  1. Coll says the same! :-P
  2. That Sandy piece is going to be so useful! *wub* I want them all! Hopefully they will be better priced for Australians than last years offerings. :-/
  3. More discount Lego for me! Fight for the Golden Tower 8107 for 50 AUD, down from 80 AUD. First thing I did was fix up Hitomi's hair!
  4. I was very surprised yours didn't go better. Perhaps you're aiming too high... ;-)
  5. They look perfect to me; and I think I can even see a monkey in 8158! :-P The windshields look like that are what I have been wanting for a long time! *wub* (Are we sure these are real though; that last photo is taken on a sheet of cardboard. Shouldn't Lego have a better set-up than that? I hope it is real! :'-) )
  6. Indeed; it was that bad Lego issued a fix kit! The Ep5 Slave one is beautiful!
  7. Errrr... sorry. :-$ I've been pretty busy with life stuff lately and I bookmarked this thread and was planning on making a post today... but Coll bought me the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10 which has kept me busy on my normally free day. No, I don't hate you, and I am very interested... Sinnerton is pretty lame though :-$ ; it's in need of a good bulldozing. :-D (I got the service station last week so I have to to find some room! ) Excuses aside, do you have anything in mind? A giant bucket water fountain for example?
  8. Subtle.... :-P
  9. Ooops. :-$ I had a quick glance at the set prior to making that comment just to "confirm" I was right.... 8-| Sorry. Feel free to beat me up.
  10. Got 8145 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10 for almost half price. 8-
  11. I have heard that they refuse webmail addresses...
  12. Yeah, sorry about that. :-$ The echo sounder needed calibrating, it wasn't my fault!
  13. Thanks for the update. *sweet* I'm glad that I was right; not only because I like to be right, but also because if I was wrong then I would probably be caught out by this. Unfortuantly Paypal is very inconsistant with their tech help and I find it annoying that the spoof guys were over paranoid. Sad to say that makes them pretty much useless; it would seem that they just play it safe. Common sense can do that, what you want from them is educated common sense. I am a Win2K fanboy too... but after years of resisting XPs "charms" Vista won me over. I was one of their beta testers and at the end of it I missed it too much. :-P The rest of my computer still run Win2K though. How could they do that without admin access to your computer?
  14. Overall I think it looks cool, and I think it will make a great "prop". Any reason why you didn't go for one of these... ...for the windscreen? That way you could move the handle bars forward one stud and save yourself some doctor bills... Very smart usage of the printed piece.
  15. I can't believe that I am the most positive one here... 8-
  16. I use PayPal extensively for my business and I have never seen anything like this. I don't think this is a scam though; PayPal do checks like this occasionally and FireFox is supposed to have good protection against this sort of thing. (I use Opera.) Since they know part of your number it seems unlikely that someone who already has your number would be able to intercept your PayPal login as well. I do agree with your comment on Paypal tech support by the way. I have had a few issues in the past and they never were very helpful; most answers were obviously cut-and-pasted with half the the "advice" irrelevant. :-|
  17. Sorry too late! The judges decision is final.... X-D
  18. Last time I checked Australia and Canada both still are, but Lego don't take that into consideration when releasing sets. ;-) I'll have my title back now... *wacko*
  19. As you probably guessed, I wasn't offended. Coll had a quite horrid time due to being induced by some incompetent doctor. :-/ The second birth was doctor free and went a lot better. Indeed! Coll said she is jealous. :-P But Myra has turned out quite cute a few months later. (I'll stop posting baby photos now. :-$ )
  20. I have seen the car before, but I have never seen the air jacks in operation.
  21. They are jacks so the car can quickly change tires. See the yellow piece inside? That slides and retracts/lowers them. The F430 Challenge from this year has the same feature. Supposedly the real cars can do the same.
  22. :-D Yay! Hinckley has spoken! Congrats to both winners. *sweet* I may not have won, but at least I picked the winner! (Thanks to everyone who voted for me... *wub* )
  23. That's a very healthy looking newborn; she's almost as good as a TV newborn! :-P Mine looked more like this... ...and it wasn't until the next day that she looked good enough to keep...
  24. Thanks again Hinckley! Strewth Exo-Force are a cornucopia of great parts this year! 8-
