  1. They were just the sets we both had free at the time. The Harry Potter set was added as a laugh, and maybe we shouldn't have as the colours from that set clashed the most. :-P I did need many of the pieces from it though!
  2. Thanks! *sweet* I feel bad now, I should have been less lazy and did a search myself... :-$
  3. That is incredible! *wub* Do you have a link? It looks almost rendered... 8-|
  4. Thanks! *wub* Mmmmm creamy clam. 8-| Now I have! Cool! *sweet* You probably do have a better voice than me. Is that Jocko on stage or am I just plain wrong?
  5. I try, but generally fail. :-$ You can see at least two loose pieces there, and that poly bag near the cup is 7602. Neither do I; that is supposed to be my coffee table! :-D That would be cool! I keep a sledge hammer near my door for strange visitors. I promise to not strike first if you turn up. :-P I haven't given up on it yet. My original idea was to make a Lego shop. I love that little house. Mine is not quite complete unfortuantly. I too semi want a return to the old days as I could then make a more compact layout. But ultimately you can still make things the old way if you choose. I though I would be subtle! Here's a better shot of where they live at the moment. Jocko bought some new pants as his old ones were too cold! :-D Sorry, I plan to protect you with my trusty bucket. What would EB be without you? :'-( Well I have said before I have 50,000 pieces. :-P
  6. Ohh. :-$ I thought I remembered it wrong , but it was about 15 years ago so I don't feel too bad. :-D You probably have a better voice than me then... :'-(
  7. ...and 12 days later I oblige... :-$ Sorry I have been busy. *wacko* Going anti-clockwise around the room. (If you want clockwise start at the bottom.) Part of Sinnerton (including my unfinished ferris wheel) and shelves full of MOCs and sets. Below Sinnerton is boring non-Lego stuff. I hope to soon find another home for it all so then I have an excuse to buy more Lego! *sweet* Close up of the shelves. I got it for free from HMAS Perth when it decommissioned and it is very heavy. I used to use it for a fish tank that covered the entire top. I now hope to turn it into a space display. (More for general MOCs than Star Wars MOCs/sets.) My supposed Lego workbench. I take photos in the area to the left. The ice cream tubs are full of half finished projects and/or sorted Lego. Below is more of the same as well as my sorting bin. My supposed programming workbench with my under-sea theme sets and MOCs on top. Many of these will fall in the sorting bin soon. :'-( Since this room is officially for work :-$ I have a router, printers and a file server in here for work purposes. I do try to disguise it though. :-P The second shelf with the white folders is where I keep my instructions. (The Viking longboat has been modded slightly so there are ten rowers.) Most of my Technic sets including the *wub* *wub* Bulldozer. *wub* *wub* The crane is slightly modded so it has a Technic man in the crane cab. I did it when I only had that set so it was hard. I should try and improve it now... 8-| Behind Sinnerton you can see some of my Lego boxes. After much resistance I flatened most of them. I can see myself being forced :'-( to throw them out soon. Ahghghhhhhhhghh! *sing* The martians are attacking Sinnerton! I made this about a year ago but it is still unfinished. Another Sinnerton shot. For the curious the blue is just cardboard. When I made this layout I wanted to have a dockyard as well as the trains. I made a wharehouse but I broke it when I bought the train station as everything needed to be moved and there just wasn't room for it. The problem with that was I made the wharehouse as a justification to buy the container stacker and now I simply don't have a big enough dockyard for it. :'-( To finish, another Sinnerton photo. The red building is a Cafe corner rip off that took too many of my good pieces to do the bottom, leaving little for the top. In short, I don't like it so it will probably be trashed. It does give something for my workmen to do though. :-D I was forced to modify my train station platform with rounded edges as otherwise there was no room for it. Other than that it unchanged. You can also see the motor for my Ferris Wheel. It works surprisingly well, but since I didn't have enough pieces for a second wheel it made the car design too hard. Failures, failures, failures whereever I look! :'-( Well that's it. Feel free to ask any questions or for more detailed photos, and sorry again Stauder for taking so long.
  8. Well there is that as well! When in doubt, reconfigure the deflector grid and create a new word! :-D Unfortunatly, IMHO there never has been a true Sci-Fi TV show. All of them are just Future/Space Fantasies; putting something in the future does not make it Sci-Fi. For example Firefly. Great show, has many highly realistic elements, but it was designed to be, and is, a western in space. But I can rant about this for hours so I..... wont! :-$

    Mega One

I love it! *wub* It's almost perfect and the joints are very smart. Did you deliberatly miss the chest stud? I look forward to the rest. *sweet*
  10. None at all. It is just a game after all. I would have been a bit grumpy though if TheBrickster decided to make the leg wound stay. 8-| It wasn't that much, and they were all glancing blows on his hard hat. X-D I've been meaning to tell you that you play a very good annoying Star Trek geek! X-D Have you ever been a Star Trek fan? I used to be one, but the lack of continuity, and the latter shows, killed my interest. I think he cuts and pastes them from lyric websites. That's what I did anyway.... :-P
  11. Oh, we're harmless :-D , and no one on this ship would shoot anyone... I'm sorry. I was out of line. :-X Sorry to be a party pooper, but those containers can't be opened. Seems to break the laws of physics if you ask me. ;-) Firefly just happens to be my favourite TV show. It is the only show that I like every episode. :'-( Star Trek is almost the opposite! Yes, I think the Capt'n already agree to that, but it all got confusing when the help arrived. :-P Normally ships like this have an automatic generator that starts straight away and most lights have battery backup. So is everyone calling me "Scotty" now. >:-(
  12. Stauder, that is just silly. :-| Remember; two accounts are illegal here and *vader* is very good at enforcing that rule. I have been impressed several times. 8-
  13. Well it does have potential to be dark (and supposedly it is meant to be), but the play version is too simple and aimed for children. You would need to write a new conversion.... That happened to me once. I was cast as the youngest boy in "Sound of Music" (Frederick?) long after my voince broke. (I was trying for Rolfe.) Unsurprisingly I lost the part. :-| I'm sure you will do better than me though. :-D
  14. Welcome to the club! *sweet* It's good to see that the shovel isn't just for decoration. :-P (Hopefully the dagger is! 8-| )
  15. Yay! I was in a version of Alice in Wonderland once with the parts of the catapillar and the gryphon. On two nights the guy playing the Mad hatter was sick so I played that role as well! I love taking over peoples parts! :'-)
  16. Yes Capt'n. My apologies Geno. I think a good way to establish trust would be for them to let us borrow their radio.... 8-|
  17. I agree. I look forward to hearing what Mr Tiber had in mind; he could have at least conferred with me first.... |-/ While we were being a bit mean to Stan, nothing was permament.
  18. Yes, I know. I think this could all be part of this mysterious phonomenom. Containers that can't be opened, people who become untied, me moving to break someones leg even though I thought I was reading magazines at the time... I am not sure if we should accept their story or if we should we probe them further... Radios don't turn. Only Radars and satcom does. Less Trek more reality Geno. I bet your a virgin too. :-D Well that's what I am wondering. What I am also wondering is how these guys plan on actually helping us.... 8-| Bait perhaps? :-P Do they have any decent food at least? Can they tell us how far we are from land?
  19. Well it was the best I could think of! What would you have none oh king of impro? ;-) Seriously, a gunshot wound in the leg would leave my character immobile and generally moaning and groaning for the rest of the story and it couldn't be left that way. If I was awake at the time I would have done something different. 8-| That was so funny!
  20. Sadly yes. I miss SPS-52C. :'-( The Capt'n has a surprisingly good photo of it.
  21. I thought our radio wasn't working... 8-|
  22. I think we should ask them to radio for a ocean tug, like the incredible Arctic W , and wait here. To be honest, I am a bit suspicious of why this small boat is out so far and as to how they found us... 8-| Besides, they are too small to offer much help. They do have a powerful looking Radar though. *wub*
  23. All ships carry flares! ;-) *goes to bridge wing and lights flare* *sing* Help! *sing* I'm on a ship with no food, a dead engine, a Star Trek geek and a gun happy stowaway! *sing* Oh yeah, and the might be a green monster on board who sloshes, although the sloshing could be irrelevant....
  24. Well Stan, I'd just like to say that there are no hard feelings... with the exception that you are not welcome to my whiskey. >:-( As for that ship, perhaps we should light a flare... :'-)
  25. One of the many things that bothered me was if I loaded 20 or more ad heavy pages in FF it would always take 99% of CPU usage and not recover for several hours, or it would just crash half way though. This happend on two different computers, several windows installations (I used to run multiple OSes on a machine but I now use Virtual OSes), and many FireFox re-installs. However, I switched to Opera and have had far less crashes, and few freezes. I went from four a week to one a month, if that. (The only thing that Opera will consistantly freeze on is if I ask it to download 200+ files at once. It always recovers though.) This was years ago and it may have improved but I have seen no reason to try it since. One of my biggest loves of Opera ism even if the entire machine spontainously died (becasue of a power cut for example), it will remember what you were doing upon restart. That saves me so much time. (I believe FF does this now though.)
