  1. Leo should try Scheherazade next. I'm sure that will end well.
  2. Now Leo's just sending carbon copies of cheesy love letters to all the women in Heroica! Like Khorne said, don't take it too fast, or you might end up Forever Alone, Leo! I am just loving this new letter system! It's a great way to stay in contact with the heroes that are out on quests!
  3. Dear De'kra, Ah yes, I forgot, you aren't familiar with human terms. A father is a male parent. Did you have parents when you were young? The mature male who helps take care of you is the father figure. Grandfather is the father of my Father. My Father is a Shaman, but my Grandfather was a Sage. I am following in the footsteps of my Grandfather by becoming a Sage as well. Yes, I do have quite a bit of experience in this world, but my Sage training has kept me from gaining very much experience in what you speak of. Still, I do know the answer to your question, but if I'm going to have this talk with you, I'd prefer it to be in person. All I'll say is that the difference between males and females is what causes the Love Plague to be so prevalent in the Hall. Although I really shouldn't call it a 'plague'. Love really can be a wonderful thing - it just gets out of hand sometimes, much like other human emotions. That is true. By ridding the world of an evil person like Mr. Shawe, you are able to save countless others from his treachery. Still, it should be done with justice in mind, and not revenge. That's too bad. I actually sent her a message earlier today - I certainly hope it didn't distract her if she was in battle. If I see her in the Hall, I'll be sure to ask her to send you a message. Your Friend, Tomas
  4. Dear De'kra, I thank you for your concern, but you needn't worry about me. While this rogue in question definitely does not sound like a 'team player', I'm sure the trauma of facing off against beasts and whatnot will cause him to bond with his group. Oh yes, Cronk reached level fifteen while we were out on the quest, and has now joined the Paladin Order. I also reached level fifteen, and I've since fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a Sage like my Grandfather. I'm sure he would be very proud of me if he were here today. I don't believe I've been introduced to this 'Arthur', yet. Just how would I contact him to give him advice? I'd love to do what I can to clean up the mess we made. Indeed. As you say, the Shadeaux were the ones who caused the war, but we were foolish enough to follow their lead even though we all knew of the trickery they are notorious of, especially that Isaac Shawe. The wisdom I have learned has lead me to realize just how petty and foolish revenge is, but I hope I will have the chance to help make things right in Uland once again. By the way, have you spoken to Cinna recently? Out of everyone on Quest 4, I feel like I'm closest to you two - it's a shame we all had to walk different paths on our latest adventures. Your Friend, Tomas "I've got Z-Mail!"
  5. After mulling it over in his mind for a while, Tomas decides to write another letter. After dipping the quill in the ink, he writes, Dear Cinna, How have you been? Are you enjoying working for the Ziegfrieds? It's been far too long since we last spoke in person! I hope you'll return to the Hall again soon so we can catch up over dinner and drinks. Your Friend, Tomas "I've got Z-Mail!" he says, and the envelope evaporates in another pink flame. Tomas leans back in his chair again and sighs. He certainly hopes he'll get letters back from his friends.
  6. Your new title needs to be 'Sir Leo of the Friendzone'! ;D (I tease, I tease!)

  7. Today just keeps getting worse and worse! Unvote me!
  8. Hearing Valentine Ziegfried's announcement about the new magic mail system, Tomas looks up at the ceiling and thinks to himself for several minutes. "It's a nice idea in theory, but there are a million things that could go wrong with a mail system like this." he chuckles to himself. After sitting quietly for a few more minutes, Tomas shrugs. "I might as well take this opportunity to write to a few old friends." he says as he takes his feet off the table and prepares to write some letters. He stifles a yawn as he produces a quill, some parchment, and a small jar of ink from his bag. Dear De'kra, How are you? It's been quite a while since we last spoke in person. I trust things are going well on your latest adventure? Just a few weeks ago, I went out on another quest with young Leo Aragorn, and I was finally introduced to Cronk (he was our party leader at the time). Despite his reputation for 'bashing' things, he's really a gentle soul and a very good friend. I think you'd like him! If you haven't met him already, then I'd be happy to introduce you two when you get back to the Hall. I still feel responsible for what happened on Quest 4. It was my poor judgement that started that needless war, and it's been weighing heavily on my conscience ever since. I just want to say that I am very sorry for what happened. Your Friend, Tomas "I've got Z-Mail." Tomas mutters and the envelope evaporates in a pink flame. Tomas then leans back in his chair and breathes a heavy sigh. This next letter was going to take several drafts to get right.
  9. This really is a great idea. It appeals to both those who are interested in the Love Plague and those who aren't. Thanks for setting this up, Sandy! *eyetwitch*
  10. Oh man, that's hilarious, Leo gets friendzoned by one heroine, so he moves on to the next one on his list! Lather, rinse, repeat.
  11. In that case, I'm very tempted to send Isaac Shawe some hatemail.
  12. Indeed, congrats! And your new name should be Broadway-Nut (gotta have the capital 'N'). ;D

  13. Damn it, def, you got my hopes up!
  14. Who says I can't wait for more than one mafia? My Little Pony Mafia would be awesome!
  15. Sure, but you'll have to pay me back. There'll be interest, though... Oh boy, I'm looking forward to it even more now! It won't be just me in the Hall!
  16. I've been hoping for a Yakuza themed mafia game since I joined! I'm looking forward to it, badboy!
  17. Ooh, looking forward to it! With all the romance that's been going around in the Hall (and in quests), I predict that this is going to be a hilarious Valentine's Day! Hopefully there will be a chance to take Flipz's advice and buy some scrolls (if there are vendor(s), that is).
  18. I miss IMHOTEP too! :( Thanks again to both you and Panda for hosting such an awesome game and for letting me be a part of it! :D

  19. Oh, duh, just noticed that there's an actual survey. I guess I don't follow this topic closely enough. EDIT: Whoops, it appears that Sandy asked everyone to stop. I really do need to follow this topic more closely. Sorry! Anyways, back on topic, do any of the QMs think that their quests will be ending soon? The only available people who signed up for Scubacarrot's quest are me and Jedi master Brick.
  20. After having a nice pint of buttermilk (sages don't drink ), Tomas walks over to the questboard and notices that he was not chosen for Quest 24. He scowls and walks back upstairs to the tavern, takes a seat, and props his feet up on the table to take a little snooze. It's just so lonely here in the Hall! "I hope one of the quests ends soon - I think I might die of boredom if this goes on much longer." he mutters to himself before drifting off to sleep again.
  21. If I had to choose an alignment for Tomas, it would probably be just 'Good'. He's truly a good person at heart, but he understands that sometimes the law isn't always fair. Hopefully everyone will see a bit more of his personality as time goes on. As for when I joined Heroica, I was obsessing over The Baritones 3 and reloading the Wargames and Mafia games forum several times a minute when Sandy first posted it. It looked interesting, so I joined, and I'm glad I did! It's really a great game!
  22. Ooh, thanks, iElkie! I'm not really digging those riding club sets, but the advent calendar is adorable! Skis in aqua blue(?), new torsos for the Friends, and lots of yummy little details! I never spring for the advent calendars normally, but I think I might just have to make an exception for this one! And I think I see a red spatula/kitchenware set in 3184.
  23. Happy birthday Quarryman and Sirens-Of-Titan!
  24. As someone already said, for the price of a portable scanning device you could buy a bunch of random packets! Well, at least we have confirmation of the bag colors.
