I was wanting to buy a prop Assault Rifle from Halo to run around with, and then thought I could just build one out of Lego. What I ended up with is something that's a bit too heavy / fragile to run around with, but it does look pretty cool. LEGO MA40 Assault Rifle (Halo Infinite) by Marcus H, on Flickr The build is inspired by Nick Brick's MA37 build, which I used as a guide to get the proportions and sizing right. Mine isn't as complex as his, but I'm not nearly as good a builder as him. LEGO MA40 Assault Rifle (Halo Infinite) by Marcus H, on Flickr The ammo counter is Nick Brick's design, it's pretty faithful to the games. LEGO MA40 Assault Rifle (Halo Infinite) by Marcus H, on Flickr The mag is a lot smaller than it should be, but when I was building the gun I didn't have the foresight to make a hollow space to allow a larger mag. LEGO MA40 Assault Rifle (Halo Infinite) by Marcus H, on Flickr I also made a video that shows off the features and has some dramatic recreations of the 1st person view of the games. This was super satisfying to make and I definitely want to make more Halo guns, once I can find the space (and money) for them. Top of my list would be the Sniper Rifle, Commando, Sidekick and Battle Rifle.

This is astounding, especially the cockpit section. Makes the UCS look like poo in comparison.
-
A job well done on your part. Definitely bridging the gap between the official UCS and Marshall Banana's MOC
-
I found a couple more pics on their Flickr but they don't reveal much
-
Wow that looks fantastic, could we get some pics showing how its connected to the rest of the frame?

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but it seems Lego's finally making 3x3 macaroni tiles in light bley, which means they could be used to make the 6 vents at the back of the Falcon more accurately sized, since they currently use 4x4 macaronis which make the vents too big. Probably not ideal currently since you need 24 of them and the most any one store has on Bricklink is 12.

Obviously Marshall Banana's Falcon is the best ever, but unless you really want a full interior I don't think it's worth the extreme cost to build his over the normal UCS Falcon with some mods. But if you have the money go for it.

That white TIE with the Halo Energy sword looking wings looks so cool, what is the name of it

Super awesome building, looks great when its closed up

I always thought the front/top dark red part of the slave 1 UCS looked pretty odd with the combination of pieces they used and this looks way better

A bunch of awesome builds. Ships that have been modified and/or aren't entirely sleek are always my favourites to see built in lego. Theres a reason everyone and their mother has their own take on the Millennium Falcon.

If they're doing another Falcon I would love to see a ROTJ themed one with Lando Nein Nunb and the other random guys, but it probably won't happen cos no one cares about those characters.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Sucram replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hones Honestly the cantina could easily be classed as a "UCS" set, it looks pretty much exactly like how the cantina would look, when closed up. It's not like Cloud City where its just random rooms haphazardly built into a circle-ish shape. -
[MOC/MOD] Death Star based on The Globe 21332
Sucram replied to Mad Spandy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just perfect, would love to have that on the spinning stand thing that the normal globe is on -
Looks great, especially the trees
-
Very excited to see how this project goes, seems like it could be one for the ages
-
Wow wow wow this is so well built!
-
That is insane, I would love to see Lego do an official UCS rendition of this set, along with a lot of other things from the Phantom Menace

Your reviews continue to be the best on this site. I appreciated the scenery change, was very fitting. Now can someone review a landspeeder in the middle of a desert?
-
I only ever check the SW forum cos thats what I have bookmarked so thats my fault
-
Probably because he doesn't have the hood in any scene after TFA. Although you could argue that it shouldve come with the Takodana set since he has his hood for that entire sequence.
-
Definitely sand green, the olive green doesnt really fit Yoda at all
-
I feel like I don't see many set reviews on this site anymore. This one was great. Odd that the Yoda figure and the build itself has different skin tones

Obviously this isn't a huge issue, or a make-or-break thing for most people, but the fact that the solution seems to be so trivial makes it a bit silly that this made it into the final set.
