  1. Not to mention the charm on his belt is the logo of Terabyte from the old Ultra Agents sets.
  2. Looking at the leaked face, I'm getting a stone warrior vibe from the black background, blue detail pattern. Maybe they share some aesthetics figure/set design wise?
  3. Liking the look of the series so far! My favorite designs are the vampire knight, mummy girl (always happy for more horror archetypes), and the monkey king. Also, super glad that we’re finally getting the fox girl from the LEGO movie 2; guess that’s the final nail in the coffin for any hope of a second movie cmf series... but honestly I don’t see any that I dislike! Maybe it’s just the drought of original series clouding my judgement, but so far everything’s looking great.
  4. I'm definitely getting the Junkertown set; Roadhog is incredibly well done, and he's probably my favorite overwatch character. Wrecking Ball looks pretty good too!
  5. Holy heck I'm late for these but this series is astounding! The DUPLO Alien Boy and Tombstone are spectacularly well designed, and the Mobile Suit Guy is one of my favorite of your concepts so far! I echo what @Digger of Bricks said about the Venusian fitting right in with the Systarians. But every time I look at the herald I can only think of
  6. Another excellent series! The Valkyrie and Circus Acrobat are beautifully designed, and I'm a sucker for holiday archetypes and monsters, so the Snowman and ghoul are among my faves. The Loch Monster Guy has a perfect expression for his alternate face, and I love the reference to the Supervillain (and perhaps a hint at an upcoming hero CMF?) in the Delivery Guy's accessories.
  7. Are you willing to put up with more of my chicken scratches, that's the real question Probably, but it'll most likely be in a different thread; I don't wanna upstage anyone.
  8. I can't say I'm surprised; both of them are highly popular character archetypes, with the Classic Villain being really based off of one or two major characters. Still, I'm glad you like them!
  9. So, in anticipation of series Ñ, and to follow up on a promise I made years ago and still have yet to fulfill, I figured I'd drop a few of my minifig designs here, since Robert was always intrigued by them. I hope its alright. (A lot of my designs Robert has already made, so there were somewhat slim pickings for this) First two I made years ago in illustrator, probably the best of the bunch back then: And a few others I could only get down as sketches after I lost access to illustrator (I sincerely apologize for the terrible quality, let me know if you need help with my handwriting):
  10. Honestly, I prefer this one, if only because they finally made LEGO TNBC characters. The Hercules and Frozen designs are amazing as well.
  11. LEGO Jack Skellington has been on my wishlist since Disney series one; I'm so glad we finally get him! (pity about the lack of long Woody-style limbs, but I can live with it) Glad to see Frozone and a proper Edna, as well! I echo @mscott71; with these versions of Mickey and Minnie as CMFs I can feel a little bit better about not being able to afford Steamboat Willie. These figures are all really good; my only complaint is a continued lack of Goofy.
  12. Excellent; first one of my favorite actors gets figure representation, now one of my favorite authors. Can't wait for the next series!
  13. I'm happy! I missed my chance to get Mickey and Minnie during the first CMF series, and now they're being released as my favorite of their incarnations. Do you suppose we'll get the parrot and goat that the ideas creator added?
  14. Hoo boy; truth be told I haven't given it much thought for a while. I might get it back up and running, once I reevaluate my selections to make sure I don't use any concepts you beat me to. But I'm afraid I've long since lost access to adobe illustrator, so if I do show them they'll just be pencil and paper drawings.
  15. I really, really love this series! Favorites of mine are the Android, Supervillain, Alien Tracker, and Zombie Woman.
  16. A Man In Black and a counterpart to one of my favorite of your CMF designs? This is gonna be a Good series. Also, bringing some more bios for ya: Pizza Man "I've talked like-a dis for six years-a! I cannot-a even remember how I use-a to talk!" The Pizza Man is a plain fellow who had a rather odd job description; a mascot for a local pizza parlor, his manager thought it would be funny if they made him go the extra mile and basically act like a big old Italian stereotype 24/7. The kids loved it, but it kinda put off most of the adults, especially the Pizza Man himself. It isn't very sensitive, he sounds ridiculous, and the mustache is really itchy. When the pizza shop shut down, and the Pizza Man was free to pursue whatever career he desired, his endeavors tended to crash and burn, since he was still subconsciously speaking with an outrageous fake accent. It seems only time will tell if he will be able to shake off these bizarre habits... Mrs. Santa "Did you remember your mittens? Keys? Spare plate of cookies?" Mrs. Santa is Santa Claus' doting wife. When Santa watches for niceness and peace in the world, she's content to keep the North Pole warm and make treats for her husband and their diligent Elven employees, of warm clothes, or hot sweets. In recent years, she's been more and more worried about Santa forgetting important tools and other things on his most important trip, and always makes sure to make extras and spares of everything he may need along the voyage. Though it might seem annoying, Santa knows her heart is in the right place. Super Kid "Up, up, and away!" The Super Kid is something of a handful. Utterly infatuated with the concept of superheroes and superpowers, he's been trying all he can to get some of his own. Whether it be playing outside in a lightning storm, Looking in caves or crashed spaceships for powerful artifacts, or begging the Wizard to teach him the secrets of magical power, rest assured his parents have a lot on their plate to deal with. For all of his rambunctiousness and disregard for safety, he truly wants to be a hero, and knows what that means; when he's not trying to get his superpowers, he's doing all he can to rescue cats, aid ladies in crossing the street, and doing his best to help those who need it the most.
  17. eh, it's only been over a month since these came out (I'm really sorry, I've had a lot on my plate with school and the holidays; here we go): Slime Monster "Maybe...you...be...friend?" It's not hard to trick or fool the Slime Monster; after all, he was born yesterday. After escaping the lab that created him, he's been on the loose, roaring and rampaging through anything in his way...at least, that's what the lab says. In reality, hes been wandering through the city alone, learning new things and trying to make friends. He truly means no wrong; all he wants is a little companionship. But since he's heard those lab reports calling him a monstrous beast, he's been wondering--is he really a hideous monster? Orc "Eh, it's alroight oi suppose...prob'ly shouldn' say i' in fron' of da boss, do....we don' even 'ave dental." This Orc is one of many, a rank and file soldier in the armies of the Chaos Lord, working to spread entropy and terror over the land. Ask him about the job, and he'll tell you it pays the bills, and in the end, that's what matters, right? Probe a little deeper, and you'll find he is deeply unsatisfied with this career choice. From a young age, he's been little more than cannon fodder, sent into battle against the greatest of warriors with little regard for life or limb. On top of that, the food is always stale and he only gets three days vacation a year! He's practically rooting for the other side to slay the Chaos Lord, so he can finally pursue his dream career as an actuary.
  18. hOLY HECK I love these! The Slime Monster, Orc, and Spooky Doll are among my favorites of your designs, and the Pizza Guy, Super Kid, and Mrs. Santa are delightful as well! I'll get to the bios on them soon as I can.
  19. This is the best Christmas gift; I love the design for Lady Justice! Can't wait to see the rest of the series, and hopefully write some bios.
  20. Well, I replaced it with a link to a site with the pic.
  21. I think I fixed it; does it work now?
  22. Here's a Jack-O'-Lantern fellow! I may use him as a sigfig. https://ibb.co/hWydJL
  23. Ah. That's very good news for me. Anyway, I'll definitely pick up the Reinhardt/D.Va set; maybe Dorado as well. Still holding out for a Junkrat&Roadhog set, though...
  24. As in December of 2018 or 2019? I'm still not solid on the year 'categories'.
  25. Actor "..." In the golden age of film, this Actor's unique style of wacky slapstick, a youthful and relatable persona, and a subtle air of melancholy and altruism made him one of the most beloved performers of his time. A great achievement, especially considering he did it while almost never speaking a word, on-screen or off! If his acting school taught him anything, it's that actions speak louder than words--a philosophy he adheres to at all times. But, when the times comes that something important truly needs to be said, you can count on the Actor to stand for what he believes in, and deliver a great speech that moves people to tears for generations to come. Red Card Guard "This is bad, this is bad..." The Red Card Guard is in deep trouble. The Red Card Queen recently ordered several beautiful red rose bushes, with instructions for the Guards to receive and transplant them in a aesthetically pleasing manner. However, when they arrived, this poor soul was the first to realize that, for whatever reason, the roses they got where white! The Queen is famous throughout the land for her terrible temper--if the Red Card Guard doesn't fix this mix-up, and fast, it'll be off with his head! (Which, granted, isn't very deadly to a minifigure, but it ain't exactly a pleasant experience either) Calaca "C'mon, c'mon! We still have so much to see!" Natural gateways between the minifigure world and the Monster Realm don't open up often; usually only one or two a year. But that doesn't stop the Calaca! Ever since she heard of the wonders of our world from the Festive Mariachi, she's been preparing for as many chances to visit us as she can; preparing her dress and decorations, and plotting the openings of gateways as precisely as possible. Always emerging on Halloween or the Day of the Dead, it's generally easy for her and her musical friend to get around to see and do what she wants--which is always a lot! There will likely be more to come, but for now...
