  1. If it had 8-10 figs it would probably cost like 50$ more. The castle is more important. We already have enough characters to fill it.
  2. Stranger still, such bricks now appear in Creator sets!
  3. It haunted me for months. I was scared they will mess it up. Now I can finally sleep peacefully. Waiting for a piece count now. Strange that only 5 minifigs are included and four of them are variants, but it doesn't bother me much. I mean how could they not make second CMF series? It sells like hotcakes. And we already have 18 characters to fit in! Yes they nailed it. Just how high is this thing?
  4. No, come on. No. The vehicles are awful. The price is based on bigfigs of course, as it's quite insane, but we already have two Hulks, so the only good thing is She-Hulk. One or another. Marvel has an infinite number of characters, and here we are getting actually only one, in a very poor set! Definitely not buying.
  5. New waves are funnier and definitely better IMO. And of course I need this new Spidey head!
  6. I know, but their number is essential for the ppp and I was just trying to guess how many pieces it might have... Doesn't matter anyway. Just two more weeks!
  7. Hoth and Big Ben are extreme examples for sure. One thing is certain - it would not be ppp of the latter... Actually we can't tell yet how much they pay for the licence. Disney CMFs were not more expensive than other lines, but we did get less accessories. Star Wars is now Disney and pricing is ridiculous. But this will be the first "pure Disney" set. We can also try to compare it to Simpsons, "D2C Minifigure Sets" as well. They were average 0.85$ per piece and six minifigs for $200. So... 4100 pcs and 9 minifigs? Doesn't sound bad. I never play these guessing games before a release, but being totally Disney-biased, I only think about this set.
  8. I wonder about piece count. I don't expect it to be as generous as GB HQ, but it should be in line with overpriced exclusives like Batcave or Hoth. If the price $350 is correct, I say between 3200 and 3300 pieces. Not optimistic for sure, but I wouldn't expect more.
  9. That wouldn't be bad. I don't mind sore fingers as long as they aren't mine.
  10. Can we guesstimate when these early reviews appear? Can't wait. :)
  11. I only hope it will be a castle mostly and not some caricature of a castle with various subbuilds. It would hurt... as I'm buying it anyway.
  12. I bought Bridge Battle along with all other Spider-Man new sets. And I just can't recommend the Bridge more. It's so full of fun features, easter eggs and displayability that it's definitely a pinnacle of Lego Marvel so far... let's all hope for more sets from Justin, this guy's a superhero ;) Kevin's work on four bridges is testament to that.
  13. Another likes of Phoenix, Spider-Woman or black Spider-Man would kill me. How does one get these minifigs anyway? I suppose you don't just go to SDCC and return home with a 250$ worth of a fig?
  14. See a Medical Specialist, if they mess this one up.
  15. After this year's Marvel, I only want more... I didn't like them all, but there was clearly no faux pas like 2015's 76037 for example.
  16. Excellent review! I'm generally disappointed in Angry Birds sets as I don't care much about the franchise and more importantly, I don't like the amount of large parts which seems too <insert that tiresome argument> to me. But then I'm not the main target I suppose... anyway, your pictures are spotless, and fun to watch. The price is outrageous, high up there with the most expensive SW sets. It must have been a very money-consuming licence.
  17. $350 is too little. I really hoped we'd get the largest, the most expensive set to date. $350 is GB HQ... And where is GB licence compared to Disney and its most recognizable landmark? What's "IIRC"?
  18. Doc Ock mech is the only 2016 Marvel set I don't like. I took out the figures, Doc's new arms (which are much more accurate and superior to old ones), the boat and sold the rest. I also liked 2014's Doc Ock best, but that's the matter of opinion, I simply prefer printed legs to double-moulded ones. Anyway, I'm more than happy with this year's wave and there are at least two more amazing sets to go! I hope Justin Ramsden is making some of 2017 stuff as well. The Bridge Battle is already one of my all-time favourites.
  19. Thanks, I thought so. I'll just throw in a couple of other Spider-Man villains, shame I don't have no money nor space to buy four bridges :/
  20. Two bridges combined look truly amazing. I just received my first one and I hope to buy the second next month. Actually after selling spare figures it's not that much of a cost. I just wonder, will it be enough for a large diorama with some 30-40 Marvel characters including Hulk, Rhino and perhaps Hulk Buster? I think not but maybe somebody checks it before me?
