£35 for a 600 piece set is fantastic by the way. Excited for that I’m so excited for the golden idol temple, it was the only set from the original wave I never owned and the fact that they’re doing it as an 18+ diorama is amazing

I rewatched ToD yesterday and damn, I would kill for short round to be back, even in his own movie/Disney+ series

If it’s not coming They’d try and bury the leak surely, so they aren’t lambasted with people asking where the set they’ve seen it. I would wager at this point that Lego themselves aren’t sure if it’s coming or not, with previous cancelled/delayed sets, Lego have outright said what the deal is, but here they’re so vague that I think they might just not be sure yet

Ashnflash has been allowed to show the temple of doom by Lego weirdly. I still think it could just be pushed back, otherwise why would Lego allow leaked images to be shown?

The vague wording is purposeful id just like to say that there is some ridiculous hyperbole in this thread about Lego handling this, as if it’s the norm for them to mess up relaunches like this. Just taking into account Jurassic Park last week, clearly not the case. Saying they’re incompetent etc. just isn’t true. It’s been a bit of a mess here, sure, but don’t act like it’s like this across the board when it really isn’t. I’m sure we don’t know the whole picture yet

If temple of doom is cancelled, so be it i really, really doubt DOD sets are cancelled though. Hasbro aren’t launching things for that movie in April it’s only the first two movies that are being covered in their lines thus far, I think they’ll be revealed later down the line

I mean, nothing here says it’s cancelled or that these are the only sets we’re getting. All the indie product launches in April are original trilogy based. All the hasbro figures are from the first 2 movies

Would not take that as acknowledgement of the set, the interns doing social media replies probably don’t know about sets until they have to post them. It’s on a post about bowsers castle so they just mentioned that also a social media “campaign” about the temple of doom is just…urgh, please don’t do that

The builds are fine. But the colours of the dinosaurs are awful. Why are the velociraptors grey? They got it right in 2017, the velociraptor chase set had a perfect one. And rexy, dammit were never going to get an accurately coloured rexy are we.

If the theme is just these 3 sets, I’m happy with the Raiders idol set, it was the only one of the first original wave I never got and I’m so happy that we’re getting a remake

I’m still hopeful for TOD, the fact we’ve seen the box and it’s not a situation like the osprey where an organisation were campaigning for it to be cancelled makes me hopeful. I mean we got a redo of jab as palace last year despite the controversy before, wasn’t as an explicit a remake, but I feel that that shows Lego are okay with doing sets like that

All sounds fantastic. I got rid of all my Jurassic park/world stuff a while ago, but kept the Park gates and the velociraptor set. These all sounds great and I can’t wait to get them all. Sounds like between the two sets with Raptors and the 2017 set, you’ll get all 3 of the Raptors! So happy we’ll get all the cars too. Hopefully one of the minifigs in the 4+ is Muldoon, really need him to complete the cast. The Visitor centre honestly sounds pretty bad, tiny and shallow, but I’m happy with a little facade for shelf space. Will probably end up buying all of these.

Really sucks to hear that, I never owned a Temple of Doom set so was really excited for that, hoping we get a reason if it is cancelled. Hopefully it’s just postponed like the mechs or that architecture set. still excited for the sets we are getting though

I presume that this means it’ll be the whole castle. I’m not a massive fan of the 2018 one, the proportions are way off, parted out mine for my own Hogwarts MOC. This sounds more interesting though

I’m surprised at the meh response here. I think they look great. I never had the original fighter plane or temple of doom, but did have the lost temple. That one is for sure the weakest, but there’s some good individual builds, can definitely see myself MOC-ing some scenery. love the plane chase, just looks fun. temple of doom looks great, a good mix of display and play. Lots of wonderful figures and details. Cannot wait for that one. makes me hyped for the 18+ set. I really hope this theme continues for at-least another ‘classic’ wave. I really, really, really want a ‘race for the stolen treasure’ redo. I recently rebuilt my original, and it’s one of my favourite sets ever, and for a 2008 set, it still holds up structurally even 15 years later.
