  1. I've never been so grateful to get to go to Alaska every year during 4th of July... X-D My town (Or is it city now? Too many people!) has never had too many problems. I'm shocked to hear that people put razors in candy. :-X Just horrible. If you want to see true decline of society, visit a High School. :-X When you know that people think that if someone is stupid enough to streak across a football field naked, there's something wrong. :-|
  2. I have to say what impresses me most is your lighting technique! 8-
  3. The biggest set I have hung at the moment is Jango's Slave I. I only used one string for that... The thought of hanging the beast scares me. I'd be more worried about the knots coming loose, string breaking, etc. If you use a LOT of string to keep the weight off of any one point, that would be best, but really ugly. :-/
  4. Hoping to. We'll see. It's a long trip. :-/
  5. Ow. I've had something similar happen to me, but it's not Halloween related. Basically A lady pays no attention to her kids, kids mess around, I stop them, lady gets mad, lectures me, I tell what happened to my boss... Then, the lady goes to my boss, and starts way overdoing it. Ripping things out of her kid's hands, blah blah... I go back to my boss, tell her the lady is a raving lunatic (NOT in those words). While I'm gone, the lady walks by my co-worker and gives here the evil-eye. :-| Ask if you want more detail. X-D As for me, I've never had any Halloween incidents, mostly because I live too far away from the big neighborhoods. Still, we leave a bowl of Reese's out on the door so our house isn't assaulted by hooligans by way of eggs and toilet paper. However, I'm more worried about being sniped by a paintball when I step out the door. 8-|
  6. He he... Temporary Halloween substitute image. :-D
  7. And they lived happily ever after! *sweet* I'm glad you two made up- That could've become quite nasty.
  8. I like it. Very festive. :-D Funny, maybe I ought to have made myself a halloween avvie before posting this. :-P
  9. I prefer the term GOBLIN. :-P Troll warrior seems to fit the big guys much better in my opinion.
  10. Whoops, you're a bit late. These are already being discussed in multiple topics. ;-)
  11. Great. Now, turn his head into a pumpkin and you'll be fine. :-P
  12. Again, it ain't over till the fat lady sings, punk!! :-P The contest doesn't end until the 26th. There's plenty of time for the poll to shift. ;-)
  13. There you go again! |-/ :-P I meant you two need to settle your differences. ;-)
  14. First off, let me apologise if I've posted in the wrong forum, or weren't supposed to post this. :-) All right, you ghouls, monsters, and ghosts! Put on your sheets, practice your scary moaning, polish those chains! Halloween is here! Most importantly, change your avatar, be it sigfig or something else- make it festive! Let's turn EB orange! :-) ...Again, sorry if I'm in the wrong place. :-$
  15. Heh, Dr. Phil. Maybe Dr. M? :-P Maybe you two need to settle this with a MOC-off. ;-)
  16. All right, I bow down to your superior knowledge of your tunic. :-P On a related note, does anyone else think it's time for a Halloween-ify Your Avatar 2007 topic?
  17. That may be slightly more subtle, but didn't you just do that? :-/ Just trying to avoid an argument between you two. :-)
  18. Not to try to tell you what to do here, Chuck, but isn't this the type of thing you apologised for? The rolled eyes smilie isn't very helpful here, either. If you're not trying to be rude here, it does look like it. We can't always understand what you mean here. :-)
  19. I don't really trick-or-treat, but I do like to go to a friend's house to show off each other's costumes. You'd be suprised about wool. Unless I'm missing something here- does it have a liner or anything like that? I'd guess that your tunic is pretty similar to my band uniform, and it did get chilly when I wore it. :-$
  20. SN, you really release these in waves! :-P I like it. The waterfall does look a bit static, but other than that, it's fine. I have some other small gripes, like the barbed wire not quite looking like barbed wire until I read it was, but... It's great, you have a real talent here. :-) I feel so pathetic now, I've onl posted about two MOCs... :'-( Soon to be three, though. :-P
  21. That does seem a bit odd... :-P I think it's too formal for winter use, and the wind would go right through it. Brr! Guess what I'll be? A LEGO brick, of course. X-D
  22. Great find! I'm liking the yellow mech more, and the Storm Lasher looks like it could easily be turned into a dropship. 8-
  23. Oops. I just noticed that after looking at the new EF topic... :-$
  24. EF is amazing !! Much better than the magazine pics we've seen. It looks like they're breaking away from their habit of only mechs! Spider, cat, tank, and some flying thing! The flying robot thing is awesome. I love the use of Troll swords for propellers, and the prop guard looks to be made of the Hailfire treads. 8-
  25. Halloween is going strong in my family. Every year, two weeks before halloween, we pull out all five boxes of halloween decorations... We also go to the Corn Maze each year. That's a lot of fun. It features a large corn field that's been grown specificaly for the purpose of making a maze through it. It can take the whole day to get out. After, we go out, buy a dozen pumpkins or so... and get carving! *sweet*
