  1. What I hope is that they give a lot of variety to the mini figures. For example, don't put Harry in EVERY SINGLE set and give room for some other cool characters. Also, if characters like Harry, Ron, and Hermione do appear in multiple sets, give them some variety, rather than the same old Gryffindor uniforms. It would be awesome if they made them look different based off of the movie, just like they do with Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars sets, like changing up the hair or something.
  2. Nah, they wouldn't do it like that. If they were to do it, it would either be molded like the Indomious Rex, or brick-built like they do with the big Ninjago snakes. That set would have a lot of potential!!
  3. If they are going to do a wave of about 6 to 7 sets and a collectible minifig series, then that will pretty much touch upon all the characters that we know and care about. These sets are the most likely ones that they will produce for a first wave, give or take a few: Dobby's Release - Harry Potter, Dobby, Lucius Malfoy Knight Bus - Harry Potter, Stan Shunpike, Sirius Black Second Task - Harry, Cho, Krum, Merperson Chamber of Secrets - Harry, Ginny, Lockhart, Tom Riddle Dragon Challenge - Harry, Cedric, Mad- Eye Hogwarts Express - Harry, Ron, Draco, Lupin, Dementor Hagrid's Hut - Hagrid, Hermione, Ron, Grawp Hogwarts Castle - Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, Voldemort, Bellatrix, Harry, Hermione, Luna, Neville Whatever sets they don't make off this list, the minifigs would be in the collectible series. If this list doesn't have the theme's reasonable starters, then I have no clue what they'll do! I could definitely see The Burrow, Gringotts, or Grimmauld Place happening as well, but I don't think that's likely in the first wave.
  4. Completely agreed. They should definitely add some more detail into differentiating the characters by years, and also create some new designs. Quite frankly, I think Hermione with the light brown hair looked great, and when they redo Harry, he should have more of the dark dark brown rather than black. The uniforms need updating as well. The girls should have different uniforms than the boys, and so on. I hope they really do some cool stuff this wave and don't screw it up. Lego needs to understand that no matter what they do, people will buy it because it's HARRY POTTER, the second biggest franchise next to Star Wars!!!
  5. If they do normal sets, I assume we'll get all the classic figures in those, such as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape, etc. and they'll do the interesting characters in the Collectible Minifig Series. We'd probably get these characters: - Defense Against the Dark Arts Teachers - The Triwizard Champions - Death Eaters - Order of the Phoenix - Harry, Ron, Hermione Variants (Quidditch or Yule Ball?) - Dobby and Griphook
  6. If they aren't giving a wave, I can truly see just Hogwarts. Something similar to the Disney Castle, with many more minifies.
  7. Although we still have a year to go, we'll probably get some more info come January/February, based off of release info in the past. I am beyond excited that this theme will be coming back in some form! Since the last time this theme came around was 2010, these sets should look pretty sick this time around!!! They usually do 7 sets a wave and do stuff that covers the most from the series, so here would be my dream wave that I think would be pretty awesome for a re-release: - Lake Task (similar to the new Aquaman set) - Knight Bus - Hagrid's Hut (with Aragog or Grawp) - Dragon Task OR Chamber of Secrets (with Hungarian Horntail or buildable Basilisk) - Hogwarts Express with Flying Car (similar to the 2010 version) - Hogwarts Castle (Just a larger great hall and big tower rather than multiple minuscule classrooms) A whole wave would be awesome, plus any notable characters that don't fit in that series of sets would just be added into the Collectible Minifig series, like the Order of the Phoenix, Defense Against the Darks Teachers, etc. This is great news, and if its not a whole series, hopefully its just a UCS Hogwarts!!!!
  8. @badgerboy let's just say I know a guy ?
  9. @Lobot no piece count, but the cover of the box looks similar to the UCS slave 1
  10. So I only saw the front cover of the box. I have no clue what minifigs are in the set, but I noticed a few things. The cockpit is no longer brick built, but seems to be a new molded area. Also, the radar dish has a new build as well. The whole falcon looks highly detailed with a lot of little pieces in light grey, dark grey, and dark red to really bring out that junky look of the millennium falcon. It looks a bit smoother as well without as many studs as the original. I have no clue if there is an interior yet. There you go!
  11. Saw the falcon. Looks like a definitely updated version than the previous. Unlike the Death Star remake, it is definitely not the same model as before!
  12. Quick question, is there a new thread for 2018 yet?
  13. From an inside source: According to the popularity of sets like the Bounty Hunter Battle pack, Lego will most likely be releasing packs that are more or so "Character" packs than battle packs, with more actual characters rather than just the standard trooper variants. Minifigures are a huge selling point with Lego, so I think if they move forth with this idea, it will definitely be a hit.
  14. Im gonna guess that list is true. They are pretty reasonable sets and it looks quite similar to everything we've seen before. For example: Winter 2016 - 4 battlepacks, 3 buildables, 4 micro fighters, 8 sets Winter 2017 - 2 battlepacks, 3 buildables, 4 micro fighters, 8 sets Winter 2018 - 4 battlepacks, 3 buildables, possibly 4 BRICKHEADZ, 7 sets Therefore, I believe the list is pretty reliable!
  15. Is there a forum for the 2018 rumors yet? Heard some stuff...
  16. Here's a couple guesses of what I could definitely see coming out next year (apart from Last Jedi), based on Lego's release trends from the past: - Inferno Squadron BP - Clone Trooper BP - Ewok Attack - V-Wing - ARC-170 - TIE Variant (Fighter, Bomber, or Interceptor) - Rebel Alliance X-Wing - B-Wing - Vulture Droid
  17. So is this the lineup as of now? - Snoke (Buildable) - Luke (Buildable) - ? (Buildable) - UCS BB-8 - UCS Millennium Falcon - ? - ? - ? - ? - Resistance Bomber - First Order Heavy Assault Walker - First Order Star Destroyer
  18. So any ideas what the buildable figures are? If the Snoke rumor is true, that would be amazing, so I can have him bigger in his chair compared to Kylo Ren!
  19. Hopefully the snoke figure looks better close up...
  20. This is looking like a great summer!! Hopefully when we get better images, we can see if Jango and Obi-Wan are updated. Overall, an amazing set that was long-awaited for (ever since 2002 to be exact!!). It does stink that a Jango Slave 1 is probably not coming soon because they are included in the set... Instead of Jango and Boba, they could've FINALLY gave us Taun-We and a Clone Trooper! But, whatever, its a first day pickup for me!
  21. Can anyone who's seen the last Jedi sets give some sort of description of what they've seen?
  22. Are they sets valid rumors or is everyone just speculating all of this from the trailer?
  23. Anyone have a link to the direction booklet? Much appreciated!!
  24. Did anyone ever speculate that the May the 4th minifigure would be that Bespin Lando that everyone thought was fake??
  25. Hopefully they updated IG-88 though with a more shaped head to the kind seen in the films.
