So I recently bought four clone mini figures on ebay. All phase one, two of them were basic, one pilot, and one commander cody. The seller listed them as used and there was one picture which did not show anything wrong with them. The seller did not state anything wrong with them in the description. When I got them the legs were all unusable because of dirt/damage but that was an easy enough fix. My concern was in cody's helmet whixh had a small dent right on the line of orange and black and one of the bodies which had a large crack behind the arm (ignoring the cracks IN the arms). I contacted the seller who seemed quite unenthusied and said that they listed it as "used" and asked what I wanted done. I proposed a 4.50 refund (which is what the replacement parts for the two pieces I listed would cost me on bricklink not including shipping). The seller did not respond and when I prodded them they just said "We listed the item as used." Maybe I'm ignorant but the level of damage in the pieces seemed to warrant more of a descriptive than "used." What should I do? Im positive if I leave negative feedback I will be met with likewise.

Axe body spray works. I used it for helmets and getting in the edge of the finns on the phase 1 helmets was a real pain buy torsos should be a breeze.

I've picked up a horde of these damaged figures on lot buying. And I have abut three cans of axe from middle school that I have absolutely no use for as a young adult. Whamo, two birds with one stone. I'll try it and get back to you tomorrow.

Guys I need help deciding on what order to get these things. Here is what I need and estimated cost. Custom Shaak Ti Force Unleashed $40 Parts to finish custom figures-capes/helmets/guns ~$40 6 clone pilots -$20 Anakins yellow interceptor-$20 Finishing my at-ot-$50 to 60 Bulk clone troopers - $3 a piece in varying phases probably about 10 phase 1 and 10 phase 2 troopers. Long term big items-separate list UCS Slave I-180 Turbo tank (august release)-100 Custom moc~$150? Waiting on instructions and partslist.

I saw a ghost and phantom with figures for 75. Normally I would snatched something at a good price up but I really don't like the rebels series, and if I somehow got stuck with it and I would NOT have been happy (as opposed to something fun like an at-te or republic gunship). Also I think the original set was underwhelming and like already mentioned earlier they'll be remaking it in a better rendition. Edit to not double post- What do you guys think about the original greedo? Got one in a lot and I'm unsure if I want to sell it to get some money back (not a fan of him and wasn't the reason I bought the lot) or keep him for my collection. Do you think he will go up much over time with collectors appeal?

You just said having high prices wouldn't affect collectors, but then said having reruns of figures keeps people away from collecting. TLG isnt making figures for people to horde and "invest" in. These are not stocks. TLG makes it a point to crack down on people who do things of the sort. If you buy something for your collection and it goes up so you decide to sell it that's one thing but if you're complaining that remaking figures or sets scared away investors, unless youre talking about the stock holders of TLG, they don't matter.

I'm conflicted on the topic. For anyone who plays/played magic the gathering youll know what I'm talking about. Basically old cards that may not have seen a lot of play would spike with the slightest indication of play because of their low supply. I'm concerned that this may happen here with popular UCS and modular sets. Especially the UCS falcon. It's too expensive to remake without severely ticking off everyone who poured a couple thousand into them, but they keep people away from collecting. I feel like it's better for the community to have a freer market without the high prices. If they stay on top of them they won't go through the roof and stay more acceptable.

The reason I mentioned TLG is because I had contacted them, so no one besides them or the seller would know, but youre right they didn't send me a packing slip like they usually do. I'll look up the sellers name and see if I can find it out.

So about three weeks ago I bought a general grievous wheel complete with minifigures on ebay from a wholesale seller for $20 with free shipping (Quite the steal if I do say so). When I got it the package did not have a general grievous in it and being a wholesale seller I can't blame him as he doesn't know to check for an additional small bag outside of the packaged bags for the ship. I applied on the extra pieces page for lego but each of the parts for grievous was labeled as out of stock and seeing as the set is no longer in production I was fairly certain I wouldn't be getting one. The seller readily refunded me $9 for the mistake and thanked me for pointing out the error before he sold more. That was about 3 days ago. Today I got a strange package in the mail with my name misspelled, which had in it, a constructed general grievous minifigure. Baffled and curious I looked up the return address which is an abandoned warehouse in California. So I have no idea where this figure came from but thanks to whoever :D

I've begun picking up pieces for it! Mostly outside stuff that will take a lot of pieces but I've started. Do you have a date when you think this will be done?

Idk what you're going for but I've been working towards prequel rots subthemes. Particularly the beginning space battle (<3 <3 <3 <3) and the jedi execution scenes.

Update on the grievous situation. I told him to double check his other sets before shipping them and he now has a neutral feedback for canceling an order on the exact same item I purchased as he had multiple in the lot. I might have saved him from dealing with about 10-15 angry customers :P

The post said he it came with the minigures and the seller has 100% feedback with thousands of feedback. Plus the other set I bought was just fine. I don't think he'll burn me though, he said if he can't find a replacement he'll refund the value of the figure. Thanka guys!

So I bought a general grievous wheel from a wholesale in ebay and it was opened and missing the general grievous(go figure (no pun intended)) but all the bags were sealed. I'm wondering do you guys know if the bag he is in is inside of bag 2 or outside it? How would someone reseal bag 2 after taking him out or could it be an TLG packaging error?

So I also just came out of the dark ages but I've been in a buy crazy(with restraint) mode on some of these. When I say buy crazy I mean check ebay very frequently to find good deals. Anywho here it is Custom Commander Bly+Cody+Galactic Marine- Got these at a killer price on ebay compared to their new price. Not sure where he got the galactic marine though, I'm dying for three more. Aayla Secura- One of my favorite jedis, although it CW and not ROTS I still really like her. Light up series- Feel like they're very unique to star wars (except for a police one who no one remembers) New Obi-wan- I like the leg printing and more accurate to ROTS than previous ones. New General Grievous- same reason as Obi-Wan Commander Jag- I like my pilots, also very accurate to the movie. Hoth Princess Leia- Got her in a lot I bought and kept her, very smooth figure that looks nice. Geonosis Mace windu- I love the detail on this figure in printing both the legs and the body with that white tint, don't have him on me but he's in the mail/ I'll post a picture of these guys once I get a frame finished later this week, I don't like them sitting out as dust is not friendly.

Alright so I'm dropping in now as total diehard fan of the battle scene in the beginning of the third movie and I'm currently wiping the drool off my keyboard. These ships are perfectly scaled, look amazing, and aren't going to cost me multiple body parts (unlike full size versions of them would). Do you have a parts list you could post so I can began collecting the parts? I will surely be willing to pay for the instructions when you have those I just want to be proactive on this.

How much do you anticipate it will cost and how many stores do you usually buy from?

You could offer to buy them at like the dollar it costs to make them if you're that concerned. So there have been like three or four different adaptations of the destroyer Droid AKA droideika, I'm wondering which version you guys think is the closest to being movie accurate. Also bought some bulk local that had multiple sets in it, doing math I figured I could keep one and then sell the rest to break even. Here are the sets I'm looking at keeping: 8088 arc170 starfigher -I have the original version but not this one. Also need captain Jag for plo koon execution 7678 Droid gunship -I don't have any of these and I kindof like it but I'm not sure what I would use it for. 8086 Droid trifighter -already have one but another couldn't hurt for my episode 3 space battle 75002 At-Rt -already have the 2007 version and nothing to do with this one but it looks cool and I kind of like it next to my laptop as I'm typing this. Would probably sell all the figure as I have them Input is appreciated, if anyone has preference on these I would be glad to hear!

Alright so awhile ago I asked for help with putting a cape on a light up minifigure. Multiple people suggested to cut the Cape down the back and slide it over the head, this looks perfect! Thank you guys so much I really appreciate it! Also I'm wondering do you guys thing they will relate the new turbo tank at the same time as the new both set(April 30th) in time for may the 4th?

So I had a question about this set. I heard it is going to be released as a summer set, as is the assault on hoth. I noticed the assault on hoth is going to be released on April 30th but the turbo tank is not on Legos site yet. So I'm wondering when the release date for this will be. Is there a tiny chance it will be available at the same time as assault on hoth on April 30th (in time for may the 4th)?
