Love this! Awesome to see more Captain Sabertooth LEGO mocs! Makes me more excited for the summer and this years theater show; Captain Sabertooth and the Secret of the Sea. Loving the 'treasure' details as well, amazing! Would love to see the animated movie version of The Dark Lady one day, but one can dream. Anyway, awesome work!

Black Pearl Cabin Interior (MOC)
SimWilliamSparrow replied to SimWilliamSparrow's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks, mate. I've built it as big as my parts could do at this moment. But, I've changed me mind on the Pearl itself. She'll be in LEGO form after all. I found a rather inspiring MOC that I'll take some inspiration from. Might post the finished result here when she's done.- 2 replies

2015 LEGO Pirates Rumors and Discussion
SimWilliamSparrow replied to Yawgmoth's topic in LEGO Pirates
How about making this into a theme? -
Can you please post the list of what you ordered from Bricklink?...

Awesome! Do you know if there is going to be a second wave of the theme? If so, I hope you'll get to design some of the sets, because you did a great job on Port Royal. "Take what you can, give nothing back" Capt. Jack Sparrow and first mate Joshamee Gibbs.

I LOVE the idea of Johnny Depp as a musketeer! however... I didn't like the yellowfaced Jack...

I love it totally in tone with the "Captain's Daughter" pub. Great to see the first PotC related creation

Don't worry, The Black Pearl will be in the film. According to a set report The Pearl will be in a bottle, that's why Jack try's to get the ship-in-a-bottle in "The Captain's Cabin" set. Also Barbossa mentions that Blackbeard used voodoo powers to make the rigging aboard the Pearl attack Jack's crew.

Here's the official plot released by Disney: "Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed adventure. Crossing paths with the enigmatic Angelica (Penélope Cruz), he's not sure if it's love—or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge the ship of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mysterious past."

Uhm... Pirates 1-3 has had their own really well developed storyline, so it don't see why you say that it's plot-less. Pirates 1: Jack wants to get The Pearl back, and Barbossa tries to reverse the curse of the undead crew. Pirates 2: Jack is in search for the heart of Davy Jones to save him from his deal made with Jones years ago, Will and Elizabeth tries to get Married but are interrupted by Lord Beckett who also wants the heart of Jones. Pirates 3: Will and Elizabeth sails to world's end with the resurrected Captain Barbossa to bring back Jack Sparrow from the dead. Meanwhile, Lord Beckett has taken control over the seas by using Davy Jones as his puppet. Barbossa also wants to free the sea godess Calypso so that she can help them in the war against Lord Beckett and the EITC. Looks like a very good plot to me.
