  1. The problem I have is that a corresponding order to arrest Palpatine doesn't create a balance of power. Once Order 66 is ordered, the corresponding order is totally irrelevant. The next question is that if a corresponding order existed, why didn't Windu invoke it once he learned that Palpatine is the Sith Lord.
  2. Well. I do not expect the Jedi Council to say: "Chancellor, we have looked into Order 66 - and you know what? We find it totally reasonable. Of course there is a realistic chance that the Jedi Order will grasp for the power of the Republic, and consequently it is totally reasonable to draft a law and an Order to take care of this possibility by wiping out the Jedi. It is equally reasonable that you are the only one to determine whether or not the Jedi try to take over the leadership of the Republic, and that you are the only one who can set Order 66 in motion, without any further democratic check." So to me, the big question is how Palpatine can get away with it. Did it pass the Jedi's attention? I'd find that hard to swallow. If it didn't pass the Jedi's attention, why then didn't they intervene or grew suspicious? These are the questions that remain unanswered, though we might know what Order 66 is.
  3. Ok. In this case, the mistake in the moulding occured pretty often in the new moulding, at least that is what I can conclude from the reviews available, especially at youtube. The black/grey printing of the breathing tubes ("nose", left/right of the "mouth") instead of the merely black printing and the slightly higher position of the "mouth" occur only in the new moulding?
  4. As you can see here (taken from this review), this is not correct. Some have a dot, others don't. It occurs that the "don't" helmets are from set 8091, but I do not know for sure.
  5. That is basically what my question is amining at: is the helmet of the clone trooper from 8091 (Swamp Speeder in 2010) the only one that does not have the dot in the middle of the backside? (The question is about a bricklink issue I have.)
  6. Can anyone tell me if ALL plain white helmets from set 7655 have the dot in the middle of the back side?
  7. Dave Filoni on time travelling: Filoni has realized that Star Wars is not science fiction but fantasy (afaik, the first one who realized that is Stephen King, as early as 1981 in "Danse Macabre"). Filoni realized as well that the time travelling plot simply doesn't fit to the mystic and fantastic world of Star Wars. So I do not believe there will be a time travelling plot about killing Vader in the past. Of course, Filoni is not responsible for the show. But I'd take it for granted that those who are are smart enough to realize that they hardly could do something more stupid than making such a plot. Maybe it's possible, but it would take a huge effort.
  8. It occurs to me that the visors of the old and the new ARF Troopers look different: Does anyone else have the same problem or are the visors just fine?
  9. There is a slight variant of that ARF Trooper which currently is my favorite printing:
  10. Ok! How do I do that? edit: It doesn't seem to work via BB Code. Ok, I resized them on my computer and used the new pics as links on brickshelf.
  11. I wondered how the Commando Droid may look with "normal" legs. I also wondered how the ARC Trooper might look with a different armor. jmagaletta provided me with a shot since I don't won the Opress minifig. Thanks for the picture :)
  12. Oh! I thought that it was integrated because otherwise it's pretty difficult to place or remove a minifig at resp. from the seat. The legs might be stable enough to hold the construction if you don't play with it, for for placing the minifig, the 2x2 part is necessary.
  13. Nice review :) Actually, the reference for the ARC Trooper is this one.
  14. Hi Hendrik, thanks for the information :) Can you tell us whether the Droid Commander in set 9515 (Malevolence) is a new one or one of old Commanders?
  15. Me too, but I think the episode was pretty average.
  16. I like the Bomb Squad Troopers. The problem is that they are hardly featured in the show (2 episodes). So maybe in a couple of years, when they are no longer available through BL or elsewise, their value might rise. Personally, I would not bet on it.
  17. Well, Lego has to find an optimum between shape, number of tiles, and playability. When the playability (which implies design of the interior) and the number of tiles are given, the shape is a resultant.
  18. No, I don't. Thanks for your help and your effort :)
  19. I will quote myself. The part relevant to your question is marked bold:
  20. If I remember correctly 9515 was described as having a "detailed interior", which might explain why the ship looks a bit disproportioned from the outside.
  21. Maybe. That's what I'd like to see :)
  22. I agree that one has to be careful about NSS. But that doesn't help much to figure out what to do if in doubt about the seller's motives. The two options are to write to the seller or to remain in doubt about the seller. If the seller doesn't read the message or doesn't reply to the message, he is responsible for everything that happens as a consequence of his inaction.
  23. I hope so. I thought about it, and what I really would like to see are minifigs in TCW/non-TCW style that will never be released in any set, simply because they neither appear in TCW nor in the PT/OT. Such minifigs would really be exclusive. Examples: Darth Sidious (TCW-style, designed as he looks after the duel with Mace Windu) Darth Vader (TCW-style) Captain Rex (non-TCW-style) edit: Can anyone post or send me a picture showing the new ARC Trooper combined with the armor piece of Savage Opress (no pauldron, no backpack)?
  24. What I basically mean is the action that initiates the law enforcing process. I do not know the correct term, though. If you received an invoice and he does not respond after you paid, I'd say there is a pretty good chance that he tries to scam you. (And if he didn't change the status of the order, he may be not very smart as well.) Personally, I didn't have any disputes yet. It happened rather often that something was wrong with the delivery (missing parts, wrong parts), but these issues very fixed quickly and without discussion.
  25. If there should be a 30 years promo figure 2013, I'd like to see nice printed Scout Trooper, or a chrome Han in carbonite, or a minig sized Kenobi or Anakin as force ghosts. 2013 will be the 5th year of TCW, though, so it might be pretty cool as well to special version of a clone Trooper, preferably Rex. May 25, though, will be the 25th anniversary of Star Wars, so I think we'll see something special that day.
