  1. RIP LEGO Movies
  2. Just got mine! Thanks CopMike!
  3. Honestly, I think you're both right in certain areA. People got wore out on LEGO movies in 2017 when there were 2 back to back, but also a Batman specific movie might do better with Batman's brand name and such.
  4. In the past couple of weeks, there have been reports of a LEGO City TV show coming. At first, it was debated to be related to Hidden Side but today it was confirmed to be happening and to be released on Nickelodeon in this press release: https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/nickelodeon-brian-robbins-spongebob-lego-paddington-john-cena-1203139534/ Personally based off the description and the fact a donut shop is coming soon in a city line that was supposed to be related I'm hoping its related to LCU, but we'll have to wait and see Also to be noted Zusammengebaut shared this bit about its length:
  5. Same here honestly, though the city show should have at least a Ninjago/Nexo Knights sized season though with 20 episodes that are 11 minutes long
  6. While they are in the LEGO City number line, I wouldn't be shocked of the possibility they had a bit of different branding to make the TV tie in connection clear and possibly to avoid people thinking existing media (AKA LEGO City Undercover) is apart of it
  7. Same here, wish other heroes could take the spot light for change
  8. Just heard that several sets are going to tie into a LEGO City TV show, wonder how populated with in show characters they'll be. (What came out of Google translate) Also very hyped for Mars stuff, amusing LEGO went ahead with sending City there before us
  9. Like the sound of what we're getting with space sets, also the donut shop sounds like it could be interesting
  10. Blackwell's moonbase, which had moon buggys and such. Fit pretty well into the LEGO city world. Here's some footage of it, warning though there's spoilers as it's the final part of the game:
  11. Must have just been editing the post as you were writing that, oops
  12. Not only that, but LEGO City Undercover touched upon the concept a bit so it certainly fits in quite well
  13. My attempt at miniland style santa, still a lot to get a hang of with that style of fig though....
  14. There's some new stuff in the ads for Watch The LEGO Movie free:
  15. *deleted*
  16. If this is happening, maybe it has to do with the minidolls in TLM2 setline as they don't want to take away sales from that but also still want some girly theme?
  17. It's still cracked, you see it better here with the highest quality version of yesterdays poster: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DexwcsrV4AI2Irk.jpg:orig
  18. Really hyped for this. Minidolls in space sounds very exciting.
  19. Typical TT trailer, all prerendered video, no gameplay. I really wish it used TLBM designs, but that's in it's own universe. Also there's a seemingly odd focus on the character customizer.
  20. New gameplay trailer Mr Incredible looks freaky as heck in the car scene
  21. New trailer, no gameplay. Typical TT Games.
  22. http://www.animationmagazine.net/people/jorge-r-gutierrez-breaks-off-from-billion-brick-race/ Oh dear, not sure what this means for the future of The Billion Brick Race.
  23. The designs LEGO most likely created like TLM also people from LEGO (Like Mathew Ashton and Michael Rayhawk) were involved in its conception. Its a collaboration between LEGO and WB animation (Like between LEGO and Wilfim for Ninjago), most definitely not a licensed theme.
  24. Shouldn't this topic be in the Action and Adventure sub forum? Or maybe special themes?
  25. Pretty sure that was decided on back in 2012 before Disney bought out Lucasfilm. Also I’ve heard TLBM concept art had Disney characters that obviously weren’t in TLBM.
