Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Waiting?? What is this "waiting" you speak of? -
They could pull a twist like they did the Mandarin. Either way, that doesn't seem like something that is necessary to keep a secret. It likely will be revealed in the first trailer

They better! Hopefully the fig isn't expensive on Bricklink either. -

If true, that's awesome! Thanks for the tip. -
I leave for a couple days, come back only to find that we're still complaining about Hoth. Give it a rest. Perhaps be grateful you're saving money.

It's not that big of a deal. I'm just glad his eyes won't be crooked, although I'm usually pretty good with the bigger stickers -
REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)
Ultron replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Licensed
Really like this set! The only things I'm not too fond of: -Generic Agent 13. Like new characters but they could've tried harder with her -Another Quinjet...could've had anything else. -Happy Cap. Seriously? Give us an angry face for him with the correct color flesh. -Cyborg face for Rhodey is dumb, but good thing I have him from before -Recycled Bucky face too. So almost all my problems are minifigs War Machine (on the outside) and Scarlet Witch are lovely though! I also love the tower, Antman, and Giant Man. I figured he would be made up of stickers, but I'm glad his face is printed at the least.- 26 replies

They should do a new, more detailed microfig mold that you can stick into a pot. Also we need a minifig sized groot
-
Definitely the most detailed superhero fig yet! It's rivaled only the new Green Goblin, for me.

That was already debunked as fake.

Looks amazing! We definitely need those guys as figs...Also Jessica Jones please! I want to put her with the detectives office

I'm probably just going to use the comic alternate face from the polybag Bucky last year but on the new body. -

I'm very happy to see that Kraven has leg printing. It's also a really pleasant surprise that Scorpion has a new tail mold. I may Bricklink General Zod and give his face to Kraven though and his legs to Black Panther... -

Ah, well I stand corrected. Perhaps the Civil War figs just stood outside because a lot of them don't when compared to past movie waves. -

It's rather sad that only 2 figs from the Civil War sets (excluding Black Widow because she's a rehash) have leg printing. Do they have a low budget on movie sets or something...? The figs are almost always cheated on with reused faces and lack of leg printing. And it doesn't even make sense because the comic sets have tons of new prints and faces in comparison. I'm starting to not like the movie sets as much...they need to aim higher and give us leg printing and new faces like Star Wars. Hell, Lor San Tekka has a new face print when he's in the movie for maybe 1 minute total I get the SW sets probably have a higher budget but it just comes off as lazy to me. -
Jakku set is so awful. Do not like the AT-TE either. Want that inquisitor though.

I definitely do not want the X-men universe to crossover. It would screw up the continuity in the MCU considering the X-men timeline is so convoluted and terribly planned.

I don't really see how they could've added more without upping the piece count by another 1000 pieces and then everyone would be complaining that it's $350. The modular claim did lead us on though. I would've like some more side walling for the base, but that could always be added on

Er...what was everyone exactly expecting?? The door is really nicely constructed and that's kind of the most important part...I can't tell how much interior is included but I'm sure there's a bacta tank and all the important parts. You can always mod and add on to it if you want.

Jeez..at least I really enjoy the figs and builds. This is Marvel's best year so far, in my opinion. Hope we can just keep upping the quality from here -
Nah..Fox Marvel stuff is a very small minority of Marvel productions these days. It don't think the interest in their movies/shows is high enough to warrant it's own thread. I think the discussion is fine here as long as we all understand they're separate universes. Hopefully that's common knowledge at this point.

I'm assuming you either 1) Didn't watch the show or 2) Didn't finish the show because Ahsoka is actually a three dimensional character and much more developed than Leia ever was. She also grows up quite a bit by the time she departs in season 5. This set honestly looks like crap from what I can see. Their price hikes for these TFA are insane and I also do not think Unkar even looks like the character. Just bad, not to mention the bright blue Luggabeast in the set.

Which is why I feel like she would want to have superheroes kept under check so that that wouldn't happen again.

Very nice! I love the chocolate room. You captured the feel really nicely in such a small space. I do wish there had been part of the chocolate river though! I also really like your Violet figures, blueberry and the regular!

I hope to. The only trouble is building ramps for either side of the bridge...can't think of a good way to do it.
