  1. No this discussion needs to be moved to the General Mod Discussion 2016 thread now.
  2. Edit : Okay, nothing was said that hasn't already been said a dozen times. We can't discuss rumors in the rumors thread because somebody who checks out the most popular threads on this forum probably once a week, can't just check the first post of the thread (Up-to-date concrete facts) and instead complains to Nemo that they can't tell if Killer Clown Batman is going to be in a 2018 set or not? I would refer them to the first post, tell them to check back regularly and to have a nice day. Not smother the users who are excited at the rumors we're hearing.
  3. However many Sanctum Sanctorums you're seeing now, I would expect to see only a fraction of that as we get nearer to the movie's release, and even less afterward. Pretty soon, Marvel is going to start pushing this movie and it'll only get rarer. I wouldn't wait too long if I were you.
  4. Neither is little-man syndrome, but that's neither here nor there. Just my opinion, as I visit each theme on EB every now and then, and Nemo is the only mod whose name I can even remember off the top of my head, because he chimes in every 10 posts with reprimands about not using a period at the end of a post, which is pointless, or complaining that we talk about (discuss) things we heard through a grapevine, and may thus not be true (rumors), in threads titled "Rumors and Discussion", which is just asinine. And then complains when users don't listen to him.
  5. I was just gonna say I think he has a Napoleon complex.
  6. Pretty much nothing is considered "concrete" until Lego themselves releases information or pictures. Anything before that is either sketchy or leaked.
  7. Looks like a little low-rent, but I guess it should, considering it's almost definitely homemade.
  8. This. Although with Marvel movies it's a pretty safe bet it will be enjoyable no matter what.
  9. "Arguably"? Please. To say it's unrealistic is a wild understatement. Unless you spend the next year in Amish country and stick your fingers in your ears just to be safe. I trust when the first trailer drops, you won't watch it. He's literally in the first trailer.
  10. Yeah with the discs and stuff, Dark World Thor was great. You could slap Gerard Butler's face on those ^ shots of Thor, and he would look like Joe Spartan. Pretty generic.
  11. Oh no spoiler alert!--v GotG 2 spoiler --v ^-- Spoiler ^It's a spoiler, you guys! (Not really) Amazed me how many people called this a "spoiler" in the 2017 Lego Marvel thread. If you define "spoiler" as "something you didn't know about something because you're completely utterly ignorant of the entire subject", then fine. But we (General public) haven't seen a single scrap of this film, yet it's relatively common knowledge, because James Gunn himself (Director) said if they waited to reveal "him" in the movie premiere itself, they wouldn't be able to advertise the movie at all, because of how large (Haha) his presence is in the movie. Were these same people upset when it was "spoiled" that Black Panther was going to be in Civil War before we saw a single scrap of footage from it? Oh, spoilers, Black Panther is in Civil War. Because there's really no difference. Black Panther was part of the movie's advertising, including trailers and commercials, and from the sounds of it, Ego will have similar presence in GotG 2. Did they expect to make it to the film premiere without discovering something that was unveiled to thousands of people at SDCC a year prior to the film's release? Related: /rant
  12. (Im)patiently waiting for Charlie Cox's Daredevil to make an appearance in an MCU film (And resulting minifigure). Homecoming would be the most logical. Also not incredibly stoked for Ghost Rider on AoS. No problem with the character himself, but if he's going to be a show regular (No idea, haven't paid much attention to any news), I foresee a lot of Robbie Reyes in lieu of actual Ghost Rider to save on surely-expensive CGI, along the lines of Hank Henshaw vs. Martian Manhunter (Supergirl) or Stein/Jax vs. Firestorm. I think we'll actually see Ghost Rider every couple episodes (If he's a regular) rather than every combat sequence.
  13. Maybe it's Sam Wilson Super Adaptoid!
  14. Maybe 7 billion is the magic number for how many times it must be said that the probability of this one being Sam Wilson is beyond microscopic, infinitesimally small. Like 1 out of 7,000,000,000 probability. There's some math. The End.
  15. I wish they had a line for licensed video games (And tv/movies, I guess). If only one 20-40$ set per franchise. Would love to have an official Mass Effect set or The Last Of Us. Probably MOC-sourced like Ideas (With a lower vote requirement) to gauge which franchise would actually be worth their time. I mean, they made a BBT after all. Obviously wouldn't be able to do really dark/mature themes, but I'd be happy.
  16. Freaking exactly. How many more times does it have to be said, by the very people whose info we don't even take a grain of salt with? Give it a rest, guys. I check this thread when it's bumped for new info, not 2 new pages of "But what if it IS Sam Wilson, though?"
  17. Built Sanctum Sanctorum today. Cool build and the monster feature is nice. Makes me wish Lego would make some DC setpieces, instead of vehicles in every set. (Or at least some setpieces at this pricepoint. Not 100$+ Arkhams, Batcaves, and Joker Lands)
  18. I'd like to see at least one new (Better) one. (As opposed to the Quinjets zigzagging in scale and quality) I passed up on the first Milano on multiple occasions because it's the only aspect of the set I cared about. A badass ship, for sure, but not a real interesting set as a whole, to me. I don't care about Drax or Gamora or Ronan, and I already got a StarLord from the cheap GotG set. A better StarLord, to boot. So I've been passing it up in the hopes that GotG2 spawns a new Lego Milano in a generally more interesting set.
  19. Are the TRU dcpis for the dc sets out there? Picked up Scarecrow today but they didn't have Croc. Pleasantly surprised at the builds. I heard the tractor and combine were cool, but I wasn't digging the Batcopter until I started building it. It's pretty slick, and after I covered the field of studs on the tail, I like it quite a bit.
  20. Well, it has a Batman cowl, and the backpack juts up too high for her ponytail, so I'd say it's a safe bet that it's Batman.
  21. The leaked vehicle wasn't a drill, it's a rotating stud shooter.
  22. I count ~30. The BvS Batmobile is ~25, had a (small) secondary build with it, and was $30 for 306 pieces. So the Joker car has 130 more pieces for an extra $20. No matter which way you measure it, that price is not awesome.
  23. I hope that's not the right final price on the Joker car. The Batmobile I could see being $60, but Joker's car isn't that big at all and only has 430 pieces. From the shots we've seen, I'd be hesitant to to say it's worth 40, never mind 50.
  24. The front's not wide enough for that. I'm thinking there's ratchets on the back wheel hubs too, and it will be able to strafe/rotate like the Arkham Knight Batmobile.
