  1. Well, if you are a member of the BeLUG, you automatically get them. (you then have to pick them up at a club weekend or so) Or you could try to add BELGIUM to your address when subscribing. TT
  2. Seeing as I didn't want to lose a limb, I voted for the parrot in the poll :D A nice site, watched the trailers and read the comics. The fun facts are great, especially the one mentioning that a pirate's pistol had to be reloaded after every shot. Looking forward to more things. TT
  3. If you would have one, a scalpel. Some say it only removes the paint layer and doesn't damage the pice itself... TT
  4. great work, only the armour seems to be more sloped at the sides when I look at the picture posted in this thread. TT
  5. Putting the pictures on BS right now (took forever to find a good zipping programme), a lot of pictures though From now one the pictures tell the story, and I'll put the gallery here when it's online. (well the reason is I'd need several pages of the thread to post all the pictures and there is no need for words ) Anyway, there is a bonus 25th day TT
  6. I have recieved the Patrick keychain, thank you very much Some nice prices in there, congrats to the winners. TT
  7. Hey everyone, do we already have the euro prices for the new pirate sets? If so, could the link to them be posted? After answering this thread may be closed TT
  8. A late hooray! I won a Patrick keychain the 7th day (rhyming again :-S ) Thanks for organising this contest, it made my day Congratulations to those who have already one and good luck to those who haven't TT P.S. The story of Dave will get a big update tomorrow
  9. DAY III On the third day it was the box with number three, on wich a lovely lady Dave could see Sadly the love he could feel was just for a pile of steel. He threw his weapon in despair and the bag he hit had few pieces but lots of air... He put al the pieces onto a stack, and they appeared to form an armour rack. He assembled the helmet, and as much as he wanted him, he, a simple soldier, had to stay loyal to the feodal system... DAY IV On the fourth day, the fourth box brought fear, as it contained a sign saying death was near. Nevertheless Dave opened the bag as he had done before, and scattered the pieces of bone onto the floor. He assembled him as good as possible, and ended by placing onto his body, the skull. Dave looked at it, it's eyes filled with flare, and wondered is there something in his skull except air? The skeleton was alive, and hands were shaken as one, for peace between two different castle races was become. End for now, the rest hopefully tomorrow :) Thanks for the comments BTW :D TT
  10. Hello everyone, I bought the advent calendar and thought I should do something special with it, as it is the first time anything like this has been made for castle fans. I present to you (4 days too late though ) : the story of Dave. Day I Come forwards and listen, to the tale of Dave for he wasn't rich, he was still very brave! He lived in a box, a box that was sealed a weird little box, a calendar it seemed! And although the number of languages was very very much, the designers of the box forgot to write it in Dutch... On the front were a lot of numbers, counting down to one day, and on the ground was a map with wich one could play. Then, on the first day the first box was torn, and the hero of our story, brave Dave was born! In his hand he had a spear with wich he could thrust, but the only thing he saw was a lot of white dust... Day II On the second day in the second box, a little bag was found and for no obvious reason, it just fell down on the ground. The moment he saw it, he thrusted his spear, and inside the bag he found lots of playwear. So he started building as fast as he could, For the bricks were made of stone, not out of wood. After it was finished, it appeared Dave was smart, for now he atleast had something to guard! Day 3,4,5 are coming tomorrow, it's a busy week TT
  11. Dutch article aswell: het nieuwsblad article That way you could complain about all miniature WWII figures aswell. I really don't like the tone at wich they treat Will, claiming it to be a children's toy while it is of course aimed at AFOLs/TFOLs. TT
  12. call me in :-) TT
  13. Hail to the fallen soldiers of WWI: British, German, Austrian-Hungarian, Serbian, American, French, Russian, Canadian, ANZAC, Belgian, ... and all other wars. For dying to protect his home(land) is the greatest honour and right (a) man can achieve. Gaetano
  14. No new palm tree mates, just the 4+ mould reused. (shame on you pirate fans ;-) ) I like what I'm seeing, now we just need a close up of the governor and euro prices :-D TT
  15. If you find a shop that sells these for 8.99 euros, please tell me :p The price is +- 12.99 euro They aren't shadow troopers or pilots, but Black Hole stormtroopers. (the black hole being something from the Expanded Universe) I still need to buy this set, but certainly will for the minifigs. TT EDIT: I see that the black stormtrooper in figure form is called shadow trooper too though...
  16. Fedora in farm set is TAN not white. Just wait and buy it in the new indy set in a few months ;-) TT
  17. You wouldnt have pictures of that pirate type creator set? Love the green car :) LEGO indeed hates green cheese slopes, but also tan ones (I need those) TT
  18. I would like that moustache in black as well... Anyway, the chase set is great for parts I need. Figures (black fedoras) are great. Flying wing: a must buy since this IS a WWII German aircraft. German torso looks great for DBZ MOCs etc. I searched a picture of this plane in the movie and it had green stripes like this one, but less noticable... TT
  19. What book would be the most popular then? To my knowledge the bible is made in the most languages and most numbers. Your biblical stories are magnificent, and it's always a pleasure looking at new chapters :-) TT
  20. and pieces of poisoned apple pie were lay scattered in the room. The walrus saw the beating heart on the ground and ...
  21. Hehe :) Thanks Hinckley for your patience :-) Good luck to everyone, break a leg! :-P TT
  22. a certain fat walrus followed a strict heart diet...
  23. Note that although the game experience is great, the accuracy is very low, as multiple troops from different times fight together at the same time... TT
  24. Uhm... Romans didn't have war chariots. Only for games and parades for example. You cuold use a spear with a "technic figure ski pole" or an enlarger like in the viking ship to make the spears longer. Although, you are mentioning the classical Greece period, not Alexander the Great? Phalanxes were composed of heavy hoplites, with bronze shin guards, linnen or bronze breast armour, and a bronze helmet. For helmets you could use the shadow knight helmet, or my design (mor appropriate for Attic helmet than Corinthian): Greek helmet Then you also have lighter infantry varying in armour and weapons like bowmen, slingers, etc. I'm no expert on war chariots in the classical Greece period, but I think they weren't used anymore at those time by the Greeks. (Mind the Persians etc. did) Hope that helps TT
  25. that's dr octopus's head. He is a mad scientist :-P you can buy it on BL if you want to. Looking forward to back pics of this set. TT
