here is my crew and helio (for now, still a WIP) 5 recon forces, one of which is a medic/radio man. all are carrying (except the medic) semi auto sub machine guns. think of them as a quick strike/first response/ubran tactical team. possibly adding a second team. the team and helio are one group with the helio offering ground cover, patroling and extraction. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v648/opt...shun/Lego/WIPs/

Should have prelimary pics of first heavy attack helio soon. i am re-modeling an old MOC i made based off the Res-Q chopper. should be good for ground combat, patrols and urban envoriments which most of this seems to be based on.

More i think about this...how well does the actual UN work out? hmm...i sense a conspiracy...

thought bout it, ill play. i have a heavy attack helio and i can make a few more. make me head of heavy air helio attack or something i can whip up some spec ops as well...maybe make my helios some sort of recon team?

Great idea, i think this is a fun little experiment. however, this should be strictly mobile vehicles, helios and air craft. no space ships, mechs, star wars or star wars insp. vehicles IMO. kinda gettin out of hand with those. id like to join but i have nothing to offer lol

Ur heli pilot looks a few sheets to the wind, if u know what i mean. those big blood shot eyes and colorful expression...perhaps he needs the day off to sleep last nights events off. :-D

heh, i see now. looks a lot better. i only wish the truck itself was 6 wide. looks out of place with the new garbage and recycle trucks, and not to forget the fire trucks and new cargo and survuilence truck.

How much was it again? for the price it looks really solid. if u add the prison to the back it looks REAL good.

Whats so different?

Got this set last night and built it today. i really like it, very different then any castle set before. i really liked the texture on the gates and castle wall. im gunna hopefully get the large castle and make these one large castle. the ship wasnt bad, but seems kind of imcomplete. they should have included another section like the front for the back to make it look longer and like a real ship. for the price i think they could have done it. overall i like it, probaly one of the best castle sets since the classic era.

I have 2 copies of this set and loved it, one of the best to date. this is what TLC needs to do more of. another nice set that ties into this is the one with the black bronco style SUV towing the speed boat, another fantastic set.

U must be real lazy, if cleaning ur room is that much of a hassle for u. dont let it get messy and u wont have to clean it. u kids have the world by the throat today and yet ya complain when a menial task needs to be completed. its not asking that much, just do it and shut up about it.

I bought this set last week, after lusting over it for almost a whole year and i was pleasently suprised. Not only does it blow the original away in size and detail but the appearence. i liked it so much i went out and bought another one LOL. only things i dont like is the cock pit (no controls, hard to get the driver in such a tight compartment) and the side guns. they are to easy to knock off accidently. one thing i have to ask, what are those little "claw" like things on the feet and on the back of the legs for?

i picked up set 7009 last week at Wal-Mart on a whim, it was the cheapest set of the new Castle line (the others were out of stock). i didnt have high expectations being a Castle collector from way back (forest men, fright knights, wolf pack, etc) but i was suprised. the return of classic colored armor and weaponitry. also the new skellies are SWEET. they really add a dark side to the Castle world.

What does 150 euro convert to in USD? i did it online and for $215 8-

Thanx, i tried a lot of different mirror styles and this one was the easiest to make and IMO best looking as well. i went to school for automotive and diesel tech. so i had a lot of time to study the dimensions of bigger trucks. im still not all happy about the rear of the compactor, where the trash cans are placed. oh well, definatly better then what Lego originally offered us.

i am very disappointed by the tractor trailors offered by Lego. the rig looks horrible, almost <insert that tiresome argument> with the roof being one solid ugly piece. the trailors arent THAT bad, using the train car as a base plate is actually a good idea IMO. but outside of that, the use of so many large, single pieces seems silly to me. Lego really did it right w/ the 7991 and cement truck for a flat nose rig. i wish they make some standard rigs again, only in 6 wide *sigh* the police station isnt bad at all, the blue kind of kills it but im sure one can retrofit those pieces with the more common black. i like the station and van. the police helicopter is ok, id perfer something like the rescue copter realsed in 06. the ATV for the police tractor trailor is silly, i made my own version and IMO they are far superior. the new police sea plane is lousy, all i care to say on that. the cargo plane, IMO is really nice. as was the previous "jumbo" sized airplanes. they seem to fit better then the tiny 4 wide planes of yesteryear. the other cargo sets are mediocre at best. we need some more regular city sets now...

i just realized i did add a door to the opposite side, hmm...i need to take a few more pictures now. gotta remember to take it off, as one of my other cars now has only one door.

i wanted to add doors but i ran out LOL. so i left those pieces as is.
