Feel free to beat me up (preferably with a large Lego set) for posting off topic, but that is great mono-rail. I would go and buy one instantly if it wasn't for the silly prices... http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invXre...69690&invType=F http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPriceGuide.asp?S=6399-1 ...of monorails. I will be sure to!

Wow! That would be some battle pack. How am I supposed to buy this AND the MTT as well as all the other sets in different themes that I want? Well Lego?

Brickshelf FIND: Really Impressive Dragon
Siegfried replied to Starwars4J's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That is my favourite Lego dragon now. I was hoping that he had a picture there good enough for a wallpaper but I can't say that I like any of the angles. It sure makes me want to get back to my half-finished dragon. -
Thats pretty good. Perhaps I should make one to hold off the hunger pangs until they appear in a store here. Probably wouldn't be as fun to swoosh though.

Out of curiosity I just checked Bricklink; 31 in stock. Looks like I would be interested as well. The pictures you provided seem to have a larger visor than the official version.

I second that motion. I love steam-punk.

I wish I did the same. Interestingly I grew disillusioned with Lego when they started printing different heads and giving the pirates guns. For some reason it really bothered me at the time. Luckily I am over it now! I wish you luck in your holy cause. I have tried to convert my wife but have failed. But it doesn't matter; I have kids. My daughter spends hours on the Lego site playing games, not realising that she is slowly being brain-washed. Ha! Triumph will be mine!

I like it. Currently I am sorting my pieces and I have a lot of grey. I think I have found something to do with it all! (I probably don't have enough free windows though.) Do you have any plans to compensate for the side walk (or footpath depending on country) height difference?

Indeed. I almost feel voyeuristic reading this...

Thanks very much for posting this. Your right; I don't like how you have done this, but I was curious at what results you can get. My "favourite" is the bottom one. It looks almost like a Roman short sword now. I also have too many of those swords and I am very glad that Lego have brought in new ones as well as bringing back the old ones.

I haven't seen that site before. He is pretty good, even though he is too much of a modder for my taste...

Indeed. I don't look forward to the Australian prices. Often the price is USDx2. (The Millenium Falcon is like that; $950 AUD!) I sell stuff over the internet, often to Americans, and I wish I knew where Lego got their exchange rates from because it hasn't been like that since 2000! Any advice on how to do that? I tend to think Raiders of the Lost Ark due to the classic rolling stone ball scene, but I could be biased as I watched Raiders last night! (I am watching Temple of Doom tonight.)

Probably, but I still am curious. Do you have any pictures?

Welcome to the happy place that is Eurobricks. I like the Delorean as well. I might actually borrow part of that design; I have been considering making a 6-wide Delorean on train wheels for a while and yours is about the right size...

But (while more likely) this interpretation isn't as funny and it leave me with no chance to recieve free Lego from EB members.

I really want this set. The colours (IMHO) are way more usefull than the 4956 house, even though I am considering buying that as well... I love the new third design. I hope there are instructions for all three, and going by 4953 and 4939 there probably will be. On the subject of the new Creator sets, I have been surprised at the absence of ideas. I was reading a the blog of the guy who designed the Fast Flyers set... http://sideshowjamie.livejournal.com/12065.html ...and he says that there was supposed to be "INSPIRATION" pictures for a "Speedboat" and a "Space Shuttle". I bought that set, and there were no idea pictures at all. Anyone know why Lego decided to skip them? Anyone besides me miss them? I loved the ideas in the previous sets.

Enjoy your stay. I lurked for years before I decided to join. I wonder how many other lurkers there are out there. Yes, I am talking to you. No, not him, you! Join now!

I propose a meeting at my house, next weekend. (Not this weekend, too late notice.) All attendees must bring me 1 (one) new Mars Mission or Castle set.

I think so. The old one is not suitible and you can't have Indy without a whip.

I am from Australia. I am going out tomorrow and I will look out for this. "Dwarfs Mining" sounds great...

Welcome to Eurobricks. I like the engine; especially how it fits more than one figure. It looks realistic. I have to modify mine like that...
