I'm still waiting for proper review that includes digging some hamsters (after removing clutches of course) and feeding them to a cat waiting down there in place of a small truck.

After Sariel's review I'm even more attracted to this set. The only issue for me is backlash which is in fact unavoidable, but could've been limited I suppose. I absolutely love how it looks, there's a lot of details on the outside, and dark blue + yellow = Not interested in racing with it, however Texas BWE Massacre is imminent.

Pictures don't really tell how massive this thing is... The video is terrific!

I will focus on large sets as they interest me most. I'm not really attracted to any theme, save maybe for Marvel SH. Generally I'm happy with 2016, even though it's a mixed bag. We did have, and I mean it, the worst UCS (or even D2C actually) ever, which is obviously Hoth. It deserves each and every bad word spent on it. And there's been a few. I was also disappointed with Batcave, especially its pricing, and Porsche to some extent (I love its look but for that price it should have PF, RC and whatever else, to deserve "ultimate" tag). And... that's it. Ghostbusters HQ and Big Ben both are terrific and moderately priced, they're just not exactly my cup of tea. I loved Maze. Spider-Man Bridge is fantastic and I already bought two. The Beetle will be mine one of these days, and Technic's BWE and Claas and of course - The Disney Castle, are must-haves for this year. I even found Prison theme attractive when I generally find City boring. Elves' and Nexo Knights' largest sets also look cool and on sale, they might be perfect parts packs with ineteresting, varied pieces. So... definitely not bad for me. Finally, after Star Wars ruling for many years, it's not on top anymore. For me, this theme could be closed even now. We've had a few versions of each vehicle already. Of course there are exceptions, like wonderful Ewok Village or the latest Slave I, but priced like that - no, thanks. I don't care for 80% of sets being released, but why should it bother me if I still don't have enough money to buy the rest?

I think you're overestimating. How many of those panels are there - 40? 50? Let's say 80 - which leaves us with 4k "normal" pieces. By the way, filling sets with smaller pieces is seen as raising the piece count for purpose. It seems it won't be the case here

With all those references to characters we don't already have like Beauty, Beast, Cinderella, Snowy White, Sleeping Beauty etc. it's hard to believe they'd keep us waiting until 2018. CMF is one thing, but there's another option - Disney theme with regular retailer sets with minifigs instead of minidolls. And less pink It all depends on sales really. Going back on topic, does anyone know what time is official reveal today?

I assumed 1600, but 1400 would be great. Another explanation - Poland's monthly minimum wage is 1400 :P

4634 pieces for $350 was a great deal. ;) But yeah, not bad at all. I expected much less judging on Batcave / Hoth.
