I believe it's: From set 7047, Coast Watch HQ (2003). Yes, it would make an excellent base for a port or harbour, I've always meant to get a couple. There are a total of 10 on Bricklink, all from the same seller at $15 a pop, which isn't too bad considering the size, but the shipping from the US might annoy you.

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Now I'll always wonder just which way you really intended it to be. I'm not even sure you know. I actually think the game will smooth out once a) everyone shows the hell up, b) we kill someone and make a full day cycle. He's right Hinck, we have to learn to agree. I think we should vote him off before he flip-flops again. Agreed? -

Remind me to kick your collective megablocks in any game that involves the process of elimination and deductive reasoning sometime, ok? And no, it does not makes sense. If you vote for a character because you know who the user is, you're just voting for the user. There is no reward for actually trying to apply logic and figure things out that way. Geez. The point is to either force people to reveal themselves (which has happened so far), figure it out by logic (also happened so far), OR wait for the wizard to reveal it (he's an old blabber). You two were almost making sense for a minute... clearly the castle gas got to you again. Now we're back to my original point. Might as well just reveal who is playing what right from the start. There is no advantage to hiding it this way, it'll actually be harder. Night actions are not a good reason either, even a lowly character could have a powerful night move when used at the right opportunity. Aint it funny how the night moves... When you just dont seem to have as much to lose... The gas... it's getting to me. -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm beginning to think that the whole castle is being flooded with some kind of madness inducing gas. Oh, hello flying Staudie. Shouldn't you be getting a show ready? I forgot. Well, some things never change, even in this crazy world. *camera fades* -
imperialshadows: When you need a good jerk.â„¢ That can't be right. I was never confused at all. So, for example, that would be: Vote: Atoll Dweller (fisheyes the fishy fishcatcherman) or Unvote: Atoll Dweller (fisheyes the fishy fishcatcherman) Ok, I think we're all a lot clearer on this now. Why did you have to go and distract the whole thing with this silly conversation? Geez, some people. Back on topic! We really do suck at this.

K-13 Black Knight territory Grass Plains: "Coming Soon: The Temporarily Misplaced Pool Hall" Master Pent. It's been a long time. Has it? You don't remember me, do you? I don't think so. Wait! You're that kid. What kid? When I was an apprentice of Aluvar, there was this kid who used to torment me with terrible jokes and borrow my books and generally get underfoot. Sounds like Shadows, but that isn't possible, you're far too old I mean ... it was a long time ago, maybe you're mistaken? Oh no, it's him. Go on lad, tell her. Of course it's me. I had so much fun with all of Aluvar's apprentices when I would visit. Do you know how many years ago that had to be? And? You're... AND? Nothing. Nothing at all. I... huh. Well lad, perhaps you could make it up to me now? Right, you want to hitch a ride back to the castle. I think we could stop there on the way. On the way where? On the way WHEN. You're not making sense again. Sure he is, dear. You wizards are all the same. That's what I was saying! Alyss and Diana wander off to discuss wizards and their eccentricities while Shadows, Flangdor, Pent, and Adrick gather together. Ok everyone, I'm going to go return Master Pent home, check on EB News and go heckle some poor oafs on this Mystery Castle gameshow I heard about, then I'll be right back. ME! ME! ME! I wanna come along! Ok, Bluervo, you can come too. YAY! I should stay here and help the others reach Mount Sophia. Yes, I think so too. Just be ready when Aluvar needs the Council. I will. What about me? Well Flangdor, maybe you could get Boney to talk to us some more? I could try. I don't think he likes me. You don't think anyone likes you. Do they? Well... I'm learning to tolerate you. Really? Thanks! We're going now, Be back in a few minutes. Shadows and Pent step closer and Bluervo lands on his shoulder as he recites a few words, sending them off in a puff of smoke. BONEY! I'm not coming down! Please! I know that they were using you, just like they were using me! Doesn't matter. They won't trust me. They will, in time. They didn't trust me at first either. But they do now? I think so. I know they're beginning to, more and more. Fine. Boney lands on a stump next to Flangdor. So, what is all of this really about? I wish I knew. My master told me that we were trying to stop a war, but it looks like they were just starting one. Indeed. They didn't tell me the truth either. Well, at least he's been destroyed, I don't have to worry about him again. Actually, he wasn't. The guards were, but he had left on some kind of secret mission when I was discovered. Oh no... I'm sorry. I don't even know where he went. They didn't tell me much, I don't think they trusted me either. I guess we have a lot of work ahead of us, if we're going to help get all of this fixed. Yes we do. I think our best bet is to stick to Shadows and the Princess, they're good people. That Shadows is a little weird. Really? I hadn't noticed. You're a little weird too. I suppose so. Flangdor chuckles a bit as a puff of smoke appears. Shadows walks out of it with Bluervo on his shoulder. Ok, we're back. He's all settled in, we had his diaper changed and he's down for a nap. What are you talking about? Does he always make so little sense? Trust me, ladies, it's very funny. Sure. Good luck with this one. Yeah, thanks. Enough standing around, we've got things to do. Bluervo, keep an eye on Grandoth. Alyss, Flangor and I are going to find her brother. Aluvar and Pinky are... well, wherever they are. Druth Castle. Really? Where else would they be? Good point. Oh! I bet that Miss Flangbottom is all over him! YEAH! HAHAHAHA! Could be worse. Yeah, she's pretty decent for an old dame. Watch out Bluervo, Shadows might get offended if you talk about old people. Why? He's not any older than I am. What is it with you ... people. You know what I mean. Who's being offensive now? I'm sorry Bluervo. Really. Sure. It's fine. I'm not people. You don't have to rub it in though. I... oh... Bluervo, Shadows and Flangdor break out laughing. You! Impossible! That's it! We're going before we have to write any more of these long chapters explaining why we're all still standing around in this stupid field. What? Later folks, it's been fun, but we've got to blow this popcicle stand! Shadows casts a quick teleportation spell, taking Alyss, Flangdor and Boney with him. What did he say? It would be hard to explain, but it was very funny! You would say that, wouldn't you? Bluervo laughs as Diana rolls her eyes.

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I don't care if we're all confused, as long as it's clear now. Ok, so, explain that again... I get it, really. What you meant to put in the rules was: To vote, one needs to: VOTE <character> and <username> Would that have been so complicated? -
I am currently banging out my next chapter. Aren't you just atwitter with anticipation?

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
NOW WE'RE ON THE SAME PAGE! It seems that dragonator will allow us to just say, "vote: <username>" without saying what character that is. That defeats the whole point of the game to me, and I think you just said you agreed. Wanna take me to dinner? -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I understand the point of not revealing, I was just trying to harass them into it, of course. Isn't that how this is played? But it's also exactly why I thought that voting should be based on character. The mystery is figuring out who people are, as much as figuring out what they may have done. It's like playing Clue. YES! Or Cluedo for the rest of the world. You have to collect information until you think you've figured out who it is, then hope you're right. Plus, saying, "I hate that guy who keeps repeating himself!" isn't anywhere near as fun as voting off Lord Savril. Well, it might be. Night actions do sound interesting, I must admit. I need to get some of those. He really doesn't like us very much. I've noticed. Then again, do you remember what he did to the last audience? Oh yeah, Staudie had to clean up the mess... Ok, I'll try to keep the audience over here where it doesn't matter as much. -
I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone of a few basic rules of etiquette important to this thread. The people who fill your requests do so voluntarily. They take time out of their lives to produce something that they may not have any real interest in, so that you can make a figure you want. It can take a surprising amount of time to do a nice decal. As such, it's probably not a good idea to be demanding or impatient. It would be nice if all requests could be filled immediately, but that just isn't possible. Not all customizers make all kinds of decals, and not all of them have time for large projects. So, if you need something immediately, or a lot of things, search the indexes, check Brickshelf, hit the net or fire up a paint program and give it a try, you just might be surprised at the results. Otherwise, make a polite request and wait patiently. You might get lucky, you might not, but you'll have a better chance than if you harass us. Sound fair?
-
Yep, you did. EXACTLY! The bold part is why we should vote based on character and not player. I thought we were told to stay in character, even if we don't reveal them. Our characters are unaware that they are the pawns of users, manipulating their bits and byes for our own amusement, so they should be voting based on their fellow fictional characters. If it wasn't an issue, wouldn't you just announce who everyone is right from the start? Whatever the case, this is my first one of these, so I don't know what the hell I'm doing. That sounds like a good plan. We wouldn't want to kill him until after we've given him a hard time. Unvote: Damien/sdpirate/whatever. Bring on the doctor! *points at Calvin's fish eyes!* They aren't doing a very good job at this, are they? No, not really. Maybe we could help? I don't think that's allowed. But I already know who did it! You couldn't possibly. Sure I could! Bluervo whispers into Shadow's ear. Well I'll be damned.

Custom Wild West Fig: Gold Miner
Shadows replied to Hinckley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's a good plan. You'll have a miner and I'll have a prospector, once I steal the bottom of your suspenders now that I have a brilliant idea how to finish off those suspenders! -
I thought Grandoth and Bluervo signed up for the trip to the mountain thingy. They're still on for that, if you want. Adrick too. Shadows could just teleport Pent back home. Feel free to make use of his magic. Alyss, Shadows and Flangdor intend to leave shortly though, to go find her brother.

Who is responsible for the renaissance of Fabuland?
Shadows replied to Siegfried's topic in Special LEGO Themes
You know, it makes me look taller. I'm a good 7'8" in that one. Oh well, at least imperialshadows is easier to spell than Hincklerdinklery. Except when people spell it ImperialScouts. -
Custom Wild West Fig: Gold Miner
Shadows replied to Hinckley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ok, seriously dude, get out of my brain. Back when Klaus-Dieter posted his miners, I had the idea of converting Belloq to a miner with suspenders. I did a couple of experimental ones but couldn't get the suspenders to my satisfaction, so I put them aside to come back to later. I'll show you those now... Clearly, you got the suspenders right, which is where I was stuck, but I like my collar overlap more. Either way, GET OUT MY BRAIN! Oh, and nice job. You could have switched to black legs and hidden your misalignment, but you didn't. I respect that. That's even the hat I was going to use. Yes, the black one, as opposed to the more common brown one. Jerk. -
I should change my vote to your face. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Isn't the point to figure things out, not just get rid of the annoying users? Do I suddenly sound defensive? Seriously though, it is the character, not the player who we should be voting out here, or I've missed the whole point of the game. And it's nice to see that people have finally realised that the doctor needs to go, since he didn't bother showing up for the game. Let's kill him and move on, people! We need justice!

A very nice little review of a pretty nice little set that I wish I'd bought between 1 and 10 of. Just for the griffin. Oh well. Your review has shown me that it's useful for more than just that, so maybe I'll try to pick one up someday. Can't have too many black capes, books, or printed things. Speaking of which: The gray thing is technically a plume, like any castle plume, except in this case it's a feather (presumably from the griffin), and made from the mold to the old Indian feathers in the Wild West sets. It's a case of an old part coming back for a slightly new use, in a new colour. Beyond that, the "stone print" tile is a bundle or rolled up blanket or package, depending on where it's used. I don't think it's ever meant to be a stone. It was used as a rolled up pack on the back of the Star Wars speederbikes, for example. Nice pics, plenty of useful information. I'd give this review an A+ Thanks for doing it!

In the Audience: Hey! It's Lord Kenneth! No, he's an actor. But he's the actor that plays Lord Kenneth! Well, he does look familiar. I'll be, it is him. I knew it! You two really need to grow up. Look who's talking! Wait! That guy sleeping over there, the one that keeps muttering something about being hit on the head... Looks like he crashes more than just your show, huh? Finkley? Stinkley? Wrinkly? Something like that.

If it's the stuff I post in colour, you can safely ignore all of it, it's just the audience making jokes most of the time. You'd have to read the EBRP regularly to get it. Now see, there we agree. Who assumes the throne when a king dies like this? The family. He's definitely on my list, but not as high as the doctor, cook, or cellar keeper. If Mike is involved, he had to get the poison somewhere (the doctor). If he isn't, he could just be a scapegoat for the real killer, who would have had to use the cook or cellar keeper to add poison to the food or wine. Ultimately, where does the poison come from? You know, it keeps coming back there. I hope I know how to do this right. That's what she said! Bluervo, stop that, this is getting exciting! I've seen it before. Really? Sure, it was in an episode of Law and Order: Medieval Crimes Unit I always meant to watch that ... Shhhhh! VOTE: Damien (a doctor and herbalist) He had access to poison and poisonous herbs by the nature of his work. He would know how much and how to administer them. He would be trusted enough to visit the king in bed. If I'm wrong, I'd strongly suggest he speak up now! Who is with me here?

Did I forget to mention that Adrick is Aluvar's brother? Oops. I invision him as the Aluvar of the area, so he will be more than happy to stay with your group and guide you wherever you need to go. He knows people. He's been places. He's old, but Aluvar type old, which means he can get stuff done. Please feel free to use him accordingly, and I might pop in with a bit of action for him as well. I do plan to split Shadows, Alyss and Flangdor back to their own plot shortly, which is the search for Rangdar, her brother (the one the skellies kidnapped to replace with Flangdor). I expect that Master Pent will want someone to take him home now. I'm not sure who that will be. Maybe he's on his own.

Please don't kick our fuss. It bites back. Uh, geez. It's been 10 days after this stuff sat unindexed for years. I was planning on monthly updates to make it worthwhile. I'll update the first post accordingly so I can point at it when people are in a hurry. What do you think this is, anyway, the Fabuland Builder's Guild? I hear they have a real stud of an indexer over there. Maybe you ought to try to join it, Rushy McGottaHaveItInAHurryPants. Ok, that really cracked me up. Seriously, monthly updates to maintain what little sanity I have. Thank you for your understanding.

K-13 Black Knight territory Grass Plains (Former location of The Lost Tavern) What? Oh, right. Well, you know Master Pent, of course. This is Flangdor, he's a wizard friend of Aluvar's, I think. Well, he's with Shadows. Hello Pri... Shadows? Would that be the handsome man in the oddly interesting clothing over there, talking to the priest? Uh, yeah. Poor guy. He was beaten by accountants and lawyers once, so now he has to wear that eyepatch. It's a really sad story. Mmmm, sound fascinating. Grrr... Alyss and Diana walk over and join Shadows and Adric, who are quietly discussing matters. I'd like to introduce... Oh, there is no need. I am already well aware of the Princess Diana. Adric bows respectfully toward the princess. Princess? We seem to well supplied with those these days. Hey, I'm Shadows. Diana extends her hand toward Shadows. As he is about to take it, Alyss grabs him by the arm, pulling him to the side. If you'll excuse us, we need to have a word. Be right back! Uh, sure. Hmmm. Alyss and Shadows take a few steps away from the rest of the party. Look, I don't care one way or the other, but I just thought I should tell you that she's not your type. My type? What's my type? Well, I don't really ... Yet you presume to tell me that she isn't. Hey, I'm just trying to help you out here. I see. You wouldn't happen to be my type, would you? Me? Oh, you're not going to turn this around and make it about me! I... Shadows reaches out, placing one hand around Alyss' waist and the other behind her neck, and pulls her into a long, passionate kiss. She resists at first, then realises that resisting is exactly what she doesn't want to do, at which point she throws herself fully into it, nearly knocking Shadows backwards. Uh, well. It's nice weather we've been having. Yes. I suppose. So... how did you come across us? I felt the distrubance in the magical flow and came to investigate. I am part of a sect of priests entrusted with, well, you don't really want to know all of that. Suffice it to say that I help people in need. You were. You're as mysterious as Aluvar and that Shadows character. I wouldn't be surprised. You know, that's just the sort of thing that Aluvar would say too! I have known Aluvar since, well, the beginning. The beginning of what? Time. Right. Like I said, you're all the same. It runs in the family. What? Aluvar is my brother. Shadows and Alyss finish their kiss just in time to hear that revelation. I love you. I know. A moment passes. Brother? Oh, you must be Great Uncle Adric! Of course! You knew you had an Adric in the family and didn't think to ask? You have an Adric in your family too. Really? I have no idea. Shadows! You know, Aluvar has been looking for you. I'm as hard to find as he is, I'm afraid, though I wasn't trying to avoid him. Oh, I'm sure, it's just that he's trying to reunite the Council of Five. Ah. I never imagined that would be possible again, but with the Queen's return, I see no reason why we can't meet. I assume it is this deception of a war that we need to deal with? Aluvar always said you were the bright one in the family. Good to see you've kept up with current affairs. I'm quite pleased to see that your skills are as finely tuned as they are, given your general distaste for the whole thing. You know about that, eh? It isn't that I don't appreciate the gift, I just prefer doing things myself. I must admit, time travel has been a blast though. They say it will age you prematurely. I don't look a day over, well, I certainly don't look my age, I know that much. No, but does she know how old you are? I don't care! Alyss grabs Shadow's arm again. She really loves that arm. You were right earlier. Of course. What about? You said I had an Adric in the family. You really do? Well, I will. Ah. OH!
-
What is it with wizards and their big hats? Bluervo, be quiet! Why don't you make me! There is guilt in silence. I'm beginning to think I'd like to see the good doctor dangling from the end of a rope. And what of the cellar keeper, cook and servant? Perhaps this is our band of traitors?

Star Wars Custom: Luke Skywalker, Hoth
Shadows replied to Shadows's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
 So let me see now... I need to do them bordered, unbordered, regular AND mirrored. 4 version for each colour variation. I'm gonna go do those 8 versions of Henry Jones Sr. now. He really does make a decent Willy Wonka. Who knew? Honestly, these look damn good in a mirror. Your printing, trimming, application and coating are all top notch. I wish I could manage that, I think I'd try putting together full figures and selling a few just to buy more supplies. People get some fairly stupid prices for the crappiest customs sometimes. Thanks again!
