  1. I've had my moments as well.
  2. Worst case, go all witch hunt on their megablocks and give out new titles.
  3. Shadows

    GLaDOS

Absolutely perfect! You can almost hear her... "Oh, it's you, how have you been? I've been really busy, being dead, you know, after you MURDERED me..."
  4. Well, you did accomplish one thing with that little rant, you can now consider yourself banned from all future EB Games shipboard activities. Good job!
  5. I was privately contacted by Lt. Jones and given a long story about his supposed role, it fit fairly well except for one thing, it relied on a picture clue as part of it's explanation. Then... ...this destroyed that. While it doesn't guarantee that it isn't all true, it certainly casts enough doubt on the whole thing to make a vote the only logical choice, especially since Jones was foolish enough to reveal a real 'power role' while trying to defend his own claim. Vote: Lieutenant Zachary Jones (Flipz)
  6. One scumbag down! And one with incredibly ugly hair, so it's like a double win. And he talks to himself like a freak, so triple win! Sounds interesting, and maybe the kind of lead I won't feel bad following. Hey, let's take our victories wherever they come from, vig or sk. Whoever did that, good job! I will more than happily take that.
  7. I don't do out of character comments in game, or game influencing comments out of game, but I felt the need to say this somewhere. I'm very busy right now and not participating as much as I'd like and I'm sorry for that. I will do the best I can to actively participate, it's just going to be be sort of hit or miss. It also seems like most of the action is on a different schedule than mine, so I'm not ignoring the game or any of you, I'm just not available all of the time. It's his destiny, it seems.
  8. I'm happy to contribute all I can, the problem is that right now, that's nothing. I don't even find the daily ramblings particularly suspicious, it just looks like a bunch of noobs to me so far.
  9. The scum are rarely stupid enough to react in a way that is obvious enough to be useful. As for not wanting to be accused, when you're innocent it's frustrating and it gives the scum a chance to take advantage of town confusion to get their job done. It isn't quite as clear cut as you seem to think. Either way, we obviously have to do something, I just hate this blind portion of the game of life. That's good, because neither can I. I haven't asked that we not discuss matters, I've asked that we not act in haste lest we wish for a repeat of our first day of failure. I think we can agree there. It's funny you should say that because I had this idea, but it doesn't relate to our current situation so I'll save it for now. It's a nice thing to hope for, but not always very effective. It's rare for scum to be as careless as they would have to be to provide anything useful. You, for example, probably aren't scum, based on my own experiences, but who knows? It just isn't as simple as people think it is and I'd like to see caution. Well, we certainly don't want to bore you to death, not with a hasty town, a reckless vigilante and a team of scum who could do it instead.
  10. You know, when people don't know anything, they should shut their mouths and not hurt us more by getting the wrong people killed. The only people who know anything solid at this point are the scum and any investigator we may have, assuming we haven't already foolishly killed them in our mindless guessing. Let's review. Talk too much, get accused. Accuse someone, get accused. Don't talk because you don't have anything helpful to say, get accused. I'm fairly certain that tomorrow, if we don't get lucky today, it'll be vote for someone who turns out innocent, get accused. Brilliant, let's go with your plan. Amusingly, the person you support killing today is the one who accused me, for the same reason you just listed above, inactivity. It was idiotic from them and it's idiotic from you, in my opinion, but hey, let's not be inactive, lest we be accused for that, so instead I'll follow your lead and see where it takes us this time. Vote: Arnold Daly (darkdragon) Happy? I, for one, hope it's right, but if it is, it's pure luck. We could use some good luck right about now. If, in the next few hours, another vote comes along that could actually pass, I'll change accordingly. It isn't like we're doing this with any logic or knowledge.
  11. Because I 'haven't contributed anything'. No one has contributed anything, aside from accusations that got innocent people killed. If that's our standard, I'll pass on 'contributing' at this point. As tempting as it may be to return the favour, I have no way of telling if you're scum or just making a poor decision, so I'll wait to cast my vote until after I've seen what the rest of the crew thinks. I've had nothing to add and don't want to see a repeat of day 1. I will continue to do little until I can actually do something meaningful, which so far, no one has. Let's not confuse talking with helping, let's limit ourselves to results, and so far our results have been miserable.
  12. If I had known they were mistaken then, I would have said so and not voted at all. The point I am making is that now, in retrospect, we can clearly see how stupid we were and need to learn from that to avoid handing ourselves over to the scum. Yes, exactly. At the very least, we would have had an opportunity to consider the possibility, and we might not have ended up losing another member of the loyal crew.
  13. I'm asking that they don't repeat their mistake, and yes, they made a horrible call yesterday since they killed a member of the town. Would we really have made the same stupid decision to lynch today based on the clear mistaken thoughts from yesterday? If so, I'm a little concerned for our chances.
  14. Or it could be a really elaborate scum plot to throw us off.
  15. Yes yes, everyone posture and express your shock and concern over the night. The truth is, one of you is probably lying about being so broken up, and we've got a major loss to recover from without being fooled by that deception. Day 1, unfortunately, is always a shot in the dark, day 2 needs to be the beginning of a return to the light. None of this chatter is any more useful than the crap you were all spewing yesterday. The problem here is that anyone with useful information will put themselves in danger if they step forward, and the rest of us are going to have to guess and sit around until they do, that means we need to organize something, and at this stage I don't see how to do it. Note to the vigilante. You're a megablocking retard. Yeah, I can say that, I'm a megablocking admin Chief Astrobiology Officer and it's in my job description. Don't do it again until we have something more than 'oh geez, he looks funny to me,' like some evidence maybe.
  16. I must admit, this isn't exactly a compelling bandwagon, but it seems to be the popular one, maybe we'll get lucky. Vote: Ensign Peter Robbins (KingoftheZempk) Been there, done that, still have the scars.
  17. At least it's clearer. I'm not sure what kind of helpful suggestions we can really hope for today, but it's still important to watch how people behave, so there's that.
  18. You people talk too much without actually saying anything. I am certain that if we approach this matter scientifically, we can deal with these scummy traitors and resume our important work without much delay. Carry on with your blathering.
  19. Luuucy! What? *adds Metagaming to the topic title*
  20. Hey everyone, I'm Lieutenant Richard Francis, chief astrobiology officer, but you can just call me Ricky. Unless I outrank you. Or you're a lovely lady, in which case you can call me whatever you want, just call me. Wait... mac n' cheese? You can call me first! Who are these 'Shadows' of which you speak? As an astrobiologist, I can assure you that there's no such thing as resurrection, so don't start that kind of nonsense already.
  21. Finally! 1. [redacted] 2. A vast opportunity for profit! ~ Cave Johnson, President and CEO of Aperture Laboratories, Inc. 3. Two plus two is... ten... in base four. I'M FINE! It's true, I saw them!
  22. GOGOGO! Don't wait for the lazy dragon to approve you, go now! Well, where is it???
  23. Happy Birthday, Sinner! Cake and stuff. I'm bad at these. Only after midnight.
  24. The SW bloggers aren't actual EB staff, so they have no access to the ACP reports, just to clarify that point.
  25. Very cool little set, a beach battle pack of sorts. I hope we can look forward to the same concept applied to some of the other CMF themes, especially Castle and Sci-Fi. Thanks for sharing this.
