    Lego ideas!

Hi RedJJDev! That´s why I moved this topic to Community.
  2. Everybody can have there own opinion. But I think a statement like your "LEGO should know better than to leave it last minute." just might be a bit to self cofident. I know there are a fine line between keeping information "secret" to avoid other companys to copy and start selling a set before the release by Lego, and satisfying fan wishes for early info. And there could be marketing plans involved to not flood the market with certain types of sets at the same time. But do feel fre to send a message with your thoughts to Lego!
  3. It´s always a good idea to read up on a forums rules & FAQ´s:
  4. Answer: You can read more about our forum in this topic!
  5. If you read my post a couple of steps above with that comes from LEGO you might have your answer/a part of what you ask?!
  6. From Kim:
  7. Nice one Baron ! Yeah, it´s a tough crowd of world class Moc-ers here!
  8. I do understand that, thanks. Good or bad, who knows. But there´s no meaning in gloating on accidental leaks that could hurt the relationship between the companies, and in a worst case scenario limit the SW Lego line in the future.
  9. I don´t think this was made intentionally. Someone did their job like they usually do and wasn´t aware of the embargo & size of the 4th of september. In large corporations it´s hard to do everything right and the same. Enjoy the catalog while it lasts online.
  10. How about reading through the thread before posting?
  11. Again, this is not a forum for people to ask for pictures sent to them or communicate one2one. A community board is for more people to interact Stop that behaviour please.
  12. What part of "confidential" do you find hard to understand? I'm sure Lego legal department is really impressed by these actions of yours! I would think that if you really are a toyshop owner, that being able to sell Lego would matter to you.And all you internet noobs that splash your e-mail around here, I guess your spam filters are going to fill up.
  13. Yes!And you don't have to write "hypotechlially-isch" in every sentence. Go and look at the picture elsewhere, then come back and discussi it without using the official name & number. Definition of hypocrite behavior? You bet!
  14. That there is a wow-factor when the customers hits the stores. It's not only Lego on Eurobricks, it's ALL merchandise all over the internet & IRL. Here's what they (Disney) want:http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-force-awakens-products-to-arrive-on-force-friday-september-4 Did I hear somebody saying trailers? I for one don't have to see the whole movie before I go and see the whole movie. I could even go into a store without knowing how everything inside looks, and still consider the possibility that I'll end up buying something. So come on now people. Yes, it's a crappy situation. Yes, the cat is out of the box. Yes, anyone could still find out what they want by looking around the net. Play ball and continue to discussion but without those things we've been asked to not show!
  15. Thanks for understanding and yeah, in the era of lightning fast communication and 1 TB hard drives it gets a bit frustrating ! Maybe so but this goes for all communitys through the internet! Of course sites like Reddit that isn´t a LEGO community that wants/needs to be on speaking terms makes it easier for them. Yes, through business deals with it´s retailers. And when a retailer breaks it´s their Legal Department that is working overtime to try to minimize the fall out. But as I said first - broadband and big hard drives makes it hard.
  16. The request to the communitys through the LEGO Ambassador Network (LAN) is this:
  17. Hi all you SW fans that are so eagerly awaiting the next wave of great sets! As a SW fan myself, actually the very LEGO theme sets that brought me out of my Dark Ages in 2000, I´m also excited about the what´s coming ! BUT - Because of the special situation with the "re-start" of SW and the new business owner of SW, Disney, LEGO has asked to avoid showing pictures, set names & numbers or prices until the 4th of september. Quote by KIm Thomsen on behalf of the whole Community Engagement & Events (CEE) department: That includes pictures of real sets bought from a real shop that have jumped the gun! I know it sounds corny but as you saw above, steps are been taken to help the stores honour the 4th of septemebr. SO - there will be a tight moderation in the Star Wars forum from now on! But please help out by playing nice and not post pictures, official names & prices of sets. But feel free to still discuss around the information about the movie that´s not the above!
  18. The Extra Parts picture has exactly the same parts as the set, so is there double of everything?
  19. First one is Hinge Coupling - Nylonhttp://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=650#T=C The second isn't Lego.
  20. Very very cool! Looks like Troja !
  21. Nice! How many cohorts are you going to muster?
  22. A search on 4 x 12 gives you this: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=803
