It has sold out in Australia, the UK and Germany so it seems that it is limited in some way at least...

Your MOCs make me feel boring. :-$ You are one of the few MOCers (is that a word?) who are doing their own thing. *sweet* I love it! *wub*

A few might be surprised to hear me say this, but I think you make some valid points. IMHO blindly saying that "Lego is better" without being open enough to at least consider the options is silly. I would be very curious at the reaction this topic would get. Personally I would consider buying these if I found them in a store, although loose hands do bother me. (It's the biggest reason why I don't remove hands... ;-) ) In fact, I think they look better than the average M%g! Bl&k sets. :-D

Ah, thanks. I didn't know Lego did that. It explains why the AT-AT seems to be vanishing as well... :-/
-
So there are more in your store that you haven't bought yet? 8-

...and you can't even sell it to buy Lego either. :-| Ahh well, it was a thoughtfull gift! *sweet*
-
Alternatively he could just buy what he likes best.... ;-)

This one is much better than I thought; I didn't expect the gun and the "turret" to be geared! I agree that a lot of the details sux (hollow inside, lame cockpits...) but as an overall package it looks quite good. The best part is.... no shooter! Is the nightmare finally over? :'-) The bonus robot is a much better idea. The large amount of blue pieces make this a must buy for me as Impartial needs more raw materials! :-P How well do the tracks work? The last tank was too light and it didn't roll well at all. :-/ Thanks for these photos as well Hinckley. *wub* So far the 08 Exo-Force sets are looking good! *sweet* :-P Wow! It's big enough for my big walrus head! *wub*

That's a very interesting set... and with all that purple a must buy. I decided recently that I am going to resist buying Lego unless it's on sale next year, but I have so little purple.... 8-| I love the little robot! :-P Thanks for the photos Hinckley and I look forward to the comic! *sweet* (As Sir Dillon said, some of the links appear dead but I suspect it is a server error... :-/ )

Thanks go out to the people who voted for me! *wub* To be honest I'm happy enough that I got this far... :'-) I hope it wasn't Tableton. ;-)
-
Don't be so sure. Nintendo rarely reduce console prices of current machines that much, while Lego regularly have half price sales. Even the Death Star went half price for a while.... 8-|

As a DS owner (I only own Chocobo Tales and Final Fantasy III) I can say that it's pretty good, but I would go for the Cafe Corner (or some other Lego set) as without several games the DS is useless. (By the way, it's the Nintendo DS, not Gameboy DS.... ;-) )

The AT-AT seems to be going as well; it has sold out for Australians.... :-/
-
You're too kind. Mine consists of un-modified sets, a lame cafe-corner ripoff, some customised cars/trucks, a tug boat and a Martian War Machine. Hinckley has at least three quite beautiful custom buildings and is almost as wide as mine is long. Sinner 1, Hinckley 5. :-D I have windmill instead, but it isn't shown in that picture. :-P

COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
Siegfried replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Err.... Dr S.... Isn't it time for the vote? Smarty pants! :-P -
Indeed. *wub* Tableton is one of the best. Have you seen his cool video? :-P Surprisingly, I am Sinner on Brickshelf. ;-) That's from a few months ago, so it has changed a bit. (The Town House is currently a space craft! :-D ) It's quite lame compared to many others. :-$ Hinckley's is pretty cool. *wub*

Welcome to Eurobricks! Confusing members aside, you WILL* like it here. (*"Will" is not used in a literal sense. Your results may vary.) Speak for yourself. :-P It's a cold day in hell when I need tech help. People used to come to me for tech help... until I bought a "No, I will not fix your computer" mug. No one has asked me since. :-D

Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* Which one?
-
Welcome to Eurobricks. *sweet* It's good to hear that someone sees Ferrari sets as their favourite theme as it doesn't seem to be going away.... :-/
-
I'm pretty sure it is. As I said before, it looks like a coaster. Perhaps they can use it for cola instead....

Are you aware that the Holiday train is trackless? Eitherway, you will need some more houses; the Town House set is a great deal if you want more roof pieces. I also reccomend the Harbour set. But it really depends on what you like as Sinnerton reflects my interests, and what I like may not be what you like. My town is limited by the fact that I insist on having a harbour and a train in a small (about 1x2 meters) layout leaving me with little room for anything else. *wacko* If you are prepeared to leave yours on the floor like many then you can be more flexible. I suggest you browse though Brickshelf and decide what you think works.

Well you will just have to wait then! :-D

I meant an interior from front to back.... kind of like the Bison from Captain Scarlet... ...or even this one. :-$ While on the subject of Armageddon, here is a cute copy of the Armadillo. *wub*
-
I want to give mine an interior... but it would be piece demanding so I'm not sure if I can.
-
No, but a friend of mine does and I am hoping to buy it off him...
