And so it's time to go to bed, the day seems to have come to an end without a conviction. And as this isn't going anywhere anyway I unvote: Zita / Zapper Brick

Congratulations Svelte! I hear Shadows is already organizing the party You know what they say.. there's nothing as permanent as a temporary solution

THE OLD Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List
Quarryman replied to The Middleman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
+1 to Dragonator +1 to ImperialShadows +1 to Alice -
It's a meat shield because it's believed he used a piece of meat (that is, another person) to shield himself from harm. The only reason I can see for the scum to need an investigator would be to dig up who among us loyals are able to do things at night.
-
Basicly the "meat-shield theory" goes that Shawn is scummy as few and sacrificed Jerry to look better himself (something others have done in situations similar to ours), thereby using Jerry as a meat-shield. Anyway, this is a tricky situation for us, on one hand we have a smooth-talking toaster salesman which I instinctively don't want to trust, and on the other a rambling mad woman that might be an innocent townie that just happens to be very stupid, or scum. At the moment I think I'll go with getting rid of another rambling mad person; Vote: Zita / Zapper Brick.

Poor Robert, risking his life for us like that, and now he's dead I hope he's now in Heaven with his beloved Gloria. Pardon my forgetful mind, but when did you say that? (I don't doubt that you did, I just can't remember it happening, there's been so much going on lately, easy to miss something)

LUGBULK - New concept for the AFOL community
Quarryman replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A limit makes sense indeed, but in my opinion 200 DKK is way too little to make sense. -
LUGBULK - New concept for the AFOL community
Quarryman replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The thing I really don't get about this is the 200 DKK maximum purchase limit for each person, most of the other restrictions make sense in some way, but not that. -
We can kill one of them tomorrow then.

Noir Mafia Confirmation/General Discussion Thread
Quarryman replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Except that the game's rules says the same as Dragonator. (at least my interpretation of them is the same as his, they aren't written explicitly enough in my opinion). However, I agree that TinyP's practise until now creates a precedent for your interpretation of the rules. So, TinyP, could we please have a rule clarification here? Are we allowed to change our votes after a majority has been reached, and when does the day end? -
Indeed, you're wrong, I'm no more than a loyal townie that can do naught at night except try to get some sleep in fear that the scum with their tommy guns will come for me next.
-
And I'm still waiting for you to explain how I ended up on yours and Artie's kill-list.
-
Quite. According to that logic there's no way this: could be based on Artie investigating me. So Zita, I ask again, what was this list you and Artie made based on?
-
Still waiting for Zita to directly say that Artie said I was scum, which to me will confirm that Artie was paranoid and thus confirm that Shawn is loyal, but for the time being: Vote: Rose / Ricecracker / Hatchet Girl
-
Ah, sorry about that, my mistake. Have you considered the possibility that Artie was a paranoid investigator interpreting everything in the direction of guilt? Who other than Shawn did Artie investigate?
-
And where did Artie get his information about me then? From Jerry perhaps? (we've all seen how trustworthy that scumbag was..)
-
Interesting, did they have any reasons for wanting to kill me? Or was it just "vote Joey, he's bad!"?
-
Except that there is a lot more that points at Michelle being scum than Shawn being scum, her defence of Jerry yesterday was way to vigorous to be based on just believing Jerry was innocent, and today she has just continued attacking Shawn. My vote stands.
-
If you want to join the next game you have to wait until that game (which will be Dragonator's sequel to Mystery Castle of last year) starts, which will happen some time after the current game is over. In the meantime I'd suggest you follow the current game and perhaps read a few of the older ones to understand how games are run around here
-
Oh damn, despite his mad ramblings Artie really was loyal, I'm sorry that I doubted him Agreed. Vote: Millacol/Michelle. Don't think I've ever been this sure of someone's guilt before.

Couldn't sleep so I did some calculations.. The width of a Class 56 is (according to Wikipedia) 279 cm, which if we divide by 8 (studs) and then divide by 0.8 (width of a stud in cm) gives us: (279 / 8) / 0.8 = 43.59, that is, an 8 studs wide Class 56 should be in scale 1:43.59 And as the length of a Class 56 (again according to Wikipedia) is 1935 cm we get: (1935 / 43.59) / 0.8 = 55.48 studs About 15 studs too long then I'd say, though it's a bit hard to count with such blurry pictures I think it's about 70 studs long now?

Like this: Exactly. Getting them unrolled on the inside is quite difficult and an exercise in patience, but it's possible. No, it's not a fake, Matija did it, I did it, it's quite possible. (Matija was cheating though, he was sober ) See comment above.

Noir Mafia Confirmation/General Discussion Thread
Quarryman replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Indeed a good Day, great to see so much activity Please do not play the game in the discussion thread, including posting anything like "I thought X" or "I was sure of Y". -
Reviving an old thread here (but it's great stuff in here, so everyone should read it anyway ) Obviously the next step after building a set in bag would be to attach the stickers while it's in the bag, like this: (admittedly not built by me, though I built the same set and attached the stickers at that same party, (Brikkelauget's annual assembly back in June) but I never got around to taking a picture of it, so I'm borrowing a picture from Matija ) Of course a requirement for doing this is that the DSS is outside the bag, but that's true for Racers at least.

I don't see why my opinion in particular should be so very interesting, but here goes: Currently the result of today is that Jerry will be condemned. Whether or not he's innocent isn't really interesting, but it looks like we are going to learn a lot from his death, which has the following possible outcomes: a) Jerry is scum - hooray, we got one, and can go on with those who so eagerly supported him b) Jerry is innocent - okay, it sucked, but then we can kill Shawn and probably Sal too. So the way I see it maintaining the status quo votewise is how we'll learn the most. (yes, we could perhaps learn the same things by first killing Shawn, but at the moment I trust Shawn a tiny bit more than Jerry) And therefore I'm not going to change my vote, dixi.
