  1. Hi Madoca I just love your designs but it's costing me a fortune The Tatra is just completed and I'm already looking at this CUV Thank you
  2. I must add that the LiPo batteries from lego are expensive yes but probably worth it long term and deliver the power. I have bought Sbricks for the 42009 but I'm using the regular Lego stuff for this build. Sbrick are to be commended for their technology but the pricing is too rich and the product suffers from too many people to support. It should really be on a par with Lego equipment price to compete in bulk and as yet the reliability is unknown. USA are doing colour options but again at dreamworld prices. Get real Sbrick!
  3. An old thread now yes? but the subject is awesome and I spent three hours last night until mid morning ordering parts from brick owl, ebay and Lego dot com. I'm 58 and feel like a teenager but I'm probably in to getting on for two grand since December, NUTS or what lol Thank you Madoca
  4. Yes the price is up to what idiots will pay. Much better off building Jurgens machine which is born out of that but vastly improved. There seems to be a huge proliferation of 42009's on ebay too, where are they all getting them from new and boxed? are Lego selling out the back door
  5. The crawler crane can be found for well under £100 buy it! and do the Catweazel conversion to 6 motors! brilliant
  6. Is this still for sale? it would look awesome on my Jurgens Linkbelt 250
  7. Awesome. I thought they were out of stock a year ago well done
  8. Nice one. I bought the 42043 from ebay.de and paid in euros. Because I'd bought my Euros in November at 1:43 the price delivered was effectively £125 rather than £169.99 at a Lego store. I'll build and motorize this later in the year. Meanwhile I'm starting Jurgens Linkbelt excavator
  9. Built this last week Catweazel is a clever fella
  10. I installed the first Sbrick today and made some modification to mount it. I also connected the LED's to the drive motor so they only come on when on the move
  11. Another bug that I've just encountered myself is the four unnecessary pins (two blue bottom of picture and blue black top of picture) here with turntable removed for the view. As no beams are installed there what is the point of this arrangement? when they could all be black pins finishing flush. I appreciate the gaps are left so you can get your finger tips in for removal of the outer parts Surely neater unless I've misunderstood ?
  12. Thank you for the gear clash mod I was just building this part when I found your post so didn't have much to strip to employ your fix. BTW the Yellow part is identical in size regardless of colour but I'm sure most know that. Could I be the oldest reborn Logoist? at 58 Just bought my 42009 brand new on ebay for £169 and got a £20 refund because the seller didn't protect the box for shipping. I did the full RC 42042 by Catweazel last week, brilliant! six motors. Your gear clash fix Your reinforcement "bug fix" easy without any stripping
