  1. Wooo! A topic to be British! I buy my LEGO from Amazon, Ebay (for old LEGO) and argos. The weather was great yesterday, in the morning it was miserable but brightened up later on. Hopefully we'll have some nice weather for the weekend. BTW what football teams do you guys support? I'm Spurs all the way!
  2. Hi guys! I'm thinking of making some POTC MOCs and require Dutchmen crew. Since Hadras is the only one available (and that set is expensive anyway) I have to resort to customs. I have gathered the hats, legs and weapons needed for some of the crew, but lack decals. I am rubbish at decal making so I call upon the great artists we have here to create some for me, please. Please may I have: Jimmy legs body and head Angler body and head (couldn't upload picture but I'll email it to you if you want.) Koleniko body and head Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks for the feedback guys! I have decided to use stickers now I know the print will be okay. The problem I had was the decal sticking out and making it hard to put hats on. Thanks for all your help!
  4. Neither, I'm using photo paper with decals printed on. I do this as I'm worried stickers will damage the print.
  5. Hi guys! I'm sorry if this has been answered before or if there is a topic for this or something. My question is: How do you make face decals flush with the head? I have recently printed off some face decals and tried applying them to my figs. When I put them on they stuck out and could be seen as decals a mile away. This is not the affect I want. Worse still, the way they stick out makes it a nightmare to put on helmets! Any help is appreciated!
  6. I like the LEGO Batman game. It represents the characters well and the levels are fun and interesting. The character custom thingy is a bit of a let down though, as there is no way to set the characters abilities. So everyone you make is essentialy either Batman or Robin but looking different. I bought it because it was LEGO, and I don't know much about the Batman universe.
  7. Ooh! I do love slope art like yours with that window/hole! That airlock looks rather nice, great use of the CM hockey player visor. The scene itself does not ring a bell, may I ask what game this is from?
  8. Ooh! Since playing the new video game demo and watching the 2nd film I am asolutely obsessed with the Dutchman crew! They could make: Dutchman crew battle pack for £9.99-£12.99. Containing... Davy Jones, Maccus (The hammerhead one), Hadras, Jimmy Legs (He is the bosun, he was the one who tried to whip William Turner, but Bootstrap did it instead), Clanker (The one with a hat, in the film he wields chain shot) and Bootstrap Bill Turner. Also contains the chest with heart and some small tree or building. I want this soooooo much! Cursed crew battle pack for £9.99-£12.99. Containing... Barbossa, Koehler (The one with Dreadlocks), Bo'sun (the African giant with tattoos), Raggeti, Pintel and Jacobi (The bomber maniac). Also contains a chest with Aztec gold and some small tree or building. This would be awesome too! These Characters could be easily made as they are in the game, only new moulds being Davy Jones' beard and hat, Maccus' head, and Koehler's dreadlocks. I think these would be awesome and I would pay lots for these!
  9. This is how mine work. I have one Admiral Woodhouse (Marine Major), one Redcoat officer (Marine Captain), two new Redcoats and two old (Marines). I have one Broadside (Admiral of navy), three Bluecoats with tricornes (Naval officers) and any number of pirates (sailors or sometimes pirates). I also have some Islanders (Ook Ook Ak Ook! ) I also have the CC and the old IF (CC is a naval ship and IF is Marine transport vessel) My figs are not British, French, Dutch or American. They are from the Empire of Legoland, fighting Islanders and Pirates. I prefer to not get caught up in accuaracy or Red vs Blue.
  10. Ed Boyd - 'It turned out that this was a really bad moment to pull a practical joke on Jack as he attempted to pull off the "Swords from the floor" trick that Barbossa and Elisibeth had used in Singapore.' - 3 points Truly funny , this caption uses a classic scene of the third film to create a comical caption. It fits the scene well and matches with Jack's annoyed expression. The zombie on the left looks surprised at the fish and the other zombie looks like he's frowning at the strange fish flying through the floor in Jack's hand. Barbossa looks like he is half-laughing-half-scared.The other pirate seems as if he has given up on Jack and is hiding, he sniggers quietly while Jack runs with the fish. . Jack looks like he is doing his girly run to the side of the ship to jump off the side. Overall, I like this comment the most and with it luck in the contest!
  11. Republic Commandos! -Sev -Scorch -Fixer -Delta 38 (you play as him, he is unnamed) These would have body armour pieces attatched at the neck and DC-17 blasters.
  12. There's my PM, never did find out who Mitchell was though! As I have said before, it was such fun, I hope to be playing with you guys soon.
  13. Yay! A great victory for the Townies because of cartain people (MetroID and Waterbrick Down to name two). The grand plan worked alright actualy it ensnared me and lead you on to MacK. Us at the scum never new Pandora was the vigilante, we killed her to try and thin out the ranks of logical thinkers. The murders of Waterbrick Down and MetroID were because they were leading the town. MacK, you did so well! I was just a goon and it was him that did all the killing. Hink did a great job of hosting, the funny openings and numerous Shadows characters made the whole experiance more fun. I was surpirised to see only two survivors, but of course Shadows unfortunatly fell by friendly fire. I wuv you Hinkwey, thank you so much for the dead picture I always wanted. Congratulations to all who played and made it so fun, I hope to be playing with you in the furture!
  14. Thanks Fuzzy! I don't mind no county on the back, as I'm using your lovely decal for my LEGO city coastguards Thanks again!
  15. I posted this beforre closing time thank you very much! The contest closed at 21:00 CET, that's 7'o clock for me. This was posted with 14 minutes to spare! I would also prefer it (Rook !) if some people actually even MENTIONED my MOC, I spent a lot of time on this, at least tell me if it is any good. The pictures are resized.
  16. Thanks KimT! I just did the url for the page.
  17. Ha ha, I love these Whack-offs! Masked still has my vote, that last one was great. Never thought Flare would have a pillow pet! Can't wait for the next one, keep on whacking!
  18. Hard luck Sirius Black! It sure must be irriating to be lynched for not posting. It seems MacK's vote would have saved you. Even though I'm dead I'm still enjoying the game, Shadows sure does die quickly. His night action must be something like a vampire, when dead it comes back, again, again and again!
  19. My entry for the EB contest: Character rides. This entry is for the Personal vehicle catagory. My first MOC on EB also Prepare for an epic: Scorpiox was born on the barren planet Gamma tolke 7 to a tribe of nomadic hunter Orkians. He was raised on the dunes hunting for his food and selling hides to foolish traders. He lived a simple life untill his 17 birthday when a strange ship landed on the dune sea. The Orkians were also reveared mechanics and could fix almost anything, but any attempt to try and trick them would result in a blaster bolt in the back. The ship was carrying a Jedi and his apprentice on a mission to coruscant, all had gone well until a solar flare had crippled the ship's engines. The jedi were wandering aimlessly in the desert until they stumbled across the Orkian hunters. They promised to fix the ship in return for a route off the lifeless rock they had been stuck on all their lives. It took many days to fix the ship but finaly the nomads were free! During the flight the Jedi studied Scorpiox's elder brother, and decided he were fit to be trained in the arts of the jedi. Scorpiox pleaded to be trained too but he was turned away. Scorpiox devoted the rest of his life to hunting down the Jedi who had rejected him. He never found the apprentice again but managed to mount the Jedi Knights's head on a spike, he still stalks jedi in the hope of finding the apprentice. The apprentice's name was Mace Windu, now a member of the jedi council and a master. He is happy to do any assasination bounties, using his hunting skills, but especialy looks out for those about jedi. Scorpiox carries his hunting spear and an Arkanian heavy pistol. He is clad in hides and furs and wears a hat. He bought his AAV on Manaan after persuading a drunken mechanic to build it for him, the mechanic recieved a few credits and some stab wounds in return for it. Without further ado I present Scorpiox and his AAV! Brickshelf folder C&C welcome but this is my first EB MOC so be gentle, and I know my camera skills need work.
  20. Ouch, and I didn't even get a place in that hotel they keep talking about! It was great fun Hinckley, thanks for giving me such a great role in my first game! Did I pass? It was such great fun, even though I was doomed since I voted for Waterbrick Down. Shame I didn't get a dead pic of myself for my avatar, oh well... P.S. Which ever furrie said in the day 4 intro: 'she was probably the accountant' was right! I was in charge of recording the Mafia's income.
  21. Withdrawing my vote was nothing to do with covering up, I knew since that post ages ago I was doomed so don't start with that now. As for my own reasons? As I said earlier, since when was it ilegal to share someone's views. I know I'm dead already. That grand plan of yours was a waste if you weren't careful one of you could've ended up dead. Brody, My your argument about Payton and Franklin still doesn't work. I never said that Payton was killed BECAUSE he was a vigilante, only that he was a vigilante and was killed. They both died in the same night, I'm sure the scum never new he was gonna kill Franklin. What happend was he decided to kill Franklin, the scum decided to kill him, it was probably a coincidence that It all happended in one night. What I was also saying is that we were afraid of the penalty for not convicting and that is why we all are in a hurry to convict every night. This is probably my last post of this game, tommorow you will discover my alliegence. Good luck to everybody and It was fun while it lasted. I have lots of evidence that is going to the grave with me, byeeeeeee!
  22. I've said all the evidence I can, I've answered all your questions. I'm never gonna convince you guys anyway. I don't know what you mean by 'giving up on yourself'. I would keep fighting if I had anything else to say, I plead my innocence but have no more evidence to give. I thought my essay would have at least convinced you a tiny bit. Before you lynch me, may I ask what made you first suspect me?
  23. I know you still misguidedly want my blood but I'm going to pull back my vote now you have been cleared as scum. Unvote: Brody Bulldog (Waterbrick down)
  24. Prepare for OOC: I didn't vote on those previous occasions because I live in England and don't get up in the middle of the night just to go on the computer. I don't go on in the morning either because I don't want to be late. You can't possibly accuse me for not having time to go on the PC. On both those times I said my last post and went to bed, when I got back in the afternoon the day was over. Back in character: I don't get your Franklin/Payton nonesoense. I said I don't know whether losing a vigilante was worth it for a scum because they both died on the same night. I wasn't in contact with either and only knew their aligence after they died. The scum obviously chose Payton to be killed and he chose Franklin, I know this because... it showed it in the opening shock horror probe! Your agument about me not voting has been explained above as well. I admit I jumped on the Anti-Brody bandwagon without any of my own evidence but I was afraid of the penalty, a such fear I sense in you know with your ill-thought accusations. Hesitant at voting off Marcus? I have explained above but I wouldn't have voted anyway, the Anti-Marcus bandwagon was metagaming and you can't possibly use that against me. About saying that Betsy would take the blame? Because I wouldn't have found fault with you if Betsy hadn't came up with her surprisingly good for fake arguments. Borrowing Evan's argments? Sorry, I must have missed the copyright symbol, am I not allowed to have the same views as someone else? Brody, you have talked a lot but said little, your grand plan was a failure and you seem to want to waste todays conviction on me.
  25. Is something wrong you say?!? Of course there is something freakin' wrong!!! Oh everything is hunky dory, oh yeah apart from the scum trying to kill us every night! Why did I vote for Brody you ask? Have you not been listening? *Calms down* Bianca, what have I ever done that was scummy? You are far too quick to vote, all you say is "this is a very high suspect". All you have is your gut feeling, nothing else. Why vote me? You haven't even given any evidence, don't expect anyone to back you up without evidence. It is actually rather scummy to vote for someone with absolute zero evidence. You're either an incredibly clumsy scum or a misguided townie.
