I think a moulded head on a brick-build mosasaur body would have looked decent, like the whale in the avatar sets. But I’m very happy with it. I was only planning on grabbing whatever set would get me a Spino, but that mosasaur looks too cool to pass-up, even better if it’s in the same set as the spino

That looks about as good as I expected, I can’t see a way it could have been tiled off. But damn, that looks like the most boring build ever. Just buy a marvel legends shield for like £50 less.

That’s not why people are moaning. The only moaning I’ve seen it’s because of cape. but also I never said £16 for the Minifigures. I am counting the build too

Considering the good Minifigures, that’s not a terrible price imo the comments I’ve seen online of people moaning about boba is mad. They’ve fully updated the printing and head, but because there’s no cape it’s Lego being cheap? Clearly he wouldn’t fit into the mech with the hard side cape, is legos thinking

Imagine if they’d left off the front and just put that budget into a 3 sided walled off Batcave with crazy rock detail. or better yet, have the front open up down the middle so it’s less obtrusive and pointless when displayed open, instead of having to find another 51cm space for the bat symbol side, the two halves could have had their own fold out platforms and sections; think Harry Potter classroom book style. If the regular set Batmobile is poor compared to this, and this set goes down by 30/40%, I’ll consider getting it for the batmobile and parts, immediately selling the Minifigures (not a burton movies fan)

That’s all I want, just a good Batcave to put some vehicles in and have Batman sitting there all gloomy

Huge swing and a miss. I really wanted a good ucs Batcave. This ain’t it though. There’s such a lack of detail and space for things. Seems so pointless for the price

Seems like a continuation to me. The year 1 set is just because the old system scale HE is retired. They want one on the shelves at all times it seems. The patronus is experimental like the big figs a couple years ago, and hedwig/fawks/dragon. And WWW is a play set for kids that can’t afford the D2C. And BoH set is still a pretty good deathly hallows set; it’s the courtyard, the bridge, and it can be destroyed. Pretty specifically DHP2 to me.

Funny considering that they’ve given Harry a black want to show its Draco’s. Do we have any idea why they’ve abandoned those new broom pieces that were introduced last year? They’re in the Brickheadz sets but not the quidditch set or the room or requirement set this year…

At least they made it more accurate. i think that it’s intentional though, judging by Voldemort’s lighter robes. I reckon the idea is that his and Harry’s clothes are ‘dusty’

I like what I see. HogsMeade station looks really decent. I haven’t got the collectors edition train yet, so I’m very mixed on the set but the fact that this has two carriages and tracks is really nice. If the interior and mannequin man on the front of WWW is superior to the DA version I’ll definitely pick it up on discount. As for the others; the final battle is a must buy. Zero interest in patronus and dobby bar maybe the Minifigures and casting piece for wands. The quidditch set I’ll get on discount. Overall a very cheap year for HP for me. (Which to be honest is good because Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park are rinsing me at the moment)

Anyone that uses ‘I’ll wait’ unironically in an argument is laughable. It’s not a remake anyway, re-adaption. you can say besides Dune, but that is a good remake (readaption) so you’ve already proven yourself wrong. But hey I’ll bite; It, King Kong, A Star is Born, Batman Begins/The Batman, little Women, Casino Royale, Oceans 11, Fright Night. I’d argue the Jungle Book too.

T “That trash” it’s only just been announced how d’you know it’ll be trash? I’m all for it personally. The movie series is iconic for many reasons, but damn it’d be cool to see the books adapted more closely, and knowing the full story beforehand will allow them to tell some parts better I think. and hey, atleast we know that the Lego theme will likely stick around forever now

Finally got the idol temple set yesterday (originally wanted to get it April first but waited, but I’ve had a bad week so I thought it’d cheer me up) and holy damn is this a fantastic set. I love it so much, the play features are perfectly set up for this type of set and I hope they continue to implement features into the diorama range. I’m a bit sad that we don’t get 3 Indie’s to have in the 3 scenes but he’s also in a cheap set so that can be done. So happy with this set. If this is all we get, I’m atleast glad that this set exists. im going to get the other sets down the line. If it’s these 3 and done then I want to spread them out…
