  1. Sounds like sets based off JLAction would be probably likely, weren't most of Marvel's initial non-MCU sets all based off that Spider-Man cartoon? and most of those costumes seemed pretty accurate to the comics as well, or at least close enough for rock n roll lol
  2. Oh for sure - as a super Batman fan, this year has/will be fantastic, but as a general DC Comics fan, it's been kinda dismal, lol - how long will we have to wait for another of the remaining like 7 Green Lanterns? I just want Kyle Rayner... (and not as White Lantern lol)
  3. DC may be slacking on new character selection this time around, but they've still got Marvel beat on comic-accurate characters for sure - can a comic-accurate Avengers team even be put together yet?
  4. It's most likely Dr. Phosphorus - Blight is a different character that exists in the Batman Beyond Earth/Future, so while it definitely COULD be Blight (and Blight is probably more well-known than the Doc due to the Batman Beyond cartoon) the odds are that it's actually Dr. Phosphorus. But the two dudes look so similar that it could be either or, for sure.
  5. I hadn't seen that, will definitely check it out tonite! Thanks Cameron!
  6. Probably not the best place to ask this, but I really wanna put this custom Mixel ( https://rebrickable.com/mocs/dvdliu/john-oldman#parts_list ) together, and this old computer can't run any programs that can read the .lxf file, including Lego Digital Designer. LDD doesn't work properly with my drivers, and I can't see the directions, and the other programs I found just didn't really work - is there any program that works on older computers or a way to see the directions without opening the file? Thanks guys!

  8. Niiiiice, definitely post the ones you guys have built-brick if you wanna, that'd be great to see. I've been planning out a group of them myself, gonna be all desert/sweets related, gonna be light blue, pink, white, tan and brown, there'll be a cotton candy one, a swirl ice-cream one, an ice cream sandwich, and a cake, which will be the big Max one. I've had to make like WIPs out of random colors cause I don't have that many light blue and pink pieces lol
  9. Has anyone made their own "tribes" of Mixels? Like, 3 Mixels and a Max of a theme they came up with? Might be kinda cool to see now that the series is kaput.
  10. That's awesome. Who designed that one? Uggghhh I need to order some of these lol
  11. Who's the last minifig there next to the Dr. Strange set minifigs? Looks like Wildcat to me...
  12. Hahaha, it's funny, without reading this thread, I thought about the gauntlet thing, and how TIm probably looked off to me because Batman doesn't have the dual-molded arms as well - then I come in here and that's exactly what you guys were talking about lol So that's for sure? No grey/black or dark grey/black dual molded arms out yet?
  13. That's not Wildstyle's hood, is it? Doesn't she have the yellow "skin" spot? Who's is that? and, btw, it looks great, I'll definitely be doing that! Did you custom create the yellow cape you use for the OYL Tim Drake? I've been wanting to have the yellow/black look like you did, but I didn't think they made a yellow long cape with the "spikes" or whatever you call the Bat-family's cape design lol I didn't like Mr. Incredible's arms on Tim at all, thought they looked too red, but I like it on yours - maybe the yellow cape is what's missing? I should try it again I think.
  14. Any chance anyone could post Damien with the "down-hood" piece from Wyldstyle? Thanks!
  15. Had no idea they were on Pick A Brick, definitely gonna have to snag a pair. I wish they'd make a Superman with the New52 design like in the recent DC Lego Movies. We've already got Wonder Woman and Batman, just let me finish my Trinity lol Yup, the Flash seriously needs some dual molded legs. That stark red over the entire body looks out of place with the more recent super detailed minifigs that have been released more recently.
  16. Been wanting to do that forever, but I'm waiting til I see that set on clearance. I'd really like the Iron Spider that comes with it too.
  17. Don't know if anyone has done this already, but I slapped Mr. Incredibles leg's onto Tim Drake Robin, and I think it looks even better. Just throwing it out there lol
  18. I tweaked some of my Bat-family minifigs a litlle; Gave Tim Drake Robin BvS Superman's hair (since the nice preppy hair they give him bothers me, his hair is generally tossled in the comics, and a side benefit is it makes him look that little bit shorter than Batman and Nightwing) and Mr. Incredible's legs, and gave Nightwing two electric blue (or whatever color it is) arms. Any chance that anyone who has that Damian Robin and Wyldsyde like the one that comes in Lego Dimensions (hood down, not up) could slip that hoodie piece onto Damian Robin with his hair attached too? I wanna see how that black hoodie with the little yellow triangle looks - I know that's supposed to be yellow Lego "skin", but I wanna see how it looks as possibly being part of his cape before I track a Wyldsyde down lol - thanks in advance!
  19. Yeah, I figure it works well with the 'basic' or 'simple' nature of some of the Lego designs. But a striped arm piece would DEFINITELY be fantastic.
  20. That Ares looks great, would love to see that in real Minifig form down the line.
  21. Yeah, I like it so much more like that. I think the mostly black look is so drab, and his bright blue is supposed to pop and bounce out, so this is better to me. I also did the same thing with the New52 costume; Also had BvS Superman's hair on him, but I've since put that on Tim Drake so he looks shorter than Nightwing haha
  22. OK, I hope this is the right thread cause I've been away for a bit and this is about something that was released in 2016 not 2017 lol So now that the new DVD is out and Nightwing has arrived, I don't know if any of you are like me and think the totally black (beyond the logo) minifigure on Nightwing is waaaaaay too boring, but I did a little minifigure switcharound between Jo from the Lego Movie Ice Cream truck, Nightwing and an extra Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons; Moved Jo's arms to Nightwing, Comic Book Guy's arms to Jo, and then Nightwings arms and Comic Book Guys remaining body are in the spare parts baggie lol; I think Nightwing looks so much better like this, and then I also like that it made a little more varriance between Jo and the other Ice Cream Guy in that set. I'm not sure what other minifigs have those electric blue (or whatever the color is) arms, but they'd work too. I just wish there was a dual-molded arm with the electric blue up near the shoulder and black near the wrist. One day!
  23. Yeah guys, the move has been miserable lol - as soon as I've got myself back in financial order to be doing trades and shipping, I'll get back in touch with everyone and update this thread. Hope everyone understands!
  24. This may have been mentioned, I've been out of the loop for a bit, but IMO those legs on the Sonic minifig pic that was released look like they'd be absolutely fantastic for a comic version of Captain America.
  25. Everyone who PM'd me in the past few days, I'll be getting back to you tonight, just settled into my new place and the move was a bit more hectic than expected Sorry everyone, be in touch soon!
