Happy Birthday guys!
-
I for one am not comfortable with choosing someone at random, I believe that's far too risky. (I have during my long time in service of the People's Republic of Hamenweir at times made some hasty decisions without information that I later came to regret). And in case someone is wondering about me keeping silent it's because I believe running around in circles shouting won't do anything to help us in this situation. Staying calm is what's needed. That sounds highly unlikely, this is an internal Matidoer matter, the Dragons are Matidoerian traditionalists, so if anything outsiders are the least likely to be part of that group.

My apologies for being so late ladies and gentlemen, I had to read up on the last reports I received regarding my homeland's election before the castle was locked down. This is indeed a grave situation, it looks like the enemy has powers we cannot hope to match, so we must be careful when going forward. I hope someone can turn up some evidence later on, because being in the dark like this is mightily frustrating. And you servants might want to quiet down a little, a noisy racket like that isn't helping our situation at all.

Then you'll commit suicide by diving down on the lunch table? That would be an almost as grim fate as being crushed by potatotes.. -
At first I thought this looked a bit grey and boring to be a SlyOwl creation, sure nice work on the cliffside, but overall, quite boring. ..and then I scrolled down and saw the interior, wow Lots of great details, think my favourite is the guy in the bed, nice touch

Mystical Castle - The Alliance

You seem to know a lot more about the affairs of Mystical Castle than the rest of us, I'm certain this means you have bribed the host generously, which further means you must be scum (because you wouldn't bribe him to make you a Citizen ), so I'm voting for you -

Yes yes, I want to play. -
Just saw this on The Brothers Brick, what an amazingly cool mecha (I'll admit, I love most MOCs that include pink ). The belvillish colour scheme works great, and the kitty cannon is pure genius. It should have had more pink though, and more flowers

Indeed a lovely set, I treasure mine above most other sets I own The amount of work Copmike puts into the Event extras is really amazing And everyone should go to an Event some day, they're great fun, some of the best days in the year

Noir Mafia: The Conclusion
Quarryman replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well well, congratulations to the scum, well done. And I'm not sure, but this just might be the worst I've played a mafia game on EB. Too afraid to openly attack when I should have, too eager to support voting, etc. Oh well, die and learn, again. Still, I do believe one of the biggest mistakes certain townies made was to target Shadows and only Shadows. As has been pointed out earlier Striker was probably the most obvious scum, but no one really targeted him. In a way I feel I must congratulate Hinckley the most, I never even suspected him until I was told he was scum. By then it was almost too late, Day 6 happened and everything really fell apart. Speaking of Day 6.. One of my biggest complaints regarding the hosting of this game is the duration of Day 6, it should never have been allowed to go on for as long as it did. ("well over 6 days" is not "about 5 days"). Not that I think that alone could have saved us, we really played horribly, but it did tip the balance even more towards the scum's victory. Another thing that bothered me was how TinyP went back and "enhanced the truth" (i.e. edited the opening post of the Day) after a conviction had been reached. And of course the unwillingness to enforce the rules. If you don't follow your rules, how do you expect us to do so? (admittedly a large part of why I wanted YG-49 dead in Day 1 was that he broke the "3 edits" rule even after being warned.) But apart from those three things, good job hosting, you've improved a lot since Witch Hunt (but then again Witch Hunt was positively screwed anyway ) Anyway, I'm really looking forward to your next game, just please be more explicit and strict. (I hate things like "about 5 days" and such, the duration of a Day should in my opinion be set in an exact number of hours. Or if it's a requirement that a conviction has been reached or everyone has voted please say so explicitly) Or at least never roleplay someone who's a drunk, that doesn't exactly make you trustworthy. We got really really close on Day 6, if only Newright had believed me when I wrote to him telling him to change his vote. (I considered Stash to be a lost cause, and making any of the scum change their votes of course wouldn't have made sense.) Uhm, here you've messed up something in the results And continuing to use past performance as an indicator you'll probably die on Day 1 -
Yes, both LDraw and MLCAD are free to use.

Noir Mafia Confirmation/General Discussion Thread
Quarryman replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
And so it ends (for me). It was fun while it lasted Good luck to the remaining townies, I hope you'll make it through And a small sidenote, this is my first mafia game on EB where I've been killed during the game -
The garden gnome achievement took quite a while and at times was mightily frustrating, but the "you're crazy!" reaction from others was totally worth it

These are amazing Really like the updated HEV suit, it looks a lot better than the first one. Alyx looks a bit too clean perhaps, but I guess it's due to being early in the game (that Alyx' clothes get dirtier throughout the game is a very nice touch) Have you lost any buildings yet? (I.e., the Neigbourhood Watch achievement) As for HL MOCs, go ahead, make a strider

Welcome to EB, I hope you'll enjoy your stay I've already seen your very promising Egyptian temple, looking forward to seeing that project develop
-
Very impressive And for the lazy ones, embedded YouTube video:
-
This is starting to look like a very interesting and promising project I really love ancient Egypt, so I'll be sure to follow this As for the walls it might be just building them with regular bricks and putting hinges at the bottom is the cheapest solution. Or use this: and SNOT it (mount it sideways). And as I see you're new here on EB I'd suggest you drop by our "Hello, My name is..."-forum and introduce yourself

It really doesn't matter now, but what the heck Vote: Zita / Zapper Brick
-
Actually we haven't, there are currently 5 votes for Zita, as there are 10 of us left it takes 6 votes to convict.

Saw this in the military building competition on Flickr a while back, it's an amazing piece of work. Lots of great details Also a very interesting theme for a MOC, there's not many Africa themed MOCs. Guess the tank could have benefited from being 10 studs wide, don't think 8 studs wide tanks look good, but that's just a matter of taste
