  1. Your build passes and you get 12 brick bucks. Moving forward, you're going to have to do a little more building on these mission builds. Placing a few bricks and minifigs on a baseplate will not pass moving forward.
  2. Due 7/12/22 Due 7/12/22
  3. In the other years of GBW it has not been allowed. The one time it might have been allowed, members took it to a Brick of Nations vote to ban them and it passed unanimously. I will allow all of you to discuss this.
  4. That would depend on your pretext for declaring war. It's one thing if they are infringing on your country.... it's something else entirely if you just want to infringe on theirs. We'll have to see how things unfold.
  5. Curtis Larkin- Ambassador from the Republic of Filace "The world sits in a state of turmoil. Recent conflicts have not quite cooled off and others appear to be brewing. It is our duty to maintain an open channel of communication with all nations to prevent further full scale war and promote cooperation throughout our globe. Our Republic stands committed to ensure peace globally and we call on all nations, regardless of affiliations, to work together in this chamber to bring about change through discourse."
  6. The Brick of Nations: A call to civility and diplomacy The Brick of Nations is officially open for the current round of Great Brick War. This is where nations are free to bring forth their issues or seek to invoke international laws. Nations that have more than (1) Player must ensure that they have only (1) representative at a time to voice concerns at the Brick of Nations. This will be left to the individual nations to decide who their representative will be. The format for addressing the Brick of Nations Shall be as follows: 1. A player wishes to motion for a new international law - A player must post in this thread that their nation is seeking to institute an international law. That nation must... Build a case in their post as to why this needs to be done and... The player must get (3) other nations to co-sign their motion by posting agreement to said motion in this thread. If a player achieves the (3) cosignatures, the council (myself and staff) will determine if the cause can move to a general vote. If it is determined that the Brick of Nations is not going to vote, the issue is dead and cannot be resurrected unless circumstances provide building a substantial case. If the council approves the motion to vote, a separate thread will be opened to vote. Each nation will have (1) vote. If multiple entries are posted from (1) nation, the first one will be the vote counted. 2. A player can air a grievance with another nation - A player can seek to resolve an issue with another nation directly or they can ask for a council resolution. If a council resolution is requested, it must be detailed and show cause for a resolution. The council will determine the outcome of any resolution and may open the floor to a vote as outlined in #1. 3. A nation can make a formal declaration - this is used for nations to state intentions. Declarations of War, territorial outcomes based on battle, intent to break a treaty or alliance, ultimatums. Any country that is seeking to use military force against another must formally declare war against the country it is using force against. Any nation that uses military action against a sovereign nation without declaring war may be subject to action from the Brick of Nations. All posting in this thread is to be done in character and as a representative of your nation. Players are encouraged to create a unique Minifig to represent them as their nations Ambassador to the Brick of Nations. Staff may create ambassadors for your country to use for promotional content to drive the game. It is important to keep an eye on this section and try to build (pun intended) off of what the staff creates. This area is not to be abused or cluttered with endless back & forth ranting. Be professional and diplomatic.
  7. Good Question. Right now, we are in the opening portion of this game to get everyone acquainted with the structure and work out any bugs. Conflict Zones (territorial conflicts) have not started yet and will be limited to certain areas. That being said if you initiated one through free builds, we would have to get the game moving in that direction a lot sooner. I do want to point out that the BON would likely condemn your actions and my airforce would be one of many tasked with bombing you back behind your borders. At that point, any chance of diplomacy between you and other nations would be close to zero. So you might wanna wait a little bit before you go invading sovereign nations.
  8. This is a great build!
  9. @Brickwolf due July 9
  10. I'm gonna let you guys do your own negotiations but you can bring me in afterward for the money transfers. You can do free builds any time you want though, especially with the contest going on!
  11. I just received a question regarding this..... ALL BUILDS at least 16x16 will be entered in the contest.... meaning you can have multiple entries. Quality over quantity though!
  12. Due by 7/1/22
  13. @firearmsfan apologies, you earned 20 points for this build. I had an error in posting that.
  14. Just about 2 weeks left to go! All builds minimum of 16x16 are eligible for entry.
  15. We can if you would like, but I was more inclined to allow you to work directly with the players and ask what you want for whatever they are asking you to do based on your time and availability. Either way we have to move the money from their account to yours. Wanna think about it and let us know?
  16. Another question came my way I thought I would answer here publicly. Players are allowed to reach out to PMC players directly to discuss services and pricing. However, in order for the PMC players to get paid they must inform the staff of the transaction prior to posting the build for services and the agreed amount from whichever player hired them so we can transfer the funds in the banking system. This applies right now only to @jansued & @Labrickchenko (who are still free to do their own side builds or missions as they desire)
  17. You earned 5 points for your build. No need to rush for the points, you'll get them. I was out of town travelling for a few days. I can't confirm from your picture but I want to reiterate that you can only use Lego bricks for actual building. I have a slight impression that the helicopter is a clone brand kit. Please ensure in the future you are not using clone band brick kits.
  18. Map has been updated: @firearmsfan DUE 7/13/22 @Feuer Zug DUE 6/24/22
  19. In most cases you are right but there are always outliers (look at latin American and middle eastern militaries) Also a question was brought to my attention: you are NOT bound to only take missions on the continent your country is on. There are no restrictions beyond what is posted in the mission description itself. Even free builds can go elsewhere.
