  1. Wow, that is truly impressive. I love the amount of detail you put into it!
  2. I joined the legions and did my duty in voting for Castle!
  3. I supported Classic Castle as a general subject with an emphasis on Dragon Masters as a subtheme. Overall I'd take any Castle throwbacks.
  4. I must say, I haven't been this interested in a new licensed theme in a long long time. Very well played moved by LEGO!
  5. I’ve overall stopped buying LEGO Star Wars in recent years, but I must say that Mando pack is tempting. Overall a very nice set of figures for a battle pack.
  6. Overall stands out heavily from sets from other themes this year, love the neon vibes and recolours! Personally feels like a Cyberpunk and Tron Legacy mix, which isn't bad to me. (Also while countless others have said this, the Gamer Market is a great steal, even cheaper than the City packs it sounds like!)
  7. Last wave was better... Still love the Ghost Fair, if not largely because it has a circusish feel which we don't get much of outside DC.
  8. Eh, maybe? Scooby Doo, Ninjago's ghost stuff, the Ghostbusters Firehouse set, and the monsters themed Collectible Minifigure Series 14 were all in the same year.
  9. Uh... Can we get Galidor again?
  10. (Linking here to put in the right thread, check the actual post for the tweet as it isn't going through along with my comment)
  11. Will point out Toothdominoes (A LEGO designer) on Twitter stated Clemence, from LEGO City Adventures head print was going to be real, so maybe more LEGO City Adventures tie in stuff?:
  12. I'd certainly state it was similar to Galidor and a product from the same time. Create TV & Film, that was LEGO's TV division back in the day before being sold off, often kept away from having an actual LEGO feel with things like Little Robots (Of which in fact it was Create/LEGO behind the TV show, despite common fiction it was a licensed theme) and even the first 3 Bionicle movies.
  13. While I posted this on another forum I lurk around, I thought after the reaction to some of this stuff some you might take interest in this also. The following information is presented in order of the show's development.: Work on Project X presumably began sometime in 2001 with Dave Edwards and Fred Gambino: Presumably, the LEGO person was Michael Carrington of which I, in fact, found out about this on his site: http://michaelcarrington.tv/ The show was designed to have tie in sets, though I have ran into nothing stating how far they got if anywhere. and would have been centered around a story that would have been somewhere in between Tron and ReBoot: https://variety.com/2002/digital/features/capers-mask-fits-lego-1117865293/ Also for art not made by the people who did the soon to be explained pilot here’s some art of Fred Gambino's: Now to the pilot, it was being made at Mainframe and what I’ve heard about its length has varied from a couple minutes to 10. Heck peoples memories even differed, for instance, take how Kevin Gambles memory (Understandably) changed: Also, this costume designers site has yet another runtime:http://www.ffionelinor.co.uk/: As for the live action it would have been used when the kids were in our world: With a transformation bit to bridge stuff: For 3D imagery from the pilot we have a couple of images: And some hoverboard stuff found here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/646993/Vehicle-Design After the pilot was made LEGO took it to the market, but it, unfortunately, didn’t have enough traction to go further: After this, the show was canned until around 2008 when Dave Edwards somehow began working on this without LEGO, not entirely sure what went down there but noting that Little Robots TV show went on after LEGO sold Create TV & Film (Which kept rights to the show) to Vanessa Chapman it doesn’t surprise me Other notes: Kevin's site called it Project X: Cybernet Surfers, though I’ve not seen it called that elsewhere And this page used to have a video that got removed: http://web.archive.org/web/20080925145622/http://www.tinopolis.com:80/Animation/ProjectX/?pid=37&id=61 Blog post with raw messages: https://thebrickome.wordpress.com/2019/01/21/raw-project-x-emails/ Also a shout out thanks to jamesster and Professor Brickkeeper for help at some points
  14. Footage for it has made it out, looks pretty cool even if it isn't related to LEGO City Undercover.
  15. Is it possible these sets, if canned had the same new rumored material that got LEGO AL canned? From what I've seen TLM2 sets have been selling decently at least, so it's somewhat shocking to see this. Nothing looked too different in the movie, but we haven't seen the sets. (Obviously)
  16. This theme has been shockingly quite, maybe its canned?
  17. Somewhat curious about that too
  18. As noted above, it seems to be based off this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_Orbital_Platform-Gateway
  19. While I doubt that'd happen, I really would like to see this.
  20. Finally Just saw the leaks and love the designs! Here are a few quick notes of mine: -The smaller space shuttle set is great and amazing for its size! I honestly wasn't expecting much if it did go down and somewhat wondered if the rover was switched with it before this. -The rover I'm a bit mixed on as it feels a bit off, want to see this one in a less prelim form -The Lunar space station, love this and how it seems to be based off the Lunar Gateway that should be being worked on in the next decade. This one is my favorite. -The larger space shuttle is great, front feels a bit like the Quinjets from Marvel, but that doesn't hurt it. -The space launch base, love the featuring of the SLS rocket that is being made currently Overall noting where things are heading the next decade I'd say this line is perfect for City, as its inclusion makes perfect sense.
  21. 2, minor print differences mainly relating to the color and a bit of extra print (I'd call it speckled, though its probably not the best word to describe it) at the bottom of the orange one where the white leaves it printless
  22. Yes, the same upcoming theme. They both have the new space logo for the theme.
  23. Yep, a white one and an orange one
  24. Just saw the new torsos, really hyped for the line.
  25. The only thing that might save the franchise is the tie in merch sales, as often their sales outdo the movies themselves
