I think it's indeed probable we get some villagers in wawe 2 (in wawe 1 we got already the queen and the little girl for the knights to save, and even the king who apparently is not a fighter). If you watch the Heroes needed video, around 00.04 you will see a lot of civilians, often in double, including the 2 posted by x105Black, I guess it will be probably one (or two pretty please) of them. The farmbot would be sweet as well !!! and some village sceneries would be lovely, a small trolley maybe like in Ninjago wu dragon or like in the last video at 00.04 ... not that much proper structures compare to vehicles in wawe 1, I am afraid Lego is too well aware 6 years old boy would prefer a giant horse transforming into a bike rather than a bakery or a school like Lego Elves got... a futuristic blacksmith/mecchanic with a horse hover could be nice as well...

So nice for us they are making so much lieutenants rather than a few generic soldiers (and smart from them, even in a bad set with a knight I will have already in triple by this time, I will still buy it...)

I don't think "everyone" is 100% sure it will be stickers. The Fortrex art box photo is indeed too small to be certain. And you are right, prelims are just prelims. And I would love lego to print 100+ shields. But in this particular book case we are discussing now, the nexo power include is probably a sticker or a someting to scan. If a printed shield was include, why not put it with the squirbot ?

The power could be exclusive to this book, as they there is some 150 powers on the NK press release. It depends if this number is for wawe 1 and 2, or all NK wawes... Here, probably just a sticker inside as no shield appears with the "minifig" ? But as they said there will bill shield to scan in cereals Box and on TV, maybe it's even just a drawing ? And now I will have to collect the 5 Squirebots...

For 2017, after a tank-castle, a 120$ mecha-castle (mecastle ?) would be nice. Hoping for the good guies to change colors. Me, I really like the idea to have one HQ vehicle, like the UA Ocean HQ. So I will probably buy 90% of the sets, but only make two vehicles with wawe 1 (and possibly 2). One Fortrex, probably taller and wider to fit a stables/mechanic workshop (for the 5 horses ?), a mini dormitory, a small kitchen, a arms room (with my favorite shields, and the ultimate armors inside ? I know they are probably just their normal armor upgrading, but would be nice to have them somewhere, with trans head...) . A prison cell where I will put the second Jestro Lego will probably make me buy in some set of the second wawe... And maybe a mini library to fit my book collections if there is no super cool castle coming with the second wawe. I will try to add a dongeon on the center/back of the Fortrex starting from the second floor, splitable on the center, so when the castle open it become 2 lateral towers... And for the bad guys a 3 times higher evile mobile, siege tower style.

agreed, both would have been nice. But it means printing what after few years would be 100+ of different shields...

The mini scenery with the helmets are bigger than I expected. I am not fan of the full blue/red/green color... I wander how much will change on the real sets Robin guns are, hum... big ? for me Clay design is the worst of the 3 utimate knights... and a possible Axl utimate armor (wawe 2 ?) should be fully trans yellow, interesting My main problem is, if somehow I start getting one, I would be forced by some magical force to buy all of them

Is it me or the 2 triangles showing (the probable second wawe characters) Flame and Whiparella can't be found anymore on the UK version of the NK Lego teaser site ? Probably some intern mistake we were lucky to catch thanks to Dannallcorn...

True for Ultra Agents, and the bad guy of Galaxy Squad where nice as well. And when the sets have cool play feature or mini-monsters, or strange trans egg pieces... the kind of replace minifigs... But Chima minifigs where superb. and rather numerous... The same for Ninjago 2015 And I would say Ninjago 2016 is not that bad, especially considering the djinn and the big minifigs we will got for an ok price...

By the way Jestro, a jester, is a strange main antogonist to lead an horde of lava monster. Stranger than Saroumane leading his horde of orcs. (NB: this year vilains really feel like red orcs to me...). Not even Jestro colors match his army... I imagine the developpers meeting : "hum, who could be our castle guy turned evil ? The cook ? The princess ? Ohh I know a creazy Jester ala Harley Quinn... But a man, so it will be less obvious, and better replace black by some dark purple... But then as he as not relation to lava (he is no blacksmith who fall in his fire or something...), when lava army is gone (2017 ?), and if the book stay for a while in the background, he could still be around as well, or even lead a different army... (but to stay fresh and avoid a new army summoned by the book, I still thing Lego will try bring a new vilain even more badass and bankable...) in a lot of ways, AFOL kids can't be considered "normal" kids :)

I agree with Lyichir. 99% of lego customers are kids. And NK is targeted for young kids. And those don't choose their gifts 3 days before christmas. A lot of them will have wrote to Santa as early as November... Same for their Aunty who have been told what to buy a month before christmas. And 99% of kids are not dreaming at Nexo Knights, they doesn't know it even exist... No point to cannibalize the last Chima sets (or even Ninjago Ghosts) by pushing too early NK... And any date is good to sell lego these days... Maybe NK will be available before Christmas, but it will be a small % of Lego sells. Mostly some older kids and AFOL...

my theory : minifigs are getting better. People want to collect them more (than bricks). So Lego limit the quantity of minigifs per set, to make us buy more expensive sets. And strangely, it's more true on action themes than licensed themes... Marvel sets have an healthy numbers of figs (like Chima), Star wars is average, but still better than Ultra Agents and Galaxy squad... A quick survey on the worst minifigs number : Infearno interception, Drillex dimanond job : 2 minifgs 30$ Eradicator Mech, 2 minifigs 40$ Hive Crawler, 3 minifigs 70$ Ultracopter, Bug Obliterator, 4 minigs 80$ UA HQ, Galactic Titan, 5 minifigs 100$ Fortunately Ninjago minifigs count was super good for 2015 (5 for 40$, 9 for 100$...). 2016 is a bit lower, but not bad at all, for cool minifgs : (4 and 1 bigfig for 50$, 6 for 90$...)

Sorry, I was not clear, not taking the license of Dragons or Kung-Fu Panda, but aiming at such a level of storytelling with NK.

Yes, but in a way, strong from an unchallenged position in the toy business Lego is integrating vertically other field of the entertainment business like the cartoon, movie, apps and video games business. It helps sell gigatons of sets, bring surely money from the company using Lego image, and prevent TLC to pay even more license fees to Disney and Co (Marvel, Star Wars, Frozen etc...).So they should aim big. Lego Movie was super good, and a sucess. If they give a proper care to NK cartoon (more than Chima...), it could (have) become a cult serie, generating more buzz and more sells.... It's not expensive to hire scenarists so the childishness apparent in the NK teaser is probably a strategical and calculated decision... But still I wish they aim at something like How to train your dragons... Or Kung-Fu Panda...they are all the fun stories of a gang of 6 good guies (5 for NK and Ninjago), with cool special powers (dragons, kung-fu etc...) in an exotic action-packed world. The characters and plot are much less cheesy in these dreamwork movie series, yet the kids love them...

I don't expect some complex vilains nor intricate plot and twist in the NK first season storyline (maybe later, when the first buyers get older ?). It should be something like : "Haha I am Jestro, I will burn Knightonia, who is laughing now ?" (plop plop plop, hundreds of evil Lava monsters pop out of the evil book) "Ho no, we are the good guies, what to do ? Oh I got an Idea, let's use our super upgrades and cool 100 euros Fortrex to beat them hard!" "Arff you beat me hard, but I will come back with mooooorrree expensive lava monsters lego sets, mouarmouarfmouarf !!!!" which is a pity, I think Pixar or Star Wars movies prove a good story can please at the same time young kids, teens and adults... And youngers ones appreciate we respect them with a proper story, not full of cliché... (NB ; Ninjago plots are not that bad)

thank you CM4Sci. Regarding the price, Airjitsu are 10 as well. And the flyer and handle are big and cool. Plus weapons and stuff. A 10 euros set is usualy a main character, his 100 pieces vehicle and an opponant (Kai Fire mech, Spyclop infiltration, Space swarmer...) for NK it's more Lego dimension pricing :) Ok weapons and shields are cool, but a opponant would be fair for the price...
