Brickset has more 2018 City pictures up. The Mountain River Chase 60175 has to be my favorite out of all the new police sets. Everything about it is so cool, I love the robbers 6 x 6 amphibious vehicle and the armored truck. Does the armored truck driver have a new torso? I don't think I've seen that one before. The plane is pretty cool as well, I really like it's design. 4-wide planes are always special to get. Another one I haven't seen yet is Mining Power Splitter, I love the detail they put in the vehicles this round, the stickers and paint schemes really look amazing. I wonder if there will be a fifth set for next years mining line up, Maybe it will be a store exclusive. I really love all these sets. They are all amazing.

Man. Those mining sets look amazing! The mining sets from 2012 were some of my favorite from that year, and these are no exception. The large mining set with the tracked grinder looks awesome. Also its nice to see the new roller coaster parts used in something other than a actual roller coaster. The larger set with the drill looks really good as well. I like the more realistic looking machines. These look amazing and will go perfect with my old mining setup. The new police sets aren't that far off either. All of the sets for me have some really cool parts and builds. The police station is pretty cool with its more vertical build, and the tree costume? Awesome. The set with the two brick built boats are pretty cool as well. However, the great vehicles lineup this year is probably one of my favorites. All the vehicles look really well designed. The forestry vehicle has to be my favorite. So far 2018 looks really good. I wonder what the summer sets have in store for us.

Hello, I finally figured I'd chime in. I only have one thing to say, have fun with it! Do what looks good to you, throw the rules out the window. But in all seriousness, LEGO minifigures aren't human, they don't bend, sit, or share proportions with us. With that in mind, worry more about looks, details, and structure over scale and rules. I personally have been build a small fleet of custom 6-wide LEGO City styled vehicles and I find that the look great next to the modular buildings. However, if you are worried about scale and whatever, ignore what I just said and do what looks great for you. In the case of your parking lot, I would suggest lengthening it like Sollx said. Maybe use some 8x16 baseplates to widen the lot to fit real vehicles. As for inspiration for a consulate vehicle moc maybe use some BMW M3 or M5 with some Kia Stinger mixed in. If your looking for a pre-designed vehicle though, maybe shorten the limo from 60102 into a 4 door styled sedan or maybe use some of the 6-wide police cars from 2017 police line as inspiration for some mocs. Thanks! I wonder if this part is used in any of the other 2017 summer sets. If so I hope it will be used in other colors, such as orange or white. This year definitely has some good new pieces.

Hello. Very excited to get some close photos of some of the new jungle sets. I hope that we can get some more pictures soon on that city display, I can't wait to see more of the coast guard and jungle sets. However, while I was looking through them and noticed a new roof piece on some of the large vehicles, it looks like it will fit in perfectly with the existing 6-wide roof piece. I don't think anyone mentioned it yet, so I figured I'd say something. Over all this summer wave is looking like it's going to be a good one.

Hello, first post and all. I must say that I see a lot of potential in a jungle theme. All I can see are large trees with zip-lines, cliff faces, tents with bunk-beds and tables, abandoned ruins, and off-road jeeps and trucks. I see tons of real life inspiration that could make very nice and livid sets. However, I can't see the future and have no idea what this theme has in store. I just hope that they can keep up the nice line of City Explorers for another year.
