    If everyone is so desperate for this you should design and build your own. There's enough pics out there you could make a good stab at replicating what has been done. It's just bricks after all. After all that is what Mirko has done himself.

    Sure you already have looked into it, but just in case you haven't, there is software out there that will prevent copying and forwarding of documents. Although not 100% safe, it will make it a lot more difficult for the cloners to replicate the instructions, so if they were to purchase a copy, then. they'll have to copy it manually in LDD which may put them off altogether.

    This is fake. It has an interior and this clearly doesnt. Can't be long till a legit leak happens. Next few weeks I'd say.

    Instructions similar in style and quality as the big UCS sets such as the Falcon, SSD, Death Star would be fantastic.

    This interview with legos chief marketing officer whose remit includes heading up product development as far as I'm concerned confirms it.     I only saw an interior shot, but one would assume that it has an exterior which comes off and exposes the interior. As another poster says it would be a sick joke if it was just a playset that represents the interior of the falcon.

    would you mind sharing details of the stand that you built?

    Anyone come up with an alternative stand to the one proposed which is the same as the one for the UCS Tie Fighter. The stand isn't able to compensate for the weight of the wings and also relies on the cockpit which despite reinforcements isn't sturdy enough.

    Well I've seen a pic of it from someone who has contacts in Billund. The pic I saw was of the interior. Thus its not an exact remake of 10179 and thus is a hybrid display/playset similar to recent sets. It does exists but what's not clear is the release date, although more than likely it will be this September, but potentially it could be xmas to coincide with the release of the Last Jedi and thus the question is what happens to the Force Friday slot? BB-8 potentially, which was mentioned elsewhere.

    Given its 40th anniversary of a new hope, what about the trench run. It's outside of the 'sphere' and is an iconic scene and never been done and would be a large piece count.
