New Pascal looks awful! Is this it for Disney sets this year? Or will there be more in the fall do we think?

Hey all! I’ve been working on my first comic book series and also my first horror Lego-related production. I’m a huge fan of the scream movies, but this Comic is a different entity to them. Although there’ll definitely be some homeages and possible references to them. This story is loosely based on the Lego Friends characters, so the likes of Stephanie, Mia and so on will appear, but I won’t be using mini dolls. They’ll be minifigures, but some of the sets/locations will appear. Anyway, here’s the plot of the series: ’Something terrible is brewing in Heartlake; the teenagers of Heartlake High are being stalked by a masked murderer who taunts his victims over the phone before dishing the deadly blow. This is my first Comic strip, so I have no experience with creating Lego movies and such. But I hope you guys will enjoy my story anyway. Let me know what you think?

Really? I assumed with Voldemort being in the hogwarts set that they'd make the wave 1-4 like the games?

Did people think we wouldn't get a Snoke throne room set?

Seen as the sets are years 1-4; I'm hoping they focus more on a Goblet of Fire scenery for the Great Hall. I think the whole tournament is a great way to get some extra figures. That's how I hope they'll do this - the likes of Cedric, Fleur, Krum, Madam Maxine, a new Mad-Eye Moody, Cho Chang and so on could really work with a Hogwarts based on 1-4. Plus there's room for Quirrel and Lockhart too in there. I don't see Lego making a minifigure of Richard Harris' Dumbledore at all. I know some people loved him, but he just wasn't as iconic as Gambon's Dumbledore (sorry, Harris fans). I think we'll definitely get the updated bear-piece for him and hopefully a new hairpiece. I think the likes of Hermione need a major overhaul. One of the things I disliked about the 2010 waves were that the minifigures were so mixed; some were fantastic and others were just extremely lazy rehashes. For example; Bellatrix is one of the HP theme's best minifigures in my opinion. I'd go as far as saying that when the time comes, I honestly don't think she'll need any updates because they captured her likeness so well. McGonagall was also great, her face and outfit were perfect for the earlier movies. However, the likes of Dumbledore, Filch and Lucius suffer badly because of the clunky, dated hairpiece they were given destroyed the potential of great minifigures. I also think the Hermione minifigure needs a major overhaul as Lego seem to be making the same mistakes with her even now - the hairpiece just isn't her and the face doesn't even do the character justice. I'll welcome this theme with open arms as a huge Potter fan, but I really hope these figures get the updates they deserve. Oh and I want a new Buckbeak and Fawkes!! :D

I think it's legit myself. I don't see why people are finding it hard to believe; the Throne room especially is one that I expected?

So many sets I want this year! All of the Han Solo sets ( I mean all of them), the new Cantina, Yoda's hut, Ki Adi Mundi's set, the new X-Wing and the new sandcrawler. Although I do hope they start pushing out more PT & OT original sets soon. They've covered so much and sure, a lot of them need upgrades; but there's a lot of fresh sets they could cover that still haven't been touched upon. Especially in the Prequel Trilogy - popular or not, these movies are part of the franchise and deserve the recognition. I can name so many sets I'd love to see from these movies and yet Lego keep shoving out remakes of older sets.

I would like a UCS edition of Snoke's Supremacy. I think there's so much they can add to a set like that, but I think a standard Lego set would be too small to pack it all in.

Any news on whether The Defense of Crait can be bought in the UK lego shops yet? Also are Zavvi known for sending stuff early? They have a pre-order for the Crait set but I was wondering whether or not they actually had it in stock or not because most people online are saying they've got the set already?

Saw the movie! It's incredible. Definitely in my top 3 Star Wars movies! But I'm here to talk about sets! I've literally decided after how amazing it was to just get them all. Although I have to be cautious with buying sets as my other half has decided she wants to get me some for christmas, without actually telling me. I'll be patient and wait. Although I'm eyeing up the set with Finn & Rose at the moment as I don't think anyone will get me that one. Shall I buy...or wait until after Christmas? What do you guys think? :P

@joanfihu I have bought your customs haha! They're amazing! Hopefully you'll be able to develop more soon as I'd definitely buy them :) I'm glad majority agree about Padme. Her lack of appearances in lego form has always bothered me somehow; she was MORE noticeable than all the Jedi extras in the prequel trilogy @Praetorian_Guard great additions!

Gonna do a mini-review for these. I'm excited for this particular wave more than previous ones. Seems quite diverse and I like that! Mulan Set I like it! Mulan hasn't had a proper representation in lego form and I think this is a cute set to pick up. I will get it. Frozen set Meh! I love Frozen but the set's a bit pointless. I like Elsa's new expression so I'll definitely pick it up just for that. I like Olaf's little umbrella too. Little Mermaid set My first reaction to this was "another little mermaid set?" I mean...aside from King Triton more or less every thing has been covered from TLM in Lego form. However, I think this is a really nice set and it's nice to have a new variation of Eric. Sleeping Beauty set It's okay. I can't see what's going on inside, so it's difficult to judge right now. I think the castle should have been bigger, around the size of Cinderella's as this is a "Sleeping Beauty CASTLE", it looks more like a tower here. Merryweather looks fantastic and Aurora's new face looks great too. Maleficent looks hideous, but that's probably my personal preference for the minifig version. I'll still buy! Cinderella set When I thought this was based on her actual Castle, I thought it looked awful. However, now that I can see it's more like Tremaine Manor, I'm all in! The theming looks fantastic for Lady Tremaine's home and the mice included look so cute. I wish we'd actually gotten Lady Tremaine and possibly the step-sisters with the set too, but I won't complain. Nice to see the Prince minidoll updated to actually look like the movie with his gold-ness! Definitely a must buy. I'm thinking I may just buy all of these straight away when they're released. How long do we have to wait now?

Just jumped on UK store Argos' 3 for 2 Lego offer. Got myself Kylo's Tie - I was contemplating whether or not to get the Super Star Destroyer, but I literally cannot bring myself to buy it. The entire layout is near enough to same as the Imperial Star Destroyer; I was sat weighing the pros and cons to getting it, but the cons won in the end. Same goes for the assault walker!

I want the Pod!!! I hope a Cloud City UCS are true! The ONLY scene lacking a decent set is Luke VS Vader in ESB - this was my favourite lightsaber duel out of them all and to not have it in physical form gets to me. The old Cloud City doesn't count.. :P

Well I thought the 2010 Hogwarts was pretty decent. For the price, it managed to fit quite a lot in. The earlier castle's were quite poor, but what do you expect? Lego has improved over the year and the castles throughout the 2000s shows exactly how much.

Honestly? She looks terrible. I don't know what majority of you are looking at LOL! What's with the huge black eyebrows? The headpiece looks totally wrong on a minidoll; the headpiece she wore covered her entire head; neck as well. The fact that it only goes up to her cheeks looks terrible. Each to ones own, if you guys like it, but I'd say she's far worse than Ursula was from the Little Mermaid set wave and that's saying something. Oh and I am actually a fan of minidolls, especially for the princess-type characters. But Wow...Maleficent doesn't work at all.

Would anyone else love a Jabba's Palace UCS? I know the last had controversy, which would make them shy away from another. But I think it would be incredible. Cut out all of the heroes (Leia, Han etc), just give us all Jabba's inhabitants like the dancers, bounty hunters and all the droids working for him? Please make it happen Lego!

Can I make a list of figures I want? I'm kinda bummed there isn't more Rogue One stuff for Lego. There's a few characters that still haven't gotten the lego treatment and the new waves seem to focus on the PT/OT/FA/TLJ. Rogue One needs some love.

After seeing the trailer, I'm really impressed with the TLJ sets. They seem far more accurate than TFA ones; need to get my hands on them now!
