This has some real potential, and the lights sound like a good idea. I'm sure once you put in all the detail, it will look amazing. Just make sure you put in some humor, like the passengers playing with the ice on the deck. :-) If you plan to get rid of it, I'm sure you could sell it to somewhere. Maybe a museum featuring a Titanic section, or maybe one of the big lego stores, like the Disneyworld one. :-)

One thing I don't like to do is rebuild sets. I've never liked looking in my bins for half an hour looking for a specific peice, to discover it was right next to me... :'-( I've been trying to rebuild my '06 EF, but I haven't built up the courage yet...

Hang Lego sets from the ceiling. I hung up my useless 2007 flying EF sets. They look nice. :-) Here's a suggestion: Why don't we turn this into a "Lego Lair Improvement Thread", and everyone puts up their ideas on decoration, etc.?
