Captain Britain replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't mind him to be fair. Agreed I'd have preferred the game version but I'm happy enough with what we're getting.- 8,446 replies

It's cool - we've got Thanos

Hahaha Hulk_Smash - I've got it but I don't want to play the role of getting people to guess so I won't say it. Great clues though!

What got you into collecting Lego as an Adult?
Captain Britain replied to badchriss's topic in Community
I picked up the little Captain America set with his motorbike and the Chitauri.. after that I just had to get all of the Avengers... then it snowballed! -
Loved this set!

Have you ever felt judged for liking LEGO?
Captain Britain replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in Community
Amen to that! At the end of the day you like what you like.. it's as simple as that! And nobody deserves the right to be able to take that away from another person. I get ribbed quite a bit because I like superheroes for example and get 'it's not real!'.. whatever, I like it.. so why should that bother someone else? I completely second what HoganPrime said... be proud of it, and go buy something new as a megabluck it to all the people who hate on it! Edit: Megabluck - 107 replies

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Captain Britain replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Agreed! I thought the Silver Centurion suit was amazing, all the printing etc is perfect along with the black eye on Tony's face! But there's something about that Hammerhead suit that wins it for me.. I love the colour combo! -

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
Captain Britain replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I thought that too. They popped a calender/catalogue thing whatever it is in my bag when I was there the other weekend and I thought it said free with any purchase over £50 on DC sets. I've already got the Batwing though and will be picking up the Batcave this weekend with the double points thing so I'll have to get the Cycle Chase and 3 DC Mighty Micros... Which still leaves me £3 short aghhhhhhh... maybe I can add a DC keyring or something to the order to tip it over.. hopefully they count? Difficult choice on the sets saving front. It all depends on which one would make you the happiest I guess? Maybe save for the Batcave and see if you can get the Croc set for a birthday present or something? Or pick the croc set up and then get birthday money to put into the Batcave fund. Personally I love the Batcave and with that being out now and me having time to put aside for the summer sets I'm going down that route but I know other peoples circumstances might be different. I've had to have a clear out of old stuff and a bit of an eBay session to get the funds together in time though!- 8,446 replies

I wish I'd have done that with mine looking back! I'm sure you made a lot of people happy with what was donated . Plus now you've got the joy of re-collecting it all again!

nice! The one to the right of the Rubix cube... what theme was that from again? I remember getting a couple of sets as a kid with that design and loved them!

Do you know how many LEGO do you have?
Captain Britain replied to SrChuck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I do update Brickset now and then but I prefer to use my own spreadsheet I've made. I've currently got........ (let me add up ) 297 not including duplicates! The majority of them (219) are from the Super Heroes line up. The rest are Star Wars, Simpsons, Ghostbusters, BTTF, Scooby Doo and the Monsters minifigs. I also keep my girlfriends keyring collection up to date on there which is currently at 108! Set wise I don't keep many to be fair due to space and I only really collect the minifigs. I think I've only got 3/4 complete sets? -

I've got both variants of Iron Man and Loki - I agree with rob-ot5000 about Loki justifying the 'a' variation but I really wouldn't say Iron Man is a completely new one (think he's been given sh231 as a number?). Didn't we get the same sort of thing with Venom? One with black spines from the Spidey set and then another one without from the Juniors set but they are the same minifig? -

I've sadly only got the little shield guy statuette from the Helicarrier set (will order up the others eventually) but when it came through I really couldn't believe the detail on him! I know it's just a logo and little face print but it was still brilliant. -
