Sure, there was no ill intent, just intent to get money for nothing from other people's purchases when they are tricked into clicking your hidden affiliate links. Declare your links and people might click them anyway, but hiding them is just plain wrong.

How were they packed when you sent them? I see you have a few negs due to poor packaging. Can you ask him to provide a photo of the damaged items? I think one thing you definitely have going for you is the detail in the pictures you posted with the listing so he can't just pull out old damaged figs he already has a take a photo of them as it will be obvious they are not the same ones.

I think you will find he was pointing out the spelling mistake, not correcting who owned who :)

I read on another Lego forum I go to that two people on there actually purchased from this guy :0 One has received a tracking number already.... However I also read on another forum of a seller that was selling a lot of the exact same items (apart from the Death Star) who got suspended recently so this is most likely a reincarnation of that seller. The way the scam works is the seller ships the item and provides a tracking number, giving them at least a week to funnel all the money out of paypal...then the package arrives....and it a small padded envelope containing a rubber band....I would say Good Luck with paypal in this instance as the seller will be able to provide them with a tracking number and signature proof that you received it when you signed for the envelope...obviously the weight of numbers of people claiming item not received from that same seller will prove to paypal that you are not making it up...but at the end of the day I wouldnt trust paypal to cough up the cash if "technically" they can get out of it....

But several days ago 1 GBP was 1.5 AUD and now 1 GBP is 1.6 AUD so its no better than the AUD>USD exchange still 10 cents worse off than a week or so ago.

I'm glad you guys are confident....I have been freaking out for the last week about the exchange rate....each time I look at it it's gotten worse, across all the currencies I regularly use - USD, GBP, EURO..... I have no idea how this stuff works and the reason for our dollar losing so much ground lately is not obvious to me......it seems to me like it should be going the other way...but clearly its not...

My order for $150 at Fishpond came through fine after a small delay...They have had it up at that price a few more times since too so its weird that yours fell through...

They are pretty good, and shipping is substantially better value with multiple sets. I ordered a few large sets from them a few months ago, arrived in less than a week, delivered by UPS. Sets were in great condition too. As someone mentioned above there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for what will ship to us and what won't....its just a case of putting it all in your cart and trying to checkout.
