary to apply z12 gear that rubbing of the inner front wheel lipping rozjeżdżaniu prevent the front wheels. Honestly, that overcoming this effect spędzało me awake at night. The idea quite simple and at the same time giving satisfactory results and not throwing too much in the eyes. Move a pull mechanism itself managed to hide the left side of the cab. This is a simple translation of the screw mounted on the motor shaft which moves the pull rod and also single rack running along the front of the engine. Mechanisms : There are not a lot but failed to give the two most important . Three-point suspension system is controlled by a motor M placed at the back of the mask which passes through cardans drive small screw actuator . The chip itself is a mechanical reflection of the original. It does not look like a typical model , however, the team won the functionality here . Usage of technic allowed for considerable strengthening of the system. As its size increases the really large items such as plow used for presentations and much heavier . In addition to the assumptions included in the construction of the PTO . He had to be switched from the cab but the lack of space forced me to lead the drive directly from the differential because running all the time . This unfortunately minus . But his speed is adequate, and it looks pretty cool . Problems, problems ... Would the space required to accommodate the elements . The problem was to put the battery in the front of the mask , which took half the available space. It forced me to move one of the towers PF motor and steering into the cabin. However, enough space for another tower PF and engine control linkage . And of course, a short video: Of course, I'm waiting for your opinions :)
10. Thanks for all the comments :) The network is available some photos of this machine. In addition, also helped the brochures from the manufacturer. Highly doubt it. Building plans for this MOC would take a very long time. I have these pictures, but if you are interested in specific things write I will try to do a few more. (Note high resolution) and I found some pictures of the WIP project:
11. How much can you build a model? Finally, after 16 months (sic) I can show been working on for over a year. Holmer Terra Dos T3, because of him just mentioned is one of the most advanced agricultural machines created by man. Countless of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical steel wrapped around a big red lump. Incredible machine and doing a great impression especially live. It all started three years ago when I wanted to build Ropa Euro Tiger, but it was soon after my return to the blocks and little that my arsenal of Lego was quite poor, that I did not have the proper knowledge to the construction, so the project died. Several months later, after the construction of Bizon Z056 started this model. I thought Bizon has set limits of my patience. But now I can honestly say that Holmer moved them about the whole hectares on :) For things. By the complexity of the colossus weighing nearly 6 kg construction dragged on to the limit. If it was clean Technic probably end up a lot faster. However, I have chosen a goal that was the best possible dedicated and working Model Team. Drive: At the beginning I was hoping that just enough one engine XL , because the model had to weigh 3.5 kg , however, it soon became apparent that if I wanted to Holmer move smoothly even when the ratio 1:12.6 need to throw in another engine. The rear axle drive is located in the backside of the machine tool and the front advancing the rollers inside the machine beets . With this theme , I struggled a little bit but it was the only optimal place that allowed to apply final drives and differential on the front axle . A combine harvester Weight is another major problem when it comes to the drive. The first problem was the torsion rear axle to which it was necessary to design a new final drives ( reworked design Mistekesa ) , which allowed to apply differential in the rear axle and keep the required scale of the width of the combine. The necessary because the roller bearing wheels on the front axle falls 2.4 kg and 3.5 kg for the rear . Here was a necessary need another idea . The point , of course, the wheel PP and their capacity. Normally, about 1 kg does impressions on them but more than 2 kg removes the tire from the rim , so to cure the rear tires had to push the tires of Unimog inside. Turning: The turn is carried out in several ways. Rear axle, bolted using a worm gear driven medium. This set is quite strong and can cope with the weight of the machine but generates quite a lot of backlash to the speed at which the machine moves are relatively small problem. The front axle is rigid but right behind her Holmer breaks through two small linear actuators driven medium. This works great and the speed is adjusted accordingly so that the engine does not have a problem with the change of the direction of travel of the combine. These two functions are independent of course hence the turning radius is about 1.3 m, and in addition the machine can move so. "Dog walk" which in practice means that the rear wheels do not move the tracks of the front wheels and combine like going from a slant. Mechanisms : Those in the model is a lot, can be divided into two groups: the cleaning section and unloading. To the first belong the spinning roller scraper beets to the throat , driven medium placed under the front axle , in principle, to this day I do not know what a miracle . Another who invent and build it took me half a year the cleaning turbines. None of the concept did not seem satisfactorily until the appearance of this . Each of them consists of 65 items and is probably the best dedicated part of the whole model. All are powered by a built- in medium frame with belts in accordance with the movement of the stars in the original. For elevator drive running around the reservoir responsible for the transport of beets into it. It consists of approximately 100 pieces and is driven together with the worm ; XL motor placed in the backside of the machine. The drive itself is guided to the sprocket drive shaft above the tank , which move the elevator. The next two mechanisms that raise and lower dischage elevator . Behind this activity is responsible for working medium with gear and toothed rack . This works very nicely and is virtually invisible, what I cared about . The tape drive motor is realized in the medium located in the backside . Tapes are connected by transmission and work at one time. Finally , the mechanism of the switch that turns the entire machine in time " digging " . Switch switches the motor on medium with ratchet . Also located in the rear of the machine Pictures: Gallery: Brickshelf: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=537787 Flickr: http://www.flickr.co...otos/eric_trax/ Well, the movie. It seems to me that the model deserves a better movie but no I'm not a movie director and went like this:
12. Thanks for all comments. I tried as best I could because I have a fondness for this machine, is just so beautiful deserves to be a unique model :) I will begin the next MOC...
13. I can do it :) Thanks for the comments
14. Hello, I would like you to introduce my new MOC, model of a harvester BIZON Z056 Super. I built it for 7 months, cost me a lot of patience... But i love him :) Photo real machine: Functions: MOC have a lot of functions, full drive control of course; working treshing drum, cleaning stuff pulleys and strawwalker; multifunctional grain header, two pairs of led light. Details of the power functions: Drive - XL Motor 9:1 Turning - Medium Motor Grain header - Medium motor Mechanisms - XL Motor Grain Header has a separate drive because of its creates high resistance. Feeding auger and reel are large and heavy items, but working looks insanely. The appearance Power puller weels unfortunetly are to wide but best fit to the scale. Another problem caused unloading auger. In 1:15 scale should have a 2,5 stud diameter. So I used Red Wheel 30.4 x 14 and covered with a red foil. I did not have a better idea... I tried to go well scale and I think it's ok. Bizon has a lot of details such as, ladder, battery, fire extinguishers, barriers, piston engine, cabin equipment, air filter and lights. I like most about the trailer Photos and movie. Movie (unfortunetly varying quality) :)
15. But she isn't speed :( Do you tried to improve drive? Gears and lift reduce the efficiency of propeller unfortunetly
16. Hi! I started a project related to studies. If it reaches a high score will I be exempt from the exam, but first I need to get the right amount of grants :) So, I needs your help! Click on the link below and my transport company will receive additional points and will win an exemption from the exam :) I am counting on your help and thanks for all the clicks :) I am counting on your help and thanks for all the clicks :)
17. I have the same camera :D I tried to do something similar but without twin wheels so my camera was bounced on bumps :/ BTW I try this solution in my next project:)
18. I'm impressed with the driveability of the vehicle! Very fast and perfectly twisting. Outstanding shot while driving, what you used to shoot this scene?
19. This was necessary because the axles it`s too weak for that weight and tires Finally the other trucks look like toys to KRAZ :P
20. The effect of surprise is half the success in MOC presentation :) sameone started from something :) remember, brick by brick...
21. throw it out the window :P Unfortunately, KRAZ is already disposed, so I can`t upload more photos :/ Each suggestion is valuable :) It`s true KRAZ would be lighter but lost to the beauty and thats my intent. My next project is a secret, but I will appear it to Christmas :)
22. I put a tarp for preety look :) Originally supposed to be khaki but the package of material did not come on time :/ Under tarp Kraz look same at prototype :) Only frame, cables and motors.
