  1. Here it is. By demand of Scorpiox, I added a new Bat-Themed vehicle! The establishing shot. Wait! Where is the suit changer? And what is this mysterious support! Why it is the Batwing! It has a fairly simple design, and I built the whole structure in about 2 hours. The cockpit! See it looks like a bat! LEGO's design was too complicated and deteriorated from the Bat image. The Bat-Missle? The Sky-Pod. It detaches so that Batman can get out of sticky situations. The attaching mechanism. This was VERY simple to make. Note: regular supports will not hold the Batwing. The final shot. Questions, comments?
  2. Shouldn't these pictures be removed? As much as I love getting new pictures, it has a watermark labeled: Confidential. I was reading my Brickjournal today and LEGO itself made a personal message to rid the internet of pictures with that exact watermark. I don't really want to spoil everyone's fun. Sorry.
  3. The summer sets are suprisingly very good in my eyes. The current wave did not really call to me. It had too much technology, but the newer wave seems to go back to simpler times where everyone wore colored outfits.
  4. I am REALLY nitpicking here but if you really wanted to make it how LEGO makes stuff (I love to do this too) then use all one type of color. (ex. dark bley not dark grey) I see some dark grey on the Grail Knight's pants. And I'm not to wild about Elsa and the Nazi Officer's faces either but they are ok. I'm also flaky on the brickarms weapons.
  5. Might I suggest changing the utility belt? And changing the Bat-symbol to one solid color.
  6. Yeah this looks so much like the Bat-Gyro from the second or third Batman comic.
  7. The giant dinasour has always been in the Batcave for some unknown reason thats beyond me. He also has a giant penny, but there was no way I could replicate that. I never thought about doing a batcopter, but I have always thought about doing a batwing except I need the parts to do so. I'll try the batcopter in the near future.
  8. Thanks everyone!
  9. I took everyone's comments, and put them in a blender. And thus this monstrosity was born. I also added many things of my mind. Remember. I enjoy making this stuff with one type of color (bley not dark grey, light bley not light grey) so it limits which parts I can use by half. An overview shot. A shot of the figures. I added: Robin, Tim Drake, and I used the Henry Jones face for Alfred instead of the Dumbledore face. Showcasing how the sections can be taken apart. The main section can not be taken apart unfortunatly. A shot of the sewer exit closed. I recently (as of today) added a lock tile from Sirius Black's Escape and a light bley chain. And now it's open! One thing I wished I did is make the sewer much higher so that the Batmobile can fit through. The Batmobile: It has a working missle, storage space for all of Batman's gadgets and two seats for Batman and Robin. Another shot of the Batmobile. I added an extra sticker from the Tumbler and placed it on the car. It looks okay. One thing I forgot to mention is that if you lower the wings and look from above, you can sort of see a bat. The turning display area inspired my the film Batman Forever. (Don't worry, the plates are flat now) The turning mechanism inside. Also there is some mechanic equipment. The entirely new section featuring: A stone rock with a mounted security camera, a weight-lifting area, and Robin's Jet. (NOT A SCUBA JET) A closer shot of the weights. (almost an identical design to the LEGO Batcave) A crane with some evidence inside. (A Poison Ivy seed is currently inside the box) The redux cannon. It is mostly based off of the cannon from the LEGO Aquabase Invasion. (Aqua Raiders) The evidence chamber featuring a close up of my favorite villain, Two-Face! The giant dinasour. It took me a while to find this one. I found it in This set. The Batcomputer with a Two-Face coin on display, a gold bar, lights, two computers, levers, and more. Batman's equipment including a grapple-gun with mounted light. Note: I recently removed those two yellow signs to the far right. They looked ugly. The trapdoor into the prison. Note: It is identical to the Scorpion Pyramid set. The Batsuit display area. Just some random things, nothing of importance really. The spiral staircase. I made it lock by extending the second floor. The Jail Cell can fit two or three minifigures with no accesories. The Batcave in action! (The Joker and his goon are obscured by the sewer door. Now, questions, comments? I can easily extend the Batcave by adding more plates. So if there are any more ideas, I would be glad to do a second redux. I don't know how to do a giant Lincoln penny (Trust me, I've tried) so please do not reccomend that. If you really want me to, show me how to make it first. Thank you, montyofmusic.
  10. Resized. Sorry about that.
  11. I'm not sure if this sort of topic is allowed here and if it isn't, feel free to move/close it. I have enjoyed LDD in the past and so I decided to get LDD 4.0. To my surprise, the program didn't do anythinig. It didn't open. It didn't show any error messages. So, I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks.
  12. Hello everybody! First post and first MOC. I have always been a fan of LEGO Batman, and I was sad that I didn't get the Batcave. So, I started building one and here it is now! It also includes my own version of the Batmobile. So without further ado, here it is! An overview shot. Here is the front of Joker's RC. I tried to make it heavily cartoon. The Joker and his yellow cartoon-esque gun. Notice the flick-fire missles. I tried to make this like LEGO would make it. My Batmobile. I made sure that the front wheels were not covered so that they looked like the Tumbler's wheels only inverted. Two seats for Batman and our favorite whining sidekick. (I don't know if it's just me, but I LOVE Robin.) My Robin is shipping in next week so I may put in some new pictures later. This is the bar that turns the Batmobile platform. I got the idea from Batman Forevor. The Batmobile platform turned slightly. It turns the full 360 degrees. Inside the box that the turning mechanism is encased in are some tools. It was really a last minute idea so nothing to special here. The turning mechanism itself. Notice all the space that can be used for more storage. I may use that in a later MOD. Here is the place where Bruce Wayne becomes Batman. I used the new Han Solo face for Bruce. And now if the wall turns, Batman is revealed and Bruce is obscured from view. This mechanism is also used as the entrance to Wayne Manor. The Jail Cell. It can hold three people. Maybe four if one of them is The Penguin. The trapdoor mechanism. If someone gets to close to the Batcave from Wayne Manor, this happens. They fall in to the Jail! Batman's equipment, including his grapple gun. These is the stairs up to the main building which holds the Batcomputer. Now, they are closed! This isn't intentional, and I'm trying to find a way to fix it. This is the Batcomputer. I used some of the decal from the LEGO Batcave. This is a random Computer Console on the docks. Robin's Scubajet is being sent to my house next week for this dock. The evidence area. Nothing to special here. I was going to include a Joker bomb and a Two-Face coin but I just didn't get around to it. The Batgun with two launchers in it. It has a side area for one minifigure to sit in. The Batcave in action! How YOU can help! Give me some ideas for the first floor of each area. Keep the size limitations in mind when posting. Questions, Comments?
