Stone Wars has found all the sets and minifigures from the bandmates line. All pictures are on Instagram and on the Stone Wars website. Then why are some of the most expensive sets constantly on backorder? Or that most sets at some point have sold out temporarily, the issue isn’t price, it’s value for money.

They might have been sold in error especially since they were a book exclusive minifigure. Although saying that, they were available for LUGBulk 2020.

LEGO might have had low expectations for the movie. Look at how some of the other LEGO DC movie sets sold. Shazam wasn’t as well known to the general audience as Batman, Superman or even Aquaman. I think LEGO just played it safe.

To be fair, I really like the robot as well. If I end up buying the shark I’ll buy the pirate but only if I buy Mohawk Shark. I would have preferred the price of £14.99 for the beatboxes as opposed to £17.99.

We’ve now seen every minifigure of this wave one way or another. What’s every one’s favourite? Mine is the samurai and cowboy from the bandmates series.

Some LEGO themes just take time. Designers are given max 2 years to design a set, this theme could have started development 1.5 years ago.

If that was the case, the regular CMF would be boxes also. These could have been designed pre-pandemic.

The products will be released 1st March so they will be revealed officially any day now so hopefully most of our questions should be answered.
