Nyx is seething from taking so much damage, and for the battle to be left in certainly no better position (and in fact probably much worse) than before. The rage is what is keeping her standing right now; keeping the blood pumping. "Yes, that was a genius plan, Chicken-man. Pure genius. We'll show them, by bleeding all over them! Dare I point out that reviving Will will leave him still with only one health, so there's a good chance he'll just go and die again, especially at that point in the order where he'll take a free hit, and I'd like to move down the order as well please, now we're all busy healing and reviving and not actually hitting anyone. There's six of us and seven of them, and we're only currently targeting four of them, so that means three free hits that we (you) are going to have to absorb." Nyx stalks away from the battle lines and prepares her healing staff to gently tap herself on the head. "At least I know how hard to hit myself" she mutters to herself.

"Oh, yes, Phil. Hi. We're you hiding a second ago? Hi. Anyway, you can poison the commoners if you want to, but that'll take aaaaages for them to die, and although that'd be fun to watch, we do kinda have other things to do today. And we're basically trading me losing 5 health, versus me losing 12 health but hopefully reducing the need for another free hit for someone else the next round. And I might see Edgar, too, but I won't count on that. I still think we'd be better off thinning the numbers, but if the rest of you want me to target poo-face, then I will. Whatever happens, I'm standing in the back row, and I'm casting Darkness magic." OoC I could have sworn Phil wasn't in the line-up I was looking at

"Phil isn't here, and I seem to remember a lot of people not enjoying those bombs last time. And I think Willy would be upset if we killed him. Even by accident. I still reckon we should thin out the minions (I can kill one with a single spell), and slobberchops over there can tickle me with a free hit if he wants to (I'm a back row kinda girl anyhow), because once we get the numbers down, you can get your healing mojo on."

"But don't you have to, like, hit him first? I mean, if you don't or anything, then yeah I'll happily darknessify his stupid face." OoC: No worries at all Zeph

"Not you again, you old goat. " Nyx rolls her eyes at the posturing of the old warlord in front of her. "Comrades, I would suggest that, given the Special attacks and the number of foes, we perhaps concentrate on the underlings here? Although... Atters I notice you have a new hat, would that be any good against this windbag? I don't understand your witchiness, but I'm going to make a start on picking off the minions, starting with.... Rogue Lion Pikeman A with Darkness magic from the back row." Nyx winks and grins in a slightly terrifying way at her intended target. OoC: That'll teach me to think too long about taking tonics/ dragon scales

"Whatever, old man. Your eyes don't match and you're starting to rot." Nyx ensures the cell is relocked behind the exiting heroes, keeping Blackenord locked up tight, before allowing some of her attention to be turned to..... Felton? She turns disdainfully from Blackenord, with a swish of her robes, and steps forward too, keeping one eye on Blackenord's cell all the while.

"Hah! What allies? Who would come for an old fool like you? And there's no way your imaginary allies could breach the city. So what would you do to me fool? Kill me again? It didn't exactly stick last time..."

Nyx had been keeping her counsel for a while. The sudden appearance and chattering of the many heroes had been... noisy, and she was just a little bit miffed that there hadn't been a big fight. Furthermore, it seemed the Chimera she'd been looking forward to putting down had already been.... put down. At least she met some nice wingy fighty flying people, but even then she'd known she was fighting to prove a point and not for beautiful destruction. Coming face to face with the man who had tried to kill her (had killed her? She still wasn't quite sure, she could only remember the pain) only fuelled the raging fire within. She controls herself, knowing that now is not a time for fighting, and storing the bitterness away for use later. "Yes, it's a funny old world isn't it? Here I am, alive and well, in fact stronger than before, and there you are locked up like the rat that you are. You're nothing but a worthless worm, and you will rot in that cage for the rest of your miserable excrement-soiled life. And do you know what? I think I will deliberately find time to come and see you, and bring with me gentle, fragrant and tantalising wafts of the free air that you will never taste. Whatever I can possibly do to make your meagre, pathetic existence even more tormented. You've achieved nothing you old fool; nothing. Your plans were foolish at best, idiotic and poorly planned. Did you really think you would get away with this? Did you really think your plans would work?" As she speaks, Nyx leans against the side of the cell, just out of reach of the bars, and fixes Blackenord with a look mixing scorn and disgust. Every so often she conjures small flames at the tips of her fingers, examines them, and wills them away again. Silently, she hopes her comrades recognise her deliberate attempts to further fluster Blackenord and let his pride do the talking.

Fantastic to see such a wonderful Sci-Fi/Friends crossover, and with such a great idea behind it too. The balance of the purple, lime green and dark azure is spot on (and both very Friends and very Sci-Fi) making a bright, yet sinister contraption for your Friends as they scratch at the surface of the (also beautifully built) town to reveal the pink beneath. A great build, with some lovely details like the handbag at the front of the cockpit. Best of luck with the ReBrick contest, and looking forward to seeing more Friends crossover MOCs soon!

You've certainly kicked off entries for the contests with a bang! This is certainly a fiesta of pink, and the combination of shades of pink with white on a black background is dramatic and quite lovely. It makes me think of the Final Fantasy series quite a bit. Aside from the colours, this is an ingenious and inventive use of LEGO parts to create a really magical creature.

Announcement! After much consideration and discussion, the Town team have decided to ADD two further categories. Firstly, the Cross-themes category (Category 3) is now split into two subsections. The original 16x16 section remains(Category 3A), but we are adding a 32x32 section to allow for larger builds (Category 3B). Secondly, we are adding an Animals Category: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The rules in the first post have been changed accordingly. This will not affect the prizes we have to give away (which, like all Town contests, will be revealed in due course!) but hopefully will increase people's creative freedom. For clarity, I shall re-post the rules in full here: A further note on entry sizes: Please note that with the exception of the Rooms Category, all dimensions quoted are maximum dimensions. The entries in the Rooms Category should be 16x16 studs only, with a maximum of 1 stud overhang. The bottom line: here at Eurobricks we want to encourage people's creativity, and so we're adding more opportunities for just that.

I know! I know! But I'll spare naming it, to save someone's blushes. People may or may not have noticed that I'm keeping track of entries in the first post (yours will appear there in due course Quarry), and there will be more information about various aspects of the contests (including this one) very soon.

"Nerwen, your good nature shines like a beacon, it really does. Don't worry about me, though, I have natural respite so I bounce right back after a fight, so save your ether. " Nyx moves over to the Rito, kneeling beside Flavius and supporting his head. "I think we've proved ourselves, as in fact you have to us. I don't think we need to fight any more. We've shown we're honourable fighters, and our cleric is willing to heal you. Please, will you now listen to our petition?" OoC Yay JimBee's back! Hope you had a good holiday. Thanks also to Zepher for keeping things moving.

"One last push guys, c'mon we nearly have him!" Nyx once more summons the power of the wind to channel at Flavius from the back row. "Barbarians definitely tolerate me healing them better than others" Nyx mutters to herself.

"Nerwen I think you're giving your all to this battle, and you've tapped into some altruistic side of yourself. It seems that subconsciously you feel it's more important to keep your teammates going. It speaks of your generosity as a healer. So while we're on a healing round, I shall thump Xander with my Healing Staff from the back row. Sorry Xander but best case scenario you'll end up with a bad headache (but full health) and worst case scenario you might be engulfed in flames (although you'll end up back where you started with your health). Don't worry, I've tried it before, but I do recommend you stand still and try not to make any sudden or distracting noises. Really it'll be fine. Probably. That way you'll hopefully be in a better position to attack with your barbaric strength. Once Flavius lands again, I'll switch back to my book and use it to channel Wind magic from the back row at him." While she speaks, Nyx picks up her Healing Staff and twirls it like a baton, occasionally glancing at Xander as if sizing him up and wondering if he'd tolerate the coming strike.
