  1. no this is a different build.the 85mtr one is the Njord Viking which has more elec workings inside.pretty much the same ships but the Magne I was not pwrmitted to show pics until it was handed over to the press
  2. fully working guide posts and shark jaws
  3. 7ft long scale model of Viking Ships Magne Viking (TENET) built for Montrose Port Authority fully functionable featuring working radars/gangways/FRC davit/working winches all through S-bricks.LED lighting 120,000 pieces used to build this
  4. thanks Edwin that is good of you I may be in touch for your help and advice, studying your building makes this possible but not wanting to just copy what you do that would not be right, this is the second build (first being the Magne Viking) so its slightly easier to tweak it here and there changing parts that was too late to do in the first build plus motorizing everything, some more done as pieces arrive but it just eats them up esp with the interior so there is no void spaces when you look through a doorway or window hull looks nice now and still to put tiles/slopes for that smooth look fo/castle will be covered and only visible through the mooring slots and doorway, winch is not motorized as yet (not sure if it should be) opinions ?? view from the gangway cutout looking in to where the waterfall winches will be
  5. Azimuth thruster tested and working be it a bit fragile thrusters tested and working anchor and mooring winch a few problems setting the S-brick to work the azimuth and thrusters through a 9v transformer
  6. Thanks Edwin that means alot from such an expert as yourself.studying your builds and Konajara,s makes this build possible,
  7. ROV still needs work but overall the shape is kinda there ROV door can turn 180 degrees atlast the axle goes beneath the main deck where the motor/reduction can fit waiting on Bricklink orders to get more done now to change the A-frame to blue as it is on the ship so I found out today when it came in to the harbour
  8. ROV A-frame this wil be motorized with a door also motorized once the hangar is built around it ROV hangar is 3 decks high which should give enough clearance for the frame to fit inside
  9. Bow section done up to the waterline 2 side thrusters motorized with LED lights aswell cut out bottom of hull for the telescopic Azimuth thruster which is completely motorized Azimuth thruster in its lowered position this rotates 360 degrees
  10. Motor for one of the 2 main props the 2 main corridors that run down each side for pipework and crew protection stern roller how many of you would think it would be wrong to paint the props bronze or is it better to leave them as is
  11. some more done now waiting on a few 1000 red tiles and slopes from Bricklink motors installed for side thrusters motor for steering ram steering ram for both rudders
  12. nozzle to make yet around the prop
  13. the underwater part of the hull is near complete, the other pics is from a completed model for a customer but the current one will be fully working, both are the same ships be it Njord Viking and the completed Magne Viking (TENET)
  14. Anchor Handling Towing Supply vessel, scale 1/37 minifig will be around 7ft x 2ft fully fuctional via S-brick, stern showing the Becker flap rudders rudders will work as will 2 main props,2 stern side thrusters, forward 2 side thrusters and forward Azimuth retractable thruster, working deck posts that lower into deck for Anchor handling and also sharks teeth fully working winches waterfall 3 drum winch 2 rope winches will be motorized aswell as FRC davit and folding gangways on each side, radars and lighting through out, deck cranes possibly if its not too bulky looking as they slide along the top rail
  15. i seen this and wondered why you were reposting this then upon a closer look i realised this is slightly different to the last one,one thing i am not sure about is why they both have the same name, as always outstanding work,i study your builds to learn how to improve my builds,
  16. FRC in minifig scale, Davit sitting inside the enclosure,a pneaumatic ram holds in place but maybe try the linear ram if its possible swung out ready for lowering Thanks to Konajra and Edwin Korsttanje I have studied their amazing builds which are a great help and inspiration
  17. building this in real bricks i think you will find the 2x2 round brick is not wide enough.looks ok in LDD but too small in my opinion after seeing your cannons etc i need to rebuild a lot of mine, yours are so much more realistic HMS Triconmalee minifig scale
  18. great build Edwin have been watching this build from the start, very impressive i have to say, really faultless, attention to detail is outstanding.study the build process and learn a lot from your builds.its a shame kids nowadays are all about mobile phones tablets streaming games etc and not actually physically taking a hands on approach to pretty much anything.one thing She sure looks proud of you looking forward to your next build (only reason i come on here)
  19. from my experience and also stated on here NON LEGO PARTS USED gets banned simple !!!!!!!
