It was a joke ! I designed and built the pedestal myself from pictures like this one: If there would have been extra pieces included the box would have had to be twice the size and them some ... !

Jealousy, doubt and begrudge in one post - wow .There are prizes, cool & lots of them. I´m moving from my apartment to a new one and at the same time working a lot which include travelling abroad. Because of that and me being a perfectionist, I´ll keep the prizes a secret until I can take nice pictures of them and post them. But do not distrust this years EB Santa, you´ll will be happy ! A little clue, it´s sƃıɟıuıɯ.

Nice revieiw Inconspicuous ! Good pictures and text, and a great party at the end! I love my set, because I kind of enjoy really big builds. It was a bit dull to build challangewise, but as you wrote one could really see the progress. I was extremely lucky - my set came with extra pieces to build the sandstone base ! So this is my setup: The set has pretty basic pieces but a couple of rare ones also: 1 - Slope, Inverted 33 3 x 2 4 - Brick, Round Corner 2 x 2 Macaroni 8 - Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1

Well, that will change for next year in Billund, prepare to be bullied ! (just kidding)

More sets=new sets. Off course you have the right to an opinion, I´m just saying this isn´t the thread for it. This is for quality issues etc. Please belive me when I write that, it makes my job easier=your chance to make a difference bigger ! What about the quality?, a bit more information please if I´m going to relay this to TLG. TLG will not give away information about upcoming/not upcoming sets - sorry! See above!

Ok, less than 4 days left and no more than 37 people are interested in the chance of having FREE stuff ! I didn´t think I would need to force people to enter but here´s some more details that might get you interested: The stuff is free and so is delivery worldwide Supercool stuff Yes, it´s an adventcalender this year again which means 24 days of winnings It´s free! There might be more than one winner a day, maybe up to three !? You only need to build something with at least two (2) pieces that has some Xmas feeling to it If you don´t enter you so WILL regret it for a whole year Minifigs are involved Did I mention it´s free?! Because the retailers hasn´t been interested in it, so TLG can´t put stuff into the shops that the shops themselfs doesn´t want. And TLG hasn´t really been on it´s toes on this one, but next year it´s been said that the calender will arrive because the fans wants them and there´s a two-year turnaround time to plan a set into the schedule. Only Great Britain & Germany for the first year as a sell tryout, worldwide next year. Which ones? Promotionals are like the rest, there has to be an interest from a retailer, newspaper etc. TLG makes small sets all the time which they present to the retailers or suggest to a customer if TLG is approached about doing a promo thing. That´s why for example the 8029 Snowspeeder never made it into the real world, only instructions and a possible design picture: The 8028, 8031 and 8033 did make it because someone wanted it, the 8031 by the swedish cinemachain SF where I found it in sept 2008.

The US and Europe - two different markets with there own warehouses etc. So for now it´s sold out in the US which means it won´t come back before Christmas. Does that mean it´s gone forever? Nope, a set - this included, usually has a 2 year lifespann. So it will be gone long enough for TLG to mark it sold out, but it should resurface later next year.

I´ve been to the vault a bunch of times, with snefroe also , and the main use for those sets are as reference for the legal department. Why? Well when a crappy copycat company (no name ) might launch a product that´s looks to much like the original TLG set, they go down and bring the set as evidence that they were first. If that means ripping up a box - well then they´ll do it! The vault in the video should be the real "keepers" vault.
